It was said many times but GW really should start releasing different imperial guard regiments as kill team boxes, All people really need is that basic infantry kit, and from there we can kitbash heavy weapons teams, ordnance squads, tank commanders, etc. If they can put out 10 different SM lieutenants they can do one kit for a couple of major/popular regiments.
Nah, then us Killteam players will never get to play bc bighammer players buy all our kits.
Or a basic infantry kit and upgrade sprues for the different regiments
or do what warlord games does and print to order for the old guard kits
Kill team has more than enough guardsmen and guardsmen equivalent teams already lol, no.
IF I SEE ANOTHER GUARD VARIANT IN KILL TEAM IM RIOTING 😭 just give us the bespoke nids, death guard, custodes and daemons please GW
Harlequin player here. It's rumored, and confirmed by the recent Lelith Hesperax book, that Cegorach himself sometimes disguises himself as a Great Harlequin and goes out into the world to crack heads and take lols. I don't what could be a better model than a literal god.

Even if they didn't give a model of Cegorach himself...why not do a model in the likes of the avatar of Khaine and do an Avatar of Cegorach...either way would be awesome!!!
So, this is a dream of many Harlequins players. A few people have kitbashed the Yncarne into Cegorach/Avatar of Cerogach model (mine is still a long term WIP 😂), and then "plays as" The Yncarne, because the rules kinda make sense.
Some people are down on the idea, because Cerogach isn't a warrior, but it would only take a small amount of new lore to change that. For me, any excuse to put a sword-wielding laughing god on the table would be amazeballs.

Remember that story about the 5E Drukhari character that never got a model who played a game with what was probably Cegorach and won a crystalline heart she put in her chest? Maybe it will start cracking and turn her into something else. Drukhari and Harlequins could both use a few characters.

Also the biggest downfall of the Deathwatch is that GW never gave them an updated Kill Team kit. The firstborn one was the absolute best for being able to create your own guys.
Hopefully world eaters and thousand sons will get a big release instead of just one generic character

What they really need are the cerastus knights inside the codex, and maybe plastic acastus and questoris?
Listen, he can only remember so many things. He had to forget knights ( even though he has several) just so he can remember how to poop again.
GW should really put space marines on the shelf for a year or so when the range is fleshed out enough for the notable chapters. We need more attention on xenos models and lore.
An Agents of Chaos supplement would be great! You could include things like Cognitae agents, mercenaries, daemonhosts, rogue Inquisitors, and any number of other things from lore that don’t fit into a proper codex. It would also be a good place for things like the Beastmen to end up for now.
I just want space marines that taste like REAL space marines...

An upcoming Dawn of Fire novel "Hand of Abaddon", by Nick Kyme has a Votann on the cover, so maybe that's when they'll get introduced to the lore with other books following later? Although GW fell rather silent on the Dawn of Fire front though...
From the older Harlequins models that existed in the lore, Mimes and Master Mimes are notably missing from the newer range. Troupe Master doesn't have a dedicated model and is using a leader from a player squad. There are other stuff and back in 7th edition when Harlequins got their new range GW introduced brand new vehicles and all, so there is plenty of room for creativity to make new units for Harlequins. And special characters from lore like Sylandri Veilwalker doesn't have it's own model yet. Same qith Drukhari, there it's about time they get range refresh in next editions, we already received some new units and characters like new Mandrakes, Incubi, Drazhar, Lelith in 10th, 9th and 8th.
They could also create some kind of Mech for harlequins too. Some kind of puppet inspired war machine powered by pure mischief from Cerogach himself. Sadly GW does not seem to give a rat's arse about harlequins, so I won't hold my breath for anything new.

I'm not a harlequin player myself but something I'm somewhat surprised they don't have is there own avatar model afterall they serve the laughing god and we know he's still alive so surely he can create avatars of his own like khaines and the yncarne it just makes sense to me personally
Catachan models refresh would be a thing I like to see happen. This is a faction that needs it soon. New camo patterns painted Catachans guardsmen in a future Codex showcase pages.
I reckon Inquisitor armies will have Brood Brothers like rules for including DW and Grey Knights rather than fully rolling them in

I think GW withholding some of release like Tyranids' KEQ unit, and some critters unit and Votann's vehicles because of "reasons" they can't share, be it didn't met the sales expectations or simply they don't have enough production time and/or resources. Yeah it sucks but its fully understandable
If daemons are coming out of the Chaos Marine codex, then Word Bearers need a stand alone codex.
Catachans would be amazing. My old resin catachan painted baneblade needs friends! I got the baneblade back when you had to win a raffle to get the option to purchase one in store when it was first released.
Honestly for Mechanicum, I am hoping that we get the ability to play them in 40k. Would make sense since at the moment Cohort Cybernetica only has one unit for the detachment, but that is a longshot since GW is not eager to give us 30k units.
Not gonna happen due to their stupid cross department competition. 30k Mechanicum kits being sold for 40k will eat into 40ks department sales
GW just legend a whole group of stormcast, feral orruks and whole chaos army with beastmen so I think anything is possible with the demons being merged with their god book.

Except this would absolutely suck for Daemons players who have collected a mix over the years and don't play any flavour of CSM

I would be very happy with the demons codex combined with their relevant faction, but emperors children need to be released first.
Hoping we at least get a few things when the new Votann codex gets released. A character based on a novel, jump pack troops, and a tank or dread type of unit.
It would make sense to have a codex for each chaos god with different detachments for either CSM chapters or Daemons rather than making a single codex exclusively for daemons with barely any coherence in the army

I get where Weshammer is coming from, I think both in lore and models Xenos could use a bit more love. So far I think the necrons and tyranids are doing alright, and the new Kroot is super cool. I think some new eldar models are needed, like some new harlequin or exodites would be sick. There are other species in the Tau empire, not just Kroot. I think the vespids could get new models, and I also think some of the other alien species could use some models. It would be so cool to use the tau like the covenant from Halo. A ton of alien species on the battlefield fighting the Imperium! Likewise when it comes to lore, the leagues of Votann have absolutely nothing. So I think some changes can be made. But I don’t think it hurts to recognize the Imperium and Space marines are the figure heads and main characters of the setting.
It would make sense for them to separate out the demons into each faction codex, with the base Chaos Space Marines also doubling as Chaos Undivided. And at the end of the day if they are bringing out Emperor's Children then the number of codexs technically doesn't drop as they're just replacing Chaos Daemons with Emperor's Children. The only thing is they would technically have to start with the Emperor's Children, because if we see it in any of the other codexes we would know what's going on and it would spoil the reveal.

I think the dark eldar do need a big named centerpiece model. I propose the Drukhari flesh crafters have got hold of something a while ago that they've been working on and they're ready to unleash it. They got hold of the remains of Conrad Kurze and they've enhanced him and awoken his body and instincts, if not his mind entirely. Personality wise, he's a much better fit for the dark eldar and a constant quest to get him more human skin to keep grafting onto his primarch organs would be so interesting and grim and fitting.
Harlequins you could so a Great Harlequin, above the troup master, you couls do harlequin wraithlords( they had them before armed with dCannons), you could do a mid range gun army, you couls do the gaurdians of the black library

A Custodes Killteam would be cool at least. I think they’re still one of the only factions not to have gotten one for the game they’re a part of.

It's really ironic that DW hasn't gotten a Kill team box yet, since they literally run kill teams and that's where the phrase came from
Yeah, back in the 90's even though I wasn't interested in collecting Imperial Guard, seeing the tons of different factions in White Dwarf, I loved seeing the models and reading about them.
Aeldari wave 2 would be much appreciated. By end of year perhaps?
Updated Warp Spiders, killteam Hawks, Asurmen and even Dires would be fantastic. I think it’s likely they’ll get a new unit too as that’s usually the norm. Perhaps a warp spider Phoenix lord? No idea, but a boy can dream.
We need Fire Dragons too.

if you remember back in 8th they did the chrismas battleforces and gave imperial fists an upgrade sprue ahead of everyone else, IMHO thats what the nightlords are

I started up Drukhari late 9th. Several models were no longer in production. And in 10th the datasheets are there, but the models no longer exist. Gives me hope for a new Court of the Archon, Beast Master, Grotesques, etc.
Votann are not imperium. And we have a book coming, we’re just waiting for it smh. But the kill team was really awesome so I’m happy

I would love some more Xenos armies, a franchise set in a futuristic universe could do with some variety. Eldar would be great to refresh some of the older models too.
AOS does split the chaos gods into individual factions, it's just they don't have chaos marine equivalents to tag along.

I'm hoping we get some cool new models for my Imperial Guard and Votaan. Will it give me more to paint? Yes but ya know, sacrifices need to be made. Any word on new tanks for the Leagues or Guard?

The Mordian Iron Guard shall return detached to the tenth legion. Where they are going isn't codex complaint. Resistance is futile, compliance is obligatory.
The Daemons whispers seems about right it would make sense to put them in the Chaos god chapters of space marines because I dont think GW could think of enough detachment ideas for each of them so filling a spot with a daemon detachment doesnt surprise me. plus aligns with the new Daemon prince rules giving shadow of warp aura
For Harlequins, you could do a model for Sylandri Veilwalker as their big unit. If you know the history of her then you'd know she's had some pretty god-tier abilities.
Otherwise you could take inspiration from the Dawn of War mod for Harlequins and do a Spirit Walker (basically a Cegorach avatar).
Couple things I’d like to see for Drukhari
Vect in a Silent King style model.
Jagatai Khan turned into a massive pain engine. New way to return a primarch.
What they could do for vect would be to give him a bigger boat which could also double as a anothoer superheavy with the kit options

IG should really have gotten 1-2 universal bodies that can have upgrade sprues with different heads so that GW could have many different regiments without having hundreds of different kits.
World eaters only got 5 kits on release, they will 100% get a second wave this edition. I'd bet my WE army on it

OK Val, you asked about Harlequins (7:44)...... At present, it's a very limited range (only a single Troupe Players box available as the only Battleline unit option). This isn't necessarily a bad thing BUT it sucks that they've been given the generic "Harlequins Weapons" on their datasheet which kills the flavour of the different weapon options (similar to Vanguard Veterans having their various weapon options narrowed into a single profile). However, I think this can be resolved with a few tweaks to the datasheet.
As for new Harlies units, giving us Mimes would be amazing (make them fragile deep-strikers, could be similar to Drukhari Mandrakes, maybe?)
Also, the main Harlequin HQ (the Troupe Master) is just an additional mini in the Troupe Players box. If that was given a stand-alone mini it would REALLY stand out as a unique Character.
Similarly, having a Troupe Master on Bike would give an option to add to the Starweaver bikes that are already available.
I think these are relatively small asks which could give Harlequins a nice extra bit of variation to their play (I guess you could class them as another Aspect Warrior-type option to give to the Aeldari).
If you REALLY want to give them a super-heavy option..... An Avatar of Cegorach would be wild 🤯

I’m fine with the Daemons being mixed with their Chaos Legion as it makes sense. Personally I wish we could have Legion themed Havocs and Raptors for the aligned Legions

That said, I would love to see Templar specific terminators but that’s never been a thing before

@@timunderbakke8756 We weren’t referring to a refresh for them, but the fact they are still due a supplement this edition. Model wise, would probably only expect them to probably gain a new non-named character model.
Hoping with the new mega factory GW have built that they're able to do more releases at once or within shorter intervals so more factions can have their spotlight.

Because if they do it now? Where does Be’lakor go? They’d either boot him to legends which is a shit idea, because he’s expensive af and still kinda new in GW terms. Plus they don’t like to dish out free rules mid edition..
Whereas, if they do it in eleventh, they can add Be’lakor into the chaos marine codex, because they’re relatively undivided too and then divide up the rest of the daemons on god lines.

I think the issue with rolling demons into Chaos God books is Be'Lakor. In AoS he is in the Slaves to Darkness rules (Generic Chaos) so he should have been in CSM with a detachment dedicated to following him similar to Vashtorr. They could always do a digital update but that feels shitty. As a World Eater player I would love them to roll up all things Khorne as a Demonkin book.
Daemons being split up is gonna be good in the long run (really fixes the issue of the daemons being 4 different armies smooshed together) but i do hope they give us some way to play mixed god daemons still (also bel'lakor is kinda an issue still as well as he's kinda left in the dust at that point).
They could probably just add Belakor into each of the Legion codices, as well as CSM's
Dark Eldar need Lady Malys as a model. She's just too damn cool in the lore to not have one. As for Vect, if I was GW I'd release a plastic update of the Tantalus as a model and make Vect's Dias of Destruction a Tantalus option as a sweetener in the box.
The death guard character will be the lord of poxes. The teaser article will say he is some ultra badass enemy debuff unit but when the rules actually come out all he will do is count Contagion range as 1 round higher and give enemies -1 to battleshock test
For death guard all I could hope for is a vorx model.
you fergot to mention imperial & chaos knights, i assume cos no mention means nothing, but of all factions you missed them.
while no new custodiens in 40K, what about a HH refresh given they are allowed to be used in 40K (cos lets face it plastic versions of the dreadnoughts and the grav-tank will be a huge win)

As a Custodes player I know were probably not getting anything more, but the news of future kill teams being flying units does make me wish for Plastic Venetari as a kill team in future,
If GW does come out with Krieg this will set a bar for future editions, and Im sure GW is well aware of that. Im betting on Katachan next edition as they are one of few remaining regiments still sold by GW. Funny youre hearing about a Trazyn model when that special editon Infinite and the Divine book has not been seen since the black library preview which has gotten me curious if theyll release both together. Also Im glad they could be getting rid of the Demons codex. There isnt a need for one anymore. Splitting all that up reduces the codex number, thats one less book, one less set of rules, less production, and bulks out the chaos factions a bit more. After all, GW's goal has been to slim down the IP and thats one way to do it. They did it with AoS so 40k is not immune. Its how feel about the Agents of the Imperium codex. It combines several things together to reduce production and valuable time, as I assume it will replace the Deathwatch codex

I have been playing deamons for a very long time, I would be very unhappy if I had to split up my army into 4 new ones....
They should just do 4 different regiments troop boxes that also come with a tank commander

My 8th Edition Codex for Thousand Sons had a good amount of Tzeentch Daemons, horrors, Screamer, Flamers, etc.. I personally think we should have Chaos God-Marines specific alliance within the Codex's. Because World Eaters get Khorne Blessing, but the Khorne Blessing does help out Khorne Daemon....?.... \_😐_/
I admit if daemons went 'per codex' I'd be disappointed. I love my Daemons. They're hilarious on the field, Greater Daemons are glorious models and the Soulgrinder got me into collecting them way back for 5th edition.
valrak wat about BT chapter are they getting any new model in characters or upgraded models bit like dark angles/other chapters but yeh u forgot say they name in video.
Playtesting for EC is wrapping up. Should see them in about a year
