I just wanted to say I think that it's really great you let Andy do things he finds fun and enjoyable, I think that some parents often do things that are conventionally 'fun' rather than listen to what their children want to do.
Have you ever taken Andy ice skating? I work at the ice rink in Nottingham. We have a lot of positive feedback with the children with autism that skate with us. It has had a huge impact on them! We have a special quite session for people with autism on Friday 5-7!
I'm glad you and Andy were able to go out and about and enjoy yourselves! I love watching your exploration videos! I get so many good ideas of where to visit while I'm in England! I'm really looking forward to going on the London Eye! And cannot wait to visit Nottingham! So many shops with food and sweets I want to try :)
Kevin whether you're his birth father or not, I feel you are! You're an awesome dad. Such love you have for your son!! I have 2 step children and they weren't born with me by birth but they were born in my heart! Just how I feel Andy was born to you!!
My son is autistic he 13 hates lifts, high bridges, escalators which makes it hard when we have to get clothes for him as he really tall now and needs to go to mens department. My son loves trains too and computer games so i can understand how u have to fit your day round him. Glad he has great parents who support him through his difficulties its bloody tough some days and no knows unless you live it.
Andy should have a train set. Hornby sets are amazing. If not Hornby, LEGO train set would be the next best option. (Also, LEGO doesn't breack as easy and you can just put it back together)
Kevin you are such a kind patient loving parent. Your trips with Andy are so special. Parents today have no time for kids and kids spend to much time with electronics. love from Az USA 🌵🦂
Shame I missed you yesterday in Nottingham but did make me laugh to see my wife in the background. Showed her so you might have gained a new watcher. Also Kev you are a braver man than me taking on that wheel. I salute you.
Some trains still have the manual announcements on EMT. the only reason they have it automatic as it’s easier to hear if the disabled and they have to be DDA compliment
Andy did do well on such a long day. I find I only have a really short time between getting physically and mentally tired and the resulting being emotional overwelmed and I become angry and frustrated and irritable and I basically can't cope. I want all people and auditory and visual stimulation to instantly go away. I want to teleport to my quiet safe bedroom to get myself calm and settled.
Glad he got you on the Eye, looked every bit as terrifying as I imagined. I'm new to the channel, coming over from FM, so this was my first Nottingham video, was good to see some landmarks I recognised. Keep up the good work.
hi have u ever been to holme level crossing, I live opposite the east coast mainline, we love standing at end of garden watching the trains n level crossing ,
13:21 just to the right of that church, between it and the M&S is a little area that is hidden from the main walkway. I often escape there for ten minutes when I'm in Nottingham and get sensory overload. Weirdly its a place my Mum used to eat her lunch in when she worked in Nottingham in the 70's. I only found out last year she used to escape there too.
It is definitely half term in Notts. But everyone must have decided to go on Wednesday when I went instead. It was very busy and my bus was full! Should have gone Thursday instead obviously 😂😂
That lift in Nottingham is the most painful thing. I usually travel back home every 2/3 months and need to take the train to London to catch a flight. With the lifts not working I have to carry 20/30 kilos of luggage up and down the stairs... been an issue for almost a year now but apparently it will be fixed this April
Another good video kev! Glad to see Andy's enjoying my city's somewhat undervalued (I say undervalued because I doubt theres anyone in Nottingham who loves the trams as much as he does😂did the train honk Andy or was that a normal thing? Cheers again
I know this may sound stupid so I apologise but what are the main traits of someone with autism. Obviously I can tell Andy is a very special boy, but i love being educated. Thanks guys!
Love your vids Chapman fam! Please come to Liverpool in the future 😀 Birkenhead tramway and transport museum outside of L'pool in the Wirral I couldn't recommend enough, Andy would love it!!!
So I've got a bit of a question. With Andy's current diet of crisps, toast, etc, how do you guys go about handling the long plane ride? I know you can buy crisps after getting through security (if it's like the states), but will they let you bring Andy's favorite kind with you? I got to thinking about that and wondered how you'd two go about that.
Nice video Andy is just like me a person who likes trains and trams! I would love to meet him and go for a train ride with him it would be fun. He is very knowledgeable and I think he would make a good volunteer at a railway when he is older! I think he would also love a train set as he can play with trains all day long. The train you got to Nottingham goes through my home town of Warrington! Andy would also make a good guard on a train as he could tell people where to get off and all of that. Andy should check out my channel as I have a whole video on the Nottingham trams! I love Highbury vale it’s good for tram spotting. 👍😀
Could I have Andy on every train I go on please? Then I might not miss my stop or panic about not knowing where I am. Haha 😂
Flappy Hands And Stims! Same and my daily commute on a tram
I missed my stop on my bus yesterday, I wished Andy was there 🤣🤣🤣
When he said thank you at the beginning!
Matt ......I know. The guy blew the horn for him. He’s polite. Andy is awesome.
I just wanted to say I think that it's really great you let Andy do things he finds fun and enjoyable, I think that some parents often do things that are conventionally 'fun' rather than listen to what their children want to do.
Love how the train driver honked the horn to say hi to Andy 🖤
Ben Loughton unfortunately that wasn’t for Andy they have to do that at level crossings
Fabe's Railway Adventures hi Fabe - just wanted to let you know Andy is a big fan of your level crossing videos!
Fabe's Railway Adventures my bad it the ones near me they do I just assumed it was the ame everywhere in the uk
Ethan Townsend oh 😂
We live next to a train line and they peep constantly at people waving to them , in the summer it's non stop because everyone's always waving at them
At first I thought Andy was flipping us off in the thumbnail.
Synthetic Raven Same
I thought the same 😂
Same
Me too
Had to double check also
I see Andy is growing into another young train spotter/enthusiast like me !!!!
I need an Andy to accompany with me on trains because I m visually impaired so when they don’t call out changes I get in a spot of trouble 😂😂
Hope he had a great day with many things he loves ;)
Good manners Andy!! So positive, awesome! Everyone needs a train ride with Andy!
Have you ever taken Andy ice skating? I work at the ice rink in Nottingham. We have a lot of positive feedback with the children with autism that skate with us. It has had a huge impact on them! We have a special quite session for people with autism on Friday 5-7!
Looks like you both had a awesome day!
Love how this guy is a train enthusiast as I am autistic and I am a bus enthusiast. You go, my guy, Andy!
Hiya kev great to see Andy enjoying himself so much another example of what an amazing man and dad you are 😀
Hi kev I live in Nottingham and I love watching yours and Andys videos as they fill me with hope
I loved that Andy said thank you after the train whistle.

Great vlog guys really enjoyed that one!!

I'm glad you and Andy were able to go out and about and enjoy yourselves! I love watching your exploration videos! I get so many good ideas of where to visit while I'm in England! Kevin whether you're his birth father or not, I feel you are! You're an awesome dad. Such love you have for your son!! I have 2 step children and they weren't born with me by birth but they were born in my heart! Just how I feel Andy was born to you!!

I was just about to ask the same question.
Oh Nottingham is full fun ooh Nottingham is fun
Lovely day out 👍Andy is a lucky boy to have a dad like you😇He is coming on so well 👍HE IS A STAR 😍
Andy would be a great conductor! Have you ever thought to contact the Rail Line to see about giving him a day on the rails after the pandemic ends?
11:33 it’s called a platform lift. They only use it because it’s cheap and easy to install
My son is autistic he 13 hates lifts, high bridges, escalators which makes it hard when we have to get clothes for him as he really tall now and needs to go to mens department. What does Anna want do after uni?
She’s planning on becoming a Crime Scene Investigator
Oh nice.
Do you think Andy would like working on trains when he's older? He could announce the stops, or check tickets
You should go to Bulwell Level Crossing, right next to Bulwell Forest, it has trains & trams, and you can see Buses go past

Andy WILL someday announce the trains! I declare it to be so!
Besides, it would surely be helpful to visually impaired folks!
What dose Andy call you
Dad or Kevin
Talking the male talk lol
Who watches oli white because I was watching one of his vids and it said the "Chapman family viewers watch this"
Hi
Class 158 horn is weird
Has Andy ever been on a paternoster lift? I'm curious about how he would react to that.
