I just commented to my nail tech tonight that I don’t know how I did all I did when my children were young! Hang in there. I’m 67 years old and my children are adults. Time flies by. ❤

So funny you say that, my relatives keep saying the same thing. "I don't know how I did it". I think the stage of having very young kids is just survival and often ends up being a bit of a blur.

LOVE this video! Great editing, honest and vulnerable content, useful. I think not having background music made a good difference.

I am a teacher and I have a counselor/therapist I can call and talk with. After my son was born I went back working 40 hours a week outside home when he was 14 weeks. That was hard! He’s 22 in college and well adjusted though!

Everything you talked about is so real!! Going back to work after both my girls was so difficult, and I am in the office 4 days, remote one day. Luckily I have a private office so I just closed the door to pump, but I did my fair share of zoom meetings while pumping as well 😅
I am interviewing for another job right now which is mostly remote and I’m hoping I get it because I think the work life balance is so much better not having to go to the office- especially with small kids. Thanks for sharing your experience, it’s always good to know that there are so many of us working moms out there just trying to survive!!

I feel for you, being in the office adds a whole extra level of complexity! Oh I hope you get it, because the work from home in my opinion really makes a difference! Wishing you all the best 💗

Sophie, I have been where you are right now. While you are an extremely competent high-energy person, there is a limit to doing everything for everyone in your life until you crack & burn out. That is difficult!! Maybe daddy can dress the boys in the AM, empty dishwashers, give Owen a healthy snack so Owen doesn't wonder why supper isn't on the table. At minimum, it will help Owen learn we just don't get all we want when we want it. You & Jim are a team. None of this is any of my business but I know how hard this is. When Jim dresses Owen for the day it is not the time to criticize that the child is wearing two different shoes, etc. I'm so glad you are using Better Health!! I'm certain you will work this out & I will have you In my prayers 😀

Really good points, he usually takes Owen in the morning when he wakes up but getting dressed is always a challenge (toddlers haha)! You are so right about teaching patience though, it goes a long way!

    Hi Sophie, great video!
What milk frother do you use? Looks pretty big and perfect for hot chocolates. 😊

Dump both kids on Jim…..not a good way to feel about having Dad be in charge of his children.
