What is this game, and where has it been my whole life...? Every single track is a straight up powerhouse of a banger! Top notch quality bgm stuff right here. The music is intense, passionate, vibrant, and tells a whole story within itself. The climb is ecstatic, the riffs, synth, everything about this theme especially is absolutely fucking epicly bad ass! The climax in the end. What the hell man. I never heard of this before, and instantly it's at top of my list of video game bgm's. Underatted, undiscovered gem!
Yes on all counts. Also, you could check out Demon's Tilt on Steam, which is a recent video pinball game that's very inspired by this and other pinball games by Naxat, though the music isn't quite as epic.
I don't know which theme i like more, Jaki Crush or Devil's Crush. Devil's is more hard hitting and high energy, but this one is more atmospheric and laid back but still goes in. 2:04 and onwards sounds fricken awesome. Also, i've noticed at 0:17 up to 0:30 the music, sonically, sounds very PC Engine like. I'm pretty sure they deliberately made it sound like that as a homage to the PC Engine.
I was listening to the OST from Justice Monsters Five, a pinball minigame from Final Fantasy XV and immediately reminded me of this awesome soundtrack. They are both very intense and Progressive Metal oriented.
@amyanimalover HAHA!! No, not "Devil's Crush"! Devil's Crush is simular to this game here, Jaki Crush. The game I was talking about was like a shooter game, with continuous scrolling backgrounds. Picture a pinball game where the backgrounds scroll down continuously, forcing you to work your way upward. It has a small barrier or wall that you move around used for blocking the pinball from falling into the pit (the bottom of the screen).
🇺🇲"Super Mario World, Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past, Super Metroid, Chrono Trigger, and Megaman X are the greatest SNES Soundtracks of all time hands down!😀🇺🇲 Me: Oh is that right? 🤔 🎶Jaki Crush main board🎶
@KaskelotenZebbe indeed it does.has a bit genesis feel to it.almost unmuffeld, they can make the snes sound good,if they just try.you'lle never get the cleanness that a genesis has but what do you expect from sample based the snes way.snes has awesome music but due to the samples instruments sound so familiar and genesis has longer and more epic composition to me.
@@zanegandini5350 It's interesting because Capcom worked with both PCM sampling (CPS-2 QSound) and FM synthesis (CPS-1 YM2151) during the 16-bit generation. This makes for an interesting fact: the Megadrive/Genesis sound system is better suited for adapting CPS-1 tracks, when the SNES sound system is better suited to CPS-2 tracks. Street Fighter 2' SCE on the Genesis is closer audio-wise to the CPS-1 original than Street Fighter 2 Turbo on the SNES. Likewise, Super Street Fighter 2 on the SNES is closer to the original CPS-2 soundtrack than the Megadrive version of the same game (even if Capcom could have done better on that game in particular).
@KaskelotenZebbe i tried, seems to be off or something,i can't do much on the site.Keep on making them like pier solar;).i'll try i'm pretty busy with music at the moment demos etc and a bit lesser with games, maybe i'll combine the 2 once sepultura alike thrash with games(Awesome):p.;).
there was one major problem with this bgm, when you lose the ball the music starts all over, os you never got to hear the entire bgm, and there were subsections of the game as well, so even if you could keep the ball up the table it would switch to mini games and the music would change again.
Hey, does anyone here remember another pinball game that was I think also made by the makers of Devil's Crush? It was a pinball game where the backgrounds scrolled down like a shooter and had many awesome devil creatures and bosses that you fight with the pinball. I've been looking EVERYWHERE for it, but I can't remember its name!! HAHA!! Can anyone help!?
@amyanimalover Hey Amy, I fucking FOUND IT!! It's called "Devilish" and it's for the Mega Drive!! Oh yeah, the Game Gear also has a version of that game!! Check it out!!
this entire soundtrack goes way harder than needed for a pinball game
and it's tamer than the previous game lol

Damn good game, still boggles my mind why they never brought it stateside
My guess would be because of all the occult stuff, but that's a pretty weak reason considering all the other SNES games with similar stuff.
+AlphaOmegaSin I think because it was for the Satellaview, the same system that had the BS Zelda games.
Graham Bell Good point, Sega and NEC (where the other two Crush games were released) had looser standards regarding religious/occult stuff.
We westerners were not prepared for this game
Aqui no Brasil era facilmente encontrado nas locadoras. 👍

I have Goosebumps when hearing the music again …. I miss my childhood
1:33 This part goes so damn hard!❤
For me it's 4:56
remixes and cover bands, WHERE YOU AT?
best street fighter song to not be in a street fighter game.
fwwaller So true
gosto muito dessa musica
Sounds quite good to be SNES.
BRILLIANT!
If the Devil’s Crush theme wasn’t so perfect, this would be my pick for the best atmosphere-fitting video game track of all time
I was listening to the OST from Justice Monsters Five, a pinball minigame from Final Fantasy XV and immediately reminded me of this awesome soundtrack. They are both very intense and Progressive Metal oriented.
Sounds like a Street Fighter II song
EPIC
This song is fucking awesome! This would also fit perfect to Outrun or any of the 16-bit beat em ups.
Awesome ♥♥♥
Is there any info on who composed that? He must've been a complete genius. This melody is great in every milisecond.

@aryinc Yeah, they managed to get out of the unmuffled problems sometimes, and then it sounded really good. Also, return to Sega-16 now!
YEAH!!! THAT'S the one!!! Bad Omen was the U.S. version of Devilish, I think! Thanks!!
vice versa

it almost sounds like music you'd hear on a cps2 game.
The sound hardware between the CPS2 and the SNES weren't all that different, other than the SNES being more limited in terms of onboard ram.

HAHAHAA!! Are you serious!? Well, I could keep promises, so, go for it! Tell me a good one!

This sounds like an altered version of pinball wizard.
Oh.... That's right! Thanks again! By the way, you wouldn't happen by chance to know if they've ever made a sequel, would you?
SEE IT!!! SEE IT!!!! HAHAHAA!!
Hey! The dude's just like you! You should see it! HAHA!!
Good tune but the sound seems to be higher quality here than how it would be on actual SNES hardware.
Sounds the same as when i play it on my original Super Nintendo.
There're people at OC ReMix who'd love to take a crack at this gem of a tune. Seriously though, who composed this soundtrack?
Hey, dude! Check out the movie, "Pacific Heights"! It reminded me of my new pal! HAHAHAA!!
ha ha ha.....
Let me guess. You park in handicap spaces and trip old ladies crossing the street! HAHAHAA!! Just kidding!
I'm curious. What kind of game is this?
