It's so obvious that the yard is a happy place for you. Sorry that you've been under the weather, but I'm glad you got to visit with your sister and her friend.
Still catching up .. 😅 It´s actually better to water the plants less often and then soak them (once a week - even less when it´s not super hot. Just look at them to find out if they need water). This way they spread their roots to find water. And especially Lavender likes it dry! Mine is looking sad because of all the rain we are having! Of course it´s different for plants in pots. Hugs!
Hope you are feeling better! Meant to tell you I saw my lowes has wheel barrel handles - 3 types from $20-25. I was looking under garden tools for some items for me and saw them listed. Who knew?! 🌸🌻🌷
🍅 I'm not the biggest tomato fan so I can't imagine enjoying that scent. I have some Thieves cleaner concentrate and my daughter says it smells like ketchup when I mix it halfway with vinegar so I think I'll just use water next time.
Hope you are feeling much better. I love my Grove Collaborative but can’t do the grass scent - I am allergic to grass. Currently, I am loving Daisy and my go to is Lavender. And thanks for the recipe. I will try it one night.
Glad you are feeling a little better and able to enjoy your plants. Also that you got your have dinner with your sister. To keep your roses from getting nibbled at by the deer, try taking tumble dryer sheets (choose ones with a strong non-flower scent) and spray them with a really good mist of either mint mouthwash or peppermint oil spray, then tuck them around the base of your rose bushes. As the bushes grow taller, you can tie the sheets to stakes and place them as near as possible to the taller parts of the bushes too. This often works because, as you already know deer hate a very strong smell of mint. Alternatively, you can purchase Animal deterrent sprays based on aluminium ammonium sulphate such as ‘Vitax Stay Off’, or calcium chloride such as ‘Grazers G1’. These can discourage deer, but you have to keep re-applying them throughout spring and summer to keep pace with new plant growth. Regards household cleaners I don’t have grove collaborative products, but I love the scents clean cotton, fresh rain and cut grass. Personally, I’m not keen on most artificial floral scents as they tend to be too strong.
So Happy to see you feeling better, all that yard work you been doing looks great!

Great tip!
But instead of the dryer sheet I’d maybe try an old short cut to pieces?
rain and hail storm on Sunday here! I put my pink and white geraniums after it passed.
Oh goodness! I’m glad all is well now! 😳🙏🏽
I remember your saying that your arthritis was flaring up…But it was the prequel to stomach flu! 😪🫤🙁
It at least it went away with the flu! ❤️
