It's really enjoyable to play.
I guess you will be very disappointed. Bought the game already and WSC11 looks way better than snooker 19. Also the gameplay is sometimes pretty strange. In fact how the balls come out of the cushion. I am a real life snooker player for over 20 years now and i think i know what i am talking about. Snooker 19 was a very big fault imho. "This is Snooker" coming out on 16th may. You should take a look

Brought snooker 19 on Xbox one release date i an very confident that the game will be patched during year my suggestions
to the developers .
1.Create player options Race ,height, weight ,hair colour ,a absolute Must! in career mode.
2.Must include Player stats, potting,safety play, pressure and so on.
3.Must show where the cue ball will finish ,will help the novice to compile breaks.
4.Must slow down the ball movement ,the cue is not easy to control because of this.
5.Must include old retired players or past matches [optional ] Steve Davies ,Alex Higgins , Cliff thorburn, kirk stephens.Dennis taylor.

They won't have player creation options as it's a licensed product. It's all about the 128 professional players.

Great video Jason just bought this game after watching its really good even though im terrible at the moment lol just wish they would add player creation in career to be able to play as yourself against the pros would make this perfect hope they do i a future update
There's been a lot of update patches added to the game (as of Tuesday 17th of March 2020) and things are starting to come together! And as this is the first console based and snooker game I've played period it's a great game (just my opinion) :)
i played this and the controls are hard to figure out not like WSC 9 on pc which are much easyer and the graphics are just real!
I just bought this game I never played anything hard as this but it still fun
It's been out for a few years now and they introduced a Practice Mode which a lot of people were crying out for.
One thing I would like to put out there for anyone to answer... How do you reset your top break on the Practice table as I've yet to find an answer without resetting my player (and I don't want to do that).
I will definitely be getting this on pc it be a good game to chillout and relax to after coming home from Night Shift👍👍

Online needs sorting 20mins for a game I can understand the shot timer with all the Peter ebdons in this world but the match should go until the last black has been sunk 😂 😂 😂

Do you have to use the power bar isn't there a setting for free hand cueing ?. I can't stand snooker or pool games when you have to use power bars.

Easy difficulty AI is still very hard for beginner please let them know to fix that and HARD AI is too good not even miss a shot

Great game but the white does move too much. Just keeps rolling and rolling and can be annoying when your on a colour then it just keeps moving
As far as physics and graphics, PURE POOL >>>>>>> This. This has a nicer presentation. ie: commentary, crowd, Ai competition.
Plus the shot execution method is above and beyond with using the analog sticks for the pull back and power of your shots ...etc. It actually FEELS like you're taking a shot. That's IMHO anyway.

i can not play in pc using game controller...how to fix?
I'm probably crap at this game but for some reason I'm being paired against top ten players in career mode when I've first start career on rising star mode easy difficulty should make it bit easier but doesn't feel very easy lol

@@GametechUK watching you on the table, lining up the cue ball and getting the right angle, trying not to snooker yourself, the only ball I'd be able to pot would be the white one

Man I'm so gutted you can't create you're own player! I was really looking forward to building up attributes and really getting that starting from scratch feeling . Really disappointing having to do career as a real player only.
Totally agree, that would of been an awesome edition.
Jason, for each CPU player do they have different attributes as in most sports games? For example individual ratings for potting, safety, cue ball control etc. Or are the band of top players (i.e. top 20) all the same attribute-wise?
I dont think the opponents have those seperate components. They are basically chosen from 3 pools, i.e easy, medium and hard.
@@GametechUK that’s the main reason this game failed. If they had attributes then beginner players have a chance. I play snooker and I’m very good at it, this game is not at all an accurate depiction. Humans miss, the CPU rarely does so you’re essentially trying to beat a computer. I had it on easy, each time it bested me, the AI was flawless. Some teenager from china who’s a playable character, who also never misses. It’s trash, it’s a mistake to advertise this game, and if you’re mates with the developers, ask them politely to upper cut themselves to death.

Multiplayer isn’t working, any solution bro? I created a code and send it to my friend, it only shows searching and it gets done. Nothing comes after that.
short summary of the ai: long balls too much of the good, break too bad, saftys just roll and come out of the snooker is not synonymous, also often the wrong decision is made what the next ball would be!
Hopefully all will be fixed soon. Personally i will be taking on subscribers on stream so all good.

thinking of getting this, but then found out there is no practice mode? :( what would you suggest is the best way to practice.
You can setup matches outside of the single player campaign and online sections. You can set your opponent skill level so you could cater it to your skill level. But there is no empry table for practice shots, which is a shame.
Haven't played snooker on a PC since Jimmy White's 'Whirlwind' Snooker back in 91, looks like things haven't changed much hahah, I must say though played that sport bar VR pool and snooker on steam and that's fucking realistic as hell, especially if you have something to lean on the same height as the table.

If your after a simulation check out Shooterspool which is absolute superb. Has snooker and a whole host of games. A proper simulation, miles ahead of this mainstream crap lol.

How do points work in the online tournament please can you help
The AI now plays proper safety shots (Steam PC version). It got released at v1.05 and so i think once the console versions are patched to v1.05 the AI safety play will patched in. To be fixed then, are the AI positional play (no backspin applied around the Black and Pink spots, always trying the unrealistic heavy sidespin to make the white ball move in line with the next target object ball, and also the annoying choice of playing a Yellow and green long shot and ignoring the obvious nearby Black, Pink or Blue). So anyway to update..............AI safety shots are FIXED!!!!

It's a cool game, and 8 like the price point too. I think once you get the hang of it and start to dominate it will be awesome.

Can someone make a tutorial on HOW TO QUIT. I mean, not quit playing, but quit the program. Exit the program. Exist the software. Close the game. END THE GAME and quit. Could someone teach how to do that?!

Game is annoying on career rising star mode I'm rank 128 and first qualifying round I get Judd trump rank 2 I miss a shot than table gets cleaned up !

Not in the menus, no. You can hold down a button to display the value of the balls if that helps?

No, only the licensed players are available.
Game is too hard for a complete beginner to play you go amateur aiming aid,miss one time the other guy pots all the balls and you lose . Looks great but unless you are really good at these games don’t buy it .
My dad's not a gamer never has been but seen this and thought he'd enjoy it as he loves snooker and once played a pool game but it was very basic. You would advice against getting it?
I really enjoy playing this game but the online options are absolutely shocking. I can understand a shot clock in ranking matches, but surely 45 secs would have been much more sensible and the fact you cannot turn this off when playing friends is ridiculous. Also the 20 min time limit for a frame, even in ranking matches, is absolute bollox. There should also be options to play best of 3 or more frames when playing friends.
I agree with everything you said. Lets hope we get the changes soon.

In career mode? Once you click career there will be an option, bottom left i think, start new career.

You only get 20mins online :( that’s it when comes to end they stop the game when your close to winning as well :(

Go into V's mode. Bottom right you will see 'edit code' both go in there and put the same, unique word. Then just search for a match. It should join you up together.
Pure Pool looks graphically better and seems to have better controls than this title. As tempted as I may have been, now that I've seen it... I'm not so excited anymore.

Pure pool doesn't have a career option though. That's the mode I'd play
..is there an overhead cam veiw for when lining up a shot..? if not it needs it...
Not fully over head, but you can control the camera to get pretty high above the table.

I think this game is way to hard. If you want a serious challenge you have the option definitely in this game but for someone like me that has always watched snooker but never actually played the game, it was way to hard and very infuriating. I have already smashed a controller 2 days in
Did you play against the AI? Because i also find them very hard to beat. I prefer to play in the unranked V's mode.

There's only 1 Thing to Know.... The Game is Crap. EVERY Shot I made Missed even with The Aim line fully in the Pocket. I Put it in the Bin after only 5 Minutes of Play. Worst £50 I ever Spent. Gonna stick to Real Snooker 🤣🤣🤣
I am here to say just that world snooker championship 2005 is better, you can play a lot of game modes there, 8 ball 9 ball. They put less effort on this 2019 game. Disappointing.

Shocking game. PlayStation 1 graphics. Then it has Poor aim assist can't even see where the cue ball lands after it comes off a cushion. So unless u practice ten hours a day u won't get very far. We not all professionals you know!!

This game is rubbish, first you can't even skip when the opposite player is making a break, like on the snooker game on x box. Second you can't properly judge where the cue ball is going to go. Finally the graphics and glitches are terrible. Don't buy!

The wsc had a bigger budget than this title has been made on a modest budget ,remember this game can be purchased for 23.99 at Argos,stop comparing this game to big budget titles like Fifa 19.The game is well worth the asking price .EA or 2k only want to make the same game yearly NBA and Fifa are you not bored of those titles? i am ,give this game a chance .

Really? Apart from the player models i think the graphics are awesome. The reflections, chalk marks and finger marks on the beige all look fantastic to me.

how to reset the stats.....users/:yourname as user:/appdata/local/unreal/saved/savedgames/snookersavegame.sav delete this file and snooker19 resets to tutorial when you restart
Anyone Watching this ignore the Negative comments about the game being Poor ,Game is well worth the asking price 25.99 on Amazon .The game is not perfect and the table runs a little bit fast but i am sure the game with be patched during the year.The most important gameplay element is cue ball physics and they are spot on.7 out 10

Terrible game. Takes half an hour between shots. Ridiculous.
Has to be the worst Snooker game ever. Taking shots is awful, fine tuning and moving of the cue is terrible. Deleted after an hour of trying to play, it's not remotely realistic either. You can see they have tried to make it realistic but failing miserably. There is absolutely no fun element in this game.

Games sort of crap tbh. No cue ball landing zone. Even on easy the ai pots everything. Start a young star and face top 10 every time. No ref on screen at all. World championship snooker 07 still best to date
