I was never a fan of disco back in the day, but I have an appreciation for it now. Donna Summer did have a great voice. So many hits, I think she could have easily performed in an genre.
Glad you’ve developed an appreciation for disco and Donna. She started in musical theater (Hair) and Rock as a backup vocalist for Three Dog Night. After disco she wrote country songs for other artists. She and her voice were one of a kind.

She lived in Europe and was in the German Production of Hair as a Chorusgirl. Her First major hit was "Love To Love You Baby" 1975 but she was unstoppable in the 1970's. In the 1980's she became a Born Again Christian and did songs with less suggestive lyrics. She's still an icon and Kelly Rowland (Ex Destiny's Child) is considered to be first choice to play her in a Biopic.

Wow love this version, it had a vast amount of airplay in 70s, rightly so this was quitessensial the "Summer" song to make love to, fantastic.
