I feel like I'm 7 years old again watching this. This show is a perfect example of the last great british youth culture. Nothing beats late 80s- early 90s dance music and Normski was a such a great choice of presenter. This was on at something like 6:30 on a weekday evening! You would NEVER get that now Media and television doesn't care about youth culture any more
My love for dance music was represented in this show.great actually have a show that was for us.a young mulicultural great britain.big up your self.take that bigots.
MisT OldSkool I'm still out there.. feeling rough today.. 41 nxt June.. I forgot about this comment haha.. hope you are doing ok miss T. Keep them wheels rollin chick and never stop x

And, in my next life, I want to wear a catsuit like the Bassheads' vocalist (I will be a better exerciser & eater in my next life) (she has great hair, too)
Would you prefer "Drill"?..grime was the last true bastion of our "HOME GROWN TALENT!"..and if you know where and how the drill "project" emerged..you may give credit to all the young pioneers who made a certain country "fall back" and appreciate London..I 🇬🇧
just an fyi to everyone -- if you've made an appearance on the show, you can apply to receive a copy of the series from the BBC by e-mailing them. might be the only way to get all the episodes back!
Grand Puba, a mention of Large Pro and Main Source, Rave culture and the VO presenter saying :crazy large" all in the same show? The 90s was off on one yet didn't suffer from political correctness - hence the bit with Kylie Minogue and two black presenters racially stereotyping Japanese martial arts with Chinese accents at 27:56. Bring back the 90s!
DidCharlyKillRave yeah I think it's 92, lose control was 92, that was one of the best years for breakbeat hardcore....before the split jungle/hardcore in 93
peace have you got stuff like Get Up Stand Up (Channel 4) The A Force (BBC) Blouse and Skirt (BBC) Club Class (Channel 5) The Family (Channel 4) desperately seeking full episodes, maybe even to upload to arhive.org in order to by pass the nonsence
