Omg thank you for this video thinking of stopping before my baby turns 1.. But omg Idk if i can so sad
I need this ! Can’t wait to watch . Going back to work , baby is now 6 months .
Wishing you all the best! 😊
My almost 11 month baby is starting to wean himself something that didn’t happen with my other daughters. He would latch and suck 2 or 3 times and wants to go to play. And since he is my last baby I have been feeling so sad 😭 But I am having so many hormonal problems that at the same time I’m glad is happening this easy!
Thank you so much for this video, it’s super helpful! ☺️ I was soooo lost on how to gently wean my baby boy
Glad it was helpful! 😊
My son is 18 months old. He won’t sleep without being breast fed to sleep and he still has milk through out the day I think mostly for comfort because he eats lots of different food. I want to stop but argh I literally don’t know where to begin 😭
Jade is the same way too. I’ve been able to slowly drop daytime feedings but she’s still super attached for comfort at night.
Good tips jut one thing I would add. I'm a mom of four the first three stopped breastfeeding at totally different times. The first and the third weaned themselves (13 and 22 months) and I had to wean the second (at 13 months) because of some medication I had to take then. The fourth has just turned 2 and still breasfeeds. Every family is different every mom and child is different as you said in the video there can be many reasons why someone stops breastfeeding. But when you start the process you have to mean it because your baby/child can feel if you're still hesitant and it makes the process harder for them. Be gentle be slow but be determined and your child will feel what you want and you will do this together :)
I’m still currently exclusively breastfeeding my 3 yr old and it’s been extremely exhausting on my body these past 3 years… specially now that I recently found out I’m pregnant, my breasts have been swore and breastfeeding has become really painful 😣 screamingg for help lol I tried to get her off a couple of times but she throws a tantrum and just won’t sleep at all like literally all night and even morning until I breastfeed. It’s only nighttime feeding but I still can’t get her off since she’s only able to go to sleep with breastfeeding.
Thank you for this video!! Very helpful i am trying to wean my baby from breastfeeding and its so hard she is very attached its also very emotionally hard. 🥺
Glad to hear it was helpful. Completely understand all your emotions! 💛
Thank you my baby is also 14 months and currently only nurses during nap and bedtime. I’m ready to stop but he just seems to look for the boob a lot I have to distract him but then I get a tantrum, definitely harder this time around. My first weaned himself off the boob.
I’m currently 8 weeks pregnant and I’m cutting off on feedings with my 13 month old. It’s so hard on me emotionally.
Congrats and I completely understand. Wishing you all the best 💛
I stopped busting my son at 20 weeks pregnant when my son was also 20 months old. It was so hard on me emotionally but it definitely gets better and it was nice having a break before my new baby was born.
