I'd love to have a Mustang again. I've had about 5 of them 2 of which were S550 GT's. I could have replaced one that I had, but I ended up paying off debt instead. Ended up buying a 2006 Chrysler 300C 5.7 as a project (engine rebuild) and completed it. I really miss having a Mustang though. Might try to find a foxbody and coyote swap it. Idk.

Alex, if it won’t go into first gear, don’t force it in. Apply slight pressure and ease up on the clutch pedal just a little and it should go in without banging the dogs. Double clutching is helpful like others mentioned, but isn’t absolutely necessary. You can unload the shifter by easing off the throttle, then disengage the clutch as soon as you’re about to pull it into the next gear. Or you can shift without the clutch like you yourself demonstrated. Omg absolutely not. That is a horrible idea. You need all the tire you can get on a car with this power if you wanna use any of it at all on the street. 20s aren't gonna cut it. It looks sick as is.

Throttle body tuning is a lot of work to get it proper you of all people I’m sure understand.

My turbo c5z is nearly done and I actually miss driving the faceplated t56 in it. Can’t wait to see the Shelby make a lick

What sticky tires are you going to run on the street now that you have a manual transmission
To reduce going into first gear clunk from a stop, go into second, then first.
Double chuch on the upshift will get rid of alot the clunk too.
+1 with double-clutching on upshifts during normal street driving.

Yea I don't like that at all. You can go fast with syncros too especially when you can drive good like he does. My guess is he ends up with syncros.
