Omg, I was at Disneyland when the Nemo ride first opened. It was a HUGE deal at the time. I remember my dad sprinting from the gates (right as they opened) to that ride. They even had cast members pointing people in the right direction (Just chanting “Nemo’s that way” 👈🏻) over and over. I learned never to underestimate the power of a dad who hates lines and crowds that day. I don’t think I’ve ever seen my dad move faster.
Ahem. One day my grandpa and mom and auntie were at Disney World (this was before I was born) and my grandpa needed to throw something in the trash. And he accidentally pushed on the wrong side. Years later, me and my mom always love to rub it in on him for no reason. Both us and him have that trash can ornament. So yes, those ornaments can be really important.

Fun fact about the Lincoln animatronic, when they were originally testing him at the worlds fare, they invited the senator from Lincolns home state to see, well during the test a hydrologic line that creates the motion in the figure popped.
