Eritrean Orthodox Church

This video shows a dawn ceremony from a visit I made to the Eritrean Orthodox Church of Kidus Michael in Adi Keih / Keyh / Caih in 2007. Several aspects of the stunning ceremony can be seen, such as the reading of an ancient Ge'ez bible by my friend Isias, who was a scholar of the ancient language, the burning of incense and the amazing final dance performed towards the end of the ceremony, which lasted 4 hours. It was a magical experience. I can't remember if this was a special ceremony or a typical Sunday morning - any input would be gratefully received.
