Fine comparison, however, the costs for London are highly understated. I live by myself and spend around 600 to 800 quids pcm on food and groceries whereas you are budgeting GBP 800 a month for a family of four including occasional dine outs on the weekends (which are a must!). Also, you are ignoring some other costs such as Council tax which you have to pay additional to the rent as well and forms a considerable portion of rent.
Well noted. I did ignore the council tax.
I think the numbers are pretty clothes for Canada. The rental for a two-bedroom could be slightly higher closer to 3000. Vehicle cost could be slightly less maybe 1300 depending on how far you need to drive for work which is your gas cost.
And you're absolutely right about inncome pre-tax.
In Canada I'll see right now if you're saving a 500 hundred Canadian dollars a month then you're doing pretty good compared to everyone else.
Honestly I wouldn't recommend Canada to anyone right now because the average good earning job would be between 60 to 90,000 pre-tax and as you can see from the expenses you're not left with much
Thanks for the input.
There is a benefit for sure, which is Passport, otherwise it does not seem to be a lucrative option.
Greetings from #China . Great content. Much helpful for people weighing their options to move abroad.

Nice video bit still needs improvement. I liked the video but you have to give info of all countries salary in end. Just a number would be helpful.
Valid point.
The problem is, there is no definitive salary across the country. For example, Dubai’s Manager can take anywhere between AED 18k - 38k depending on the company. So its a wild swing.
This is brilliant and so helpful 😮
