Man, I'm tired of people saying "Oh that shotgun has good range!" Call of Duty has really screwed up the minds of nearly everyone. In combat, shotguns use either 12 gauge slugs, or buckshot. Buckshot spreads, but still has good distance. It's nothing like in Call of Duty where the spread goes 6ft in front of you and suddenly disappears.

@shotgunmasterQL Are you sure it is? Casue DICE is not working on MoH2, they are focusing on Battlefield 3 only til released. where is your source that there will be Moh2?
@BEARARMZ yeah. MoH needed 3 million copies sold for them to even think about a MoH2, and i'm not sure of the numbers, but i think MoH only sold roughly 1.7mil.

@oceanblue1224 it sold 5 milion copys, but its not defined are those copies reused. they are unofficialy working on a sequel (danger close is hirinh people with a knowledge of FB2 engine for AAA multiplayer game.... they have never made AAA multiplayer.)

in MOH you cant blow that much shit up online, In bfbc2 u can breach any wall with c4 and bring down buildings and it has more vehicles. thats the difference.

why are they decreasing the number of pple that can go in one server older games you could play with 60 ple at the same time and now you got to go with 24 atleast make it 30-32 cause in mw2 i was sometimes just bored to death with waiting to come across some1

@hkill09 EXACTLY! Call of Duty's shotguns have absolutely no realism in range. Personally I love running around with the SPAS-12 in MW2 and being inable to hit someone you shoot deadcenter from across 1 room is rediculous. Me and my friend are gonna have oodles of fun with shotguns I reckon >:)
@IrishBagel07 well i only expirienced them in the open beta which was really bad on PC but i will try it out tommorow (plus that i ordered the limited and that will give me an immidiate access to the shotguns and i will try to level up with them :P ) but i may like the mp-7 a bit more though
Shotguns are ridiculously realistic... They got shotties right in this installment... I have yet to tinker with most of the shotguns in BF3, except for the DAD (or whatever it's called) and it's not as good as the shotgun in this video. He domed a guy from 30 yards away... that's realistic, alright. CoD... don't even start with that bullshit.
@IrishBagel07 thanks :) but there are some things that are a bit frustrating :\ like some guy got a 30-0 game sniping on a map with the m24 :| (i hit him 2 times with the open-tip rounds and he did not died and he basically slaughtered our whole team (he got like 10 kills just from me trying to kill him -.- ) aside from that its actually fun and you want to play the way you want you can do it only in team deatmatches though cuz in other games everyone spawn kills, EVERYONE!!!

I like how realistic the shotgun's range is, more accurate than a 20 gauge (I shot one) P.S the biggest shell would be called a 1 gauge

@hkill09 I agree, even with buckshot a combat shotgun can hold a tight enough grouping to kill at around 35 yards.
