I think this episode is really nice in showcasing the cosplay community. The episode does a nice job in filling the in between of the panels. Lilysa is definitely cuter as a result.
Another great episode. Who would've thought I'd be here on episode 3, I was setiously considering skipping this anime because it looked generic and a sono bisque copy but I'll argue that its probably better than that.
The manga for both came out 6 months apart in 2018/2019. Calling it a copy is a reach
It does seem really cute, and is there anything better than a really cute female character?
This was another really great episode. Though I feel direction wise it is worst than the first 3, the first half at least. Which is why you also feel like the first half wasnt that good. Theyve quite a bit of original Ashford animation previously, I feel like them watching Lilliel on her phone would have been better. Like actual comparing the panel vs the shot from the show of "them watching Lilliel anime" on the bench.
Also idk if you've seen it, but last week the mangaka said the series was going to end in like 3 volumes as just an ecchi romcom in a clubroom, till his editor said "can we go out the clubroom", and I think its fascinating that is where Yu Hashimoto turned doing a wish fulfillment fantasy story into it being "otaku finding a safe space". She felt safe expressing herself to Okumura cause theyre both Otaku, and it is seperate from the real busniess and otaku world outside of the clubroom.
And so this is like, where 2.5 Dimensional Seduction starts having more actual "adult" subject matter thats helpful for its shonen target demographic

I think I’ll just stick with the manga, not interested in an anime that cuts out all the Ecchi, in an Ecchi story.
This isnt an ecchi story, this is a cosplay battle shonen that is popular in Japan and the marketing push is even greater with the anime, so many figures have already been produced for this series

not focused on ecchi but side by side. you shouln't erase one of that part just because you don't like or care about it.

@@SevensDran mangaka or the one who manage it A.K.A the mangaka manager? if it's mangaka then why the manga still containing fanservice here and there and why the new game also focused on sexual theme? do you understand how shueisha and manager also directing the mangaka? are you also sure it's pure mangaka choice?

Manga better.. if they made this actually R rated it’d be better.. this kind of story needs a boob or 2.. same way I think of Jobless Reincarnation.. if it went actual R rated not pg-13 it would be top 3 anime of all time for me.. jobless is still top 10 but gets a point or 2 knocked off for being a little censored
Especially in an Ecchi story, makes absolutely no sense to me why they censor it, who do they think the people are that are viewing this? Do they think that by censoring this they’re somehow going to get new viewers? All they’re doing is losing viewers, this mindset makes no sense to me.

Fantastic episode for showing what a **supportive community** cosplay is. Even amidst the fan service, that moment was SO wholesome!!
Yeah. Anyone who's an ass and is watching this anime is probably reflecting right now and committing on doing better.
I'm not watching this, but this isn't a good sign for future ecchi series.
First Mysterious Disappearances, now this.
Mahoako literally aired this year, maybe you should like actually think about why changes were made then some nebulous "theyre hiding the tits form society" or something
@@SevensDran Gushing Over Magical Girls isn't a good excuse, that series's source material was never lewd or ecchi to begin with.
Mysterious Disappearances & 2.D Seduction are both ecchi manga that had there anime counterparts purposely censored by design instead censored via typical edits.

@@Mecks089 it's not a deflection, youre talking in general about something that isn't general. 2.5 isn't some niche show that people wont be talking about after this season. Its running for 2 seasons straight. Youre literally out of your depth
@@SevensDran Where's the proof that it's not general? Apart from Otaku Spirit, I haven't seen anyone talking about 2.5D, once people got wind of a certain insufferable land whale localizer getting her hands on that anime, people seem to of steered clear from it.
I've only heard Japanese channels talking about it, and it's fairly meh in terms of popularity, people keep comparing to My Dress Up Darling, but it seems more like a knock-off.
