The amount of work that went into this project was crazy. I wanted as much detail within these videos as I could for those actually considering dropping their F Series which is why I split the videos up. The next video will be out soon! Stay tuned everyone! (WATCH THE LAST 30 SECONDS FOR A SNEAK PEAK!)
I got a 1967 F-100 short box im building with my dad im 15 any suggestions im building a ford 390 Fe and It will have a Dana 60 with a posi in it and a automatic transmission I just need to get a cab corner re done because the driver side rusted out same with both doors it was a ranger package which I plan to keep most of on the truck any ideas.
Honestly to just know how far you’ve come from the beginning is just awesome to see AMAZING PROGRESS with the truck and I hope to see the rest coming soon...KEEP IT UP!!!
Hey just give you a heads up you you need to buy a shorter set of shocks if you hit a bump you're going to get crazy bump steer and it will make the vehicle ride a lot better
The same way i lowered my 1990 f150 a grinder, a stick welder, and some old well pipe casing for the notch been running it for almost 2 years that way and its still strong. Cant wait to see yours after you get that vic swap done!
Man can’t wait to see it all going back together in time to make the show! Nice trick with the brake cables I will definitely be using that next time! Also tag looks right at home on there!
Cut 1.5 coils out of my 69 camper special and pulled a couple leafs in the rear, sat raked and drove great still. Prob could have used shorter shocks like mentioned before
Just found this video because im beginning work on my 67 F100. Then I heard you mention Bartle Skeets, and then I saw you have the exact same ford racing tag on the front as I do. Its fucking destiny. Subbed. Looking forward to watching many more videos.
I did the JDM drop I beams and lowering shackle and front leaf spring perch while I was at it I also swapped out to 76 disc brakes in the front Direct bolt-on love your videos keep up the good work
I have a 69 f100 and want to do this to it, did you bend the beams? And if I just place the leaf springs under the rear end only and not do C notch cutting how much coil should I cut off the front?
I'd love to know what the ride height was before you lowered it, and hopefully the ride height after? You really got me geared up to do the same to my 69 short box!
If she didn't ride like a buck board before. It will now 😂😂 my friend did this and oh ma goodness you felt the road lmao. But our backs are young so 🤷♂️
My f100 is about as tall as yours but it's a longbed so it doesn't look too bad. I also may end up doing a 4x4 conversion at some point so I'm going to leave it. That being said, I'd love to get a slammed shortbed just like yours. Mine's a 78 as well so it's a bit uglier than your truck
dang poor f100 guys with i beam front suspension and leaf spring rear on my c10 its double wishbone front and coil rear so you just cut all of them or get a cheap lowering spring for all 4 corners
So whoever told you to completely flip the rear end was messing with you. The truck would drive in reverse. Love the build. Your channel(and this truck) have caused me to search Craigslist pretty much non stop. Lowering it was life changing. Looks amazing
@@areess6209 in the video he talks about not just putting the axle above the spring but also flipping it upside down so that the locating pin would fit in the perch on the axle tube, this would cause the vehicle to go reverse when in drive.

Thecraig909 whats up with the ecoboost emblem on the tailgate lol. did you get bored and just stick it on there or are you planing for a turbo setup?
I stayed to the end and that looks really good

Looks great, don't let the negative comments affect you. It's built for your pleasure not ours. You just give us the privilege of watching. ✌
Appreciate the kind words Adam!
12 point deep socket to remove brake cable.
I was sad Roadkill got taken off UA-cam, but now I have this!
Honestly to just know how far you’ve come from the beginning is just awesome to see AMAZING PROGRESS with the truck and I hope to see the rest coming soon...KEEP IT UP!!!
That parking cable removal trick is handy, thanks.
Better release part 2 already 😤
I’m done watching part one I need more
Hey just give you a heads up you you need to buy a shorter set of shocks if you hit a bump you're going to get crazy bump steer and it will make the vehicle ride a lot better
Thank god its not to low.Looks pritty good. It's not dragging frame and ant on 22s so I like it
levi woodring agreed 100%
can’t wait to see the finished product!
That looks so sick. It looks better than I even imagined it would.
am wondering if u consider changing the rear or all 4 to disc brake's........????
This is awesome, the truck is amazing!!! Great video dude!
The same way i lowered my 1990 f150 a grinder, a stick welder, and some old well pipe casing for the notch been running it for almost 2 years that way and its still strong. Cant wait to see yours after you get that vic swap done!
That trick with the break cable was a great idea thanks for the great video
Man can’t wait to see it all going back together in time to make the show! Nice trick with the brake cables I will definitely be using that next time! Also tag looks right at home on there!
Looks awesome! Might have to do this to my f-100.
Not sure what it is, but 2wd trucks look so good lowered. It'll look sharp man.
Cut 1.5 coils out of my 69 camper special and pulled a couple leafs in the rear, sat raked and drove great still. Prob could have used shorter shocks like mentioned before
What size cooper tires you run. Those are bad ass. Love the steelies!!!!!

If you flip the axle left to right, right to left forward will be reverse and reverse is forward.
@@classicstangbrn8964 think about it,....
I love your Roadkill approach "We have somewhere to be on saturday, its Wednsday, and we're tearing the suspension out"
That looks freaking awesome Craig!!!!
Thank you for that spoiler!!!! I was dying to see how it came out, and man that shit looks hard my boy you guys did a good job.
Looking good what size was the nut for the front sprint at the bottom
Spring
Looks awesome man! Good luck with finals soon
I did the JDM drop I beams and lowering shackle and front leaf spring perch while I was at it I also swapped out to 76 disc brakes in the front Direct bolt-on love your videos keep up the good work
DJM not JDM
I was thinking if you can make a disc brake conversion on your truck.
I like them stock height but dropped looks good too
Looks friggin sick man. I love it.
That looks way better!!👍🏼👍🏼
sweet trick to getting the e brake cables out. truck looks amazing
I have a 69 f100 and want to do this to it, did you bend the beams? And if I just place the leaf springs under the rear end only and not do C notch cutting how much coil should I cut off the front?
Great tip using the fuel line clamp on the E brake cable.
Cool. I would drop the front just a wee bit more IMHO.
Finally the way it should be bro
It looks nice 👍 i did the same to my spring and the back just took off one leafspring
This is what we have been waiting for 💯
It looks awesome lowered good job.
Great move! We love a good slammed classic truck over on our channel.
Very impressed by this video dude. Keep it up!
I like the eco-boost decal 👍
While you're at it, why not put on a disc brake conversion on the front?
That looks awesome, does anyone know of a shop or some one that can do the lowering on my 74 f100
That giddiness he gets at 4:47 brings a smile to my face
It was an incredible moment
Hey Craig did you make it the Fabulous Fords?
I did this to the front of my f100. It still drives really nice!
Congratulations you’ve caught the lowered truck bug, things will only go down from here😁
Now it's really lookin like a hot rod. Looks friggin sweet
Dropping my 68 GMC this summer great video and man that looks soooo good
I'd love to know what the ride height was before you lowered it, and hopefully the ride height after? You really got me geared up to do the same to my 69 short box!
What happened to the Crown Vic frame?? Thought you was going to make this truck awesome with a Crown Vic frame.
What size wheels and tyres are you running?
Yes love it craig!
Awsome vid bro!
im redoing my engine bay and motor right now but this may have to be next!
Would this same technique work for a dodge d100???
Klarence P42013
I would assume anything with a frame lol
that thing looks badass
I thought youwere doing the crown vic front end?
Jacob Shelton I did too
Do you think this would work on a 1977?
wish we had video cameras when i was young doing this..
That’s funny my 1970 f100 set about like at 5:30 (profile picture)
you should make the wheels fit flush
That Eco Boost emblem got me 😂
You'll need a matching duel cab long bed to tow that rig!😂👌
Check my latest video hahahaha
Now you just need some wide johnnys to fill out those fenders!
Aye UA-cam recommendations working decent today
Looks good!
I have a 1972 Gran Torino sport! I’d also love to have that galaxy!!!!
Stepdad just backed in to my truck.....its the one on my profile picture.
O man this job looks like some intensive work but the pay off looks sooo good it’s worth it👌 dam she’s sitting low and slow now lol.
EcoBoost on the tailgate priceless lol
Awe man dude. I cant believe you did that. The truck was awesome before it was dropped
Looks AWESOME
Power wagon and ram charger were r they that
Fucking awesome my dude, love it, can't wait for the other parts
Welcome to the pain of slamming brother!
awesome bro 👍
I had to have my drive shaft cut after flipping the axel. You might have to do that.
Looks great
I loved it how it was though. Dadgum
Now you need new ball joints and a front end alignment.
If you literally flip the axle all your drive gears would be reversed and reverse would be forward
Looks good
I’m in 7k so far for my 60 f100 ifs front 4 link rear coil overs. Under $100 sounds good.
Where is the crown Vic frame
If she didn't ride like a buck board before. It will now 😂😂 my friend did this and oh ma goodness you felt the road lmao. But our backs are young so 🤷♂️
I thought you were going to Crown Vic front end.
I thought you where doing a frame swap
Ugh drop tease! I'd have watched the whole video.
We just got done fixing my bed on her 20 min ago man!
Love the eco boost sticker lmao
dang poor f100 guys with i beam front suspension and leaf spring rear on my c10 its double wishbone front and coil rear so you just cut all of them or get a cheap lowering spring for all 4 corners
But but I like movies Craig lol the truck is going to look fucking awesome
Good video as always
So whoever told you to completely flip the rear end was messing with you. The truck would drive in reverse. Love the build. Your channel(and this truck) have caused me to search Craigslist pretty much non stop. Lowering it was life changing. Looks amazing
Flipping the axle means putting the axle on top of the springs instead of under the springs....
@@areess6209 in the video he talks about not just putting the axle above the spring but also flipping it upside down so that the locating pin would fit in the perch on the axle tube, this would cause the vehicle to go reverse when in drive.
Seriously???? Yeah that wouldn't work. I'm digging around trying to find out how to lower the front of a 67 f100.
5:58 eco boost
Sweet
Sean looks like khabib nurmagomedov
