Thank you for the video, I’m about to add new caps to my RNineT and was a bit hesitant about fluid leak. Also wondering why we use Locktite on some screws and not on others?

It’s not necessary to use ThreadLocker on these so I figured I’d do a couple just in case and honestly never really needed it to begin with.

Gotta ask, how much did you spend on the aftermarket accessories for this bike. In total....

It's something I've covered a few times in the past. The GS Adventure is the most well equipped go-most-places bike in the world. There are bikes more capable but none as well equipped with protective bits, built in pannier racks, auxi lights, great wind protection and fuel range. You quite literally have to do nothing to it for a trip around the world. It's also the bike with the most aftermarket options 2nd only to the single cylinder KTM bikes like the EXC. You can make a GSA anything you want. It can be an Iron Butt Rally bike, it can do some light single track with the right suspension, wheels and tires, you can commute on it and light up the night sky with a very powerful alternator. I make no apologies about making all of these modifications, some functional, some style but I'll tell everyone that this bike does not need any of the things I'm doing to it. It benefits, sure but the modifications as a whole add a considerable amount of complexity and weight and cost should the bike be crashed or stolen so modify with care and no one should follow in my footsteps.

Hello. Eventually, the leaking just stopped. I’m not really quite sure why, but every time I do an upgrade like this to any bike, I had the same issue where it weeps a little bit of oil and then stops after a few days

My OCD is SCREAMING to tell you your mirror mount swivel on the right side is facing same direction as left side. Shouldn’t it be facing outward like the left side?
    Oh....nice mod too. 😁

I believe that's just so I could get to the reservoir. I'll make sure though. I generally don't screw something like that up.
