Yall are really the Denis Villeneuve/Chris Nolan of the pedal world...Unbelievable job with this editor!! So easy, intuitive, clean, modern, and blazing fast! The ability to store ALL THE PRESETS i want and switch libraries is unreal, this made the legendary LVX even more unstoppable, thank you so much for pouring your heart, soul and vision into this. A masterpiece of art and aesthetics ❤
Simply brilliant. The librarian features alone would be a MAJOR upgrade to the LVX, the ability to edit on screen and hear changes immediately is just incredible. I love the graphical UI on the hardware unit, but this makes really deep complex editing sessions just a joy, and I've only spent a couple of hours with it. Thanks so much, your work on this and graphical interface is fantastic. EDIT: I also just realized how incredibly useful the quick dock is to quickly understand how a preset was built. I've only ever dug deeply into a handful of factory presets to see how they were made, the quick dock (and also the comprehensive one page view of all the modifiers) is making taking presets apart to see how they work a snap. Just great.
Kudos Jinna, for a first UI design and software application you've nailed it with LVX and prEDITOR! Can't believe nobody has used that name before either, it's so obvious!
Thanks so much for this. My middle-aged eyes could only handle so much editing on the small screen! Already up and running on it. Amazing work. This will really help a lot of people unlock the full power of this beautiful machine.
YES!!!! Thank you Jinna and everyone involved, LVX really needed this editor to fully shine, or should i say, we who are not that patient needed it :) It looks great, hope it will work with my focusrite scarlet 18i8.
This is most excellent! I am very excited to try this out. Being able to edit the 16 step sequencer or the multi tap delay types so easily will be a game changer! Thank you guys so much!
Jinna, the quick view drop down is awesome! I'm someone who likes to see how complex a patch is without deep diving, and this will be so welcome. Now bring on the MercuryX!!!
This is a great product. Thank you SO much for being so thoughtful about workflow and UI. Like others, very excited to see this on the MercuryX. Both pedals are fixtures in my sound now. You’ve assembled a great team.
i just have to say i have literally been waiting for this forever and i am so happy its finally here. Great job girl thank you thank you! Lvx is so much more of a joy now with this. Hopefully it comes to mercury x soon as well!
This is the best guitar pedal editor i've ever used. Actions like highlighting a patch name to change it or dragging patches to swap or replace are super intuitive. Pedal editors and even more modern pedal menu's treat you like an idiot and require too many intermediary steps to make simple edits. You didn't overthink anything. It's just good design. Very Meris. (I know everyone asks what's next and it seems likely that a Mercury X editor is on the horizon but any plans for OG pedals like Hedra or Enzo?)
@davedraws76 - u just made my whole day. Wow thank you 🙏 we’ve invested 3 years (total) to create our hardware’s operating system + editor/librarian from the ground up. It would be a shame not to keep going 😉
So im struggling on connecting it myself and im sure its user error. Does the Midi in and out for the device have to be directly plugged into the midi device? I'm using both a conduit and a MC6 Pro, but both are wired pretty tight on my board so i'd have to rearrange a few things to get things to work but was curious on how its supposed to connect to these devices
Yes. MIDI connection is required. I heard that the MC6 specifically requires it's own separate MIDI channel. Or conduit requires Port 5 to be used. Email us directly and we can help you! www.meris.us/contact/
@@MerisUs good, glad i could help! I must say, i skipped the factory reset part, and first the prEditor was stuck at 0% when transferring presets from LVX. Then i restarted the app and transfer started and finished, no problem at all. Editing and saving works like a charm.. prEditor looks and feels really good!
I'm using a gigrig G3 Atom as a midi switcher, can I use it for access to the pedal with the prEditor? I'm a little confused as to how to do this? thanks
We wish we could have utilized MIDI over USB-C too. Especially me. LVX uses the full capacity of its ARM processor and there is not enough reserve processing to run the significant resources that USB-C requires.
This is awesome. I just really wish you could establish the connection over USB. This would be very helpful in integrating with a board that's already wired up and connected to a midi controller. This is at least how i do with the helix editor on my hx stomp. Any chance of that - is it possible hardware wise? It's got the usb-c port

I was waiting for this, as many other LVX users. Got a question: when I adjust the mix or time or feedback knob on the unit itself it doesn't show these changes on the LVX screen. Is this by design?
Nevermind, found it at the bottom of the README. Here's the list for others: Tested MIDI Devices • CME U2MIDI Pro • Yamaha MD-BT01 • Widi Master Bluetooth • MOTU M4 • Morningstar MC6 PRO • Morningstar MC8 • Morningstar MC6 MkII • Strymon Conduit (use Port 5)

Yes please!
Fingers crossed!!
Hi @jimmyrigs @PerishableDave @SteveMayzak - there will be a wait but MercuryX is definitely slated to be next.
couldn't be more hyped. out of curiosity we talking months or quarters? 👀@@MerisUs
God bless you

Thank you @ZigbertD for coming back to tell me your experience. This comment made my year investment of focus so rewarding.
This thing has blown me away - truly innovative and inspiring and wonderfully well thought through - amazing work Jinna ❤
Thank you. Appreciate your words. Really do.

ah thank you @jamesglewmusic. And haha, I do like puns.
Incredible! Thank you Meris and great job on the video Jinna! Looking forward to Mercury X support!!
This was so fun to work on, I can't wait to see what people are able to make with it. ❤

You all are amazing. My LVX and Mercury X arrived today, and I cannot get over how great they sound. And now this! Thank you all.
Thank you for grabbing both pedals!
Thank you Team Meris. Great job. It is perfectly working with a generic USB to 5pin MIDI in/out cable.
So awesome. Could you tell me specifically which one? Maybe I can make a list that's called "Confirmed by Public". Or something like that.
Following as i'm curious on what cable used for this as well!
Milisten 2M USB midi in-out cable..
@@cijoraju - thanks that helps out!

That sequence editor is a game changer. Love this
Thank you Jinna and Meris team!
Thanks so much for this amazingly useful software, I can’t wait to dive in and take my LVX to new levels of awesome!
Oh how I’ve been waiting for this 🎉
wow i absolutely love this! cant wait to get started on it! great job as always!!
Super stoked about this!!

Great job guys 🤘🤘
Sweet! Love my LVX!
Cool! Looks great! Thank You :)
Awesome, will this extend to Mercury X in due course?
Absolutely that is our goal. There will be a wait but definitely.
Looking forward to Mercury X wupport too here!

I just watched this whole video and I still don't know what this product does or to whom it caters. It was on my YT homepage. :D

Apologies, I don't own any Gigrigs to test currently.
Bit surprised why you didn't just use the USB port on the device? Is it completely out of the table or It can change with coming firmware updates?
We wish we could have utilized MIDI over USB-C too. Especially me. LVX uses the full capacity of its ARM processor and there is not enough reserve processing to run the significant resources that USB-C requires.
is there now way to just import 1 preset onto the live device? or do i have to import it to the library then push the whole library to the device?
Have you tried using the "Library Organizer" and dragging a single preset to Live Device?
This is WONDERFUL!!! Great work!!! Big BIG THANK YOU!!!
Can we expect editor for meris mercury 7 / polymoon / hedra / enzo / ottobit?
Taking it 1 step at a time. Next is MercuryX :)

HARDWARE FOR…EVER !
I'm with you.
Cool stuff. Which MIDI interfaces are known to work with the LVX and this editor?
Nevermind, found it at the bottom of the README. Here's the list for others:
Tested MIDI Devices
• CME U2MIDI Pro
• Yamaha MD-BT01
• Widi Master Bluetooth
• MOTU M4
• Morningstar MC6 PRO
• Morningstar MC8
• Morningstar MC6 MkII
• Strymon Conduit (use Port 5)
Great, you found it. It's also listed on the product page, in the 'TESTED DEVICES' tab. :-)
Confirming that The Roland UM-ONE DOES work. Remember to utilise both MIDI In and MIDI out sockets of your interface, not just MIDI out
Was there a reasoning behind not having this work via the USB port, like the HX Stomp does for instance?
We wish we could have utilized MIDI over USB-C too. LVX uses the full capacity of its ARM processor and there is not enough reserve processing to run the significant resources that USB-C requires.
Got it! Thanks for the reply 👍@@MerisUs
Windows 7 Please
I don't know the complications (yet) but we will consider the backwards compatibility for the next build.
What cable do I need to connect to a pc? Midi to usb?
Our website with the tab that reads, "Tested Devices" as well as the Read Me file lists our recommended/tested devices. :-)
Really looking forward to Mercury X editor. 🤍
