Wonderful, what a great hunt for you Leander, Rusty some brilliant guiding, there have been many memorable hunts from John X but this one is up there with the best of them, that buffalo charge was something else indeed, every animal harvested was magnificent, I take my hat off to everyone concerned, thanks for sharing this great hunt with us all.
@@JohnXSafarisExperienceHi so if you want to leave with your meat and go make your sausages, burgers, biltong etc what is the normal procedure owr it can also be done on-site? Except biltong. Cos man I only want to eat venison meat until Jesus come back .
The buffalo charge was fantastic! Rusty truly is a fine example of a professional hunter. 13 steps should be the theme for your yearbook. Great job all! John X.... The best there is.
@@garyarcher9213 Learn to type. How about I pay for you to go to the bush unarmed and you can tell us if the "dopey" things just stand there? Methinks you won't have much to say after they put what's left of you in a paper sack. Asshat.
It wasn’t a cape buff I was referring to but a cross bred Brahma that had escaped roundup from a cattle station and the dopey bastards are nothing like cape. Iff slaughter in a private killing farm
That’s one beefy skinning setup but I suppose it has to be. I love watching the skinning process, too bad it goes so fast. Those guys really know that job well
That buffalo charge had my heart pounding and that is watching through a screen. Awesome shooting in the whole video and Rusty is one heck of a great PH
Not so much of a charge as a stumble and crash. Every time he got up he took 2 or 3 rds and fell down. Got up, got shot, repeat. Took 7 rounds in the last encounter, 9 total. He sure was an angry, determined dugga boy.
Wow what a safari. I'd have to save my pennies for a long time to be able to afford that. What rifles was Leander using for the plains game? (I'm guessing at 300 win mag.) I'm assuming a 375 or 416 for the Buff.
@@JohnXSafarisExperience Thank you. Interesting. My second guess would have been a 7mm RM (pretty close). Must have increased the twist rate to about 1in9 to stabilise a 180 gr
Another thing, your Hunter is a great shot at those distances. I at least the video shows some amazing shot placements. The PH is amazing too. I would have peed my pants putting down that buffalo in the thicket! So dangerous and he didn't break a sweat!
The hunt and kill of the Cape Buffalo was tense to watch on the video. I can only imagine the adrenaline, the smells, the sounds, and the clarity of each moment starting from the first shot and ending with the fusillade that finally brought it down. The buffalo alone would have been enough of a hunt to warrant the label of "a perfect John X Safaris trip", but I guess one should make hay while the sun shines. Well done to both the hunter and PH for the successful trip of a lifetime. May you have the opportunity for others with the John X Safaris team.
You talk shit I have in in the past I have lived in the bush with long grass people When the population of the territory was less than fifty thousand when the sky was black with magpie geese very few crocs heaps buff very few dopey cattle that just stood there and let you slaughter them . Next you will be trophy hunting in enclosed parks in Africa Big game hunter my arse
Further more the cross bred domestic bull is called a Myall and they sell for about twelve hundred on the hoof to be exported. I was not talking about cape buffs that are fenced in a killing park

Best Safari I've ever watched! That buffalo was amazing plus I've never seen many of the animal you harvested! Spot on!
The best videos... Keep them coming...
Probably the best entrance to The Dugga Boy Club that i`ve seen on this channel yet!
What a rush that must have been...
It was proper! Relieved all were safe and sound!

Intense buffalo charge!
A seriously angry bovine!
It just shows why they are known as one of the most dangerous animals on the African continent!
