I forgot to mention in the video that the complete list of what I include in the Kit is listed in the Description Box!! Make sure to share anything else you would add to the TSA Friendly First Aid Kit 😊

I was a Girl Scout also and.I guess that's why where always prepared. I pack Zinc and will take it if I've been around someone who is not feeling well. It helps me from becoming sick.

Girl Scouts for the win, LOL! I love the Zicam chewables for that extra zinc, and they're tasty 😊

I’m looking for info on packing for a trip to Ireland in May. I know layering is suggested but unsure about sweaters, shoes…any suggestions? Just found you on UA-cam and binge watching your videos ☘️❤️

They have bandages that a triple antibiotic in them. More expensive, but maybe a good hack.

Neosporin is not considered a liquid as it is part of a first aid kit, and medical items aren't subject to the same rules; BUT, rather than carry the larger tube, you can use the individual packets and if you're unsure if TSA will treat it like a liquid (we've never had an issue), just put it into your liquids bag, they're tiny and you only need one or two of them.

How do you pack your medications? Do you need to use keep it in the bottle? Seems difficult to pack all your meds if you need the pills

I keep a separate pre packed kit for my purse, flying, and car trips. They are tailored for each method of traveling. I am always on the hunt for travel size toiletries and first aid.

Great preparedness 😀. I have a pre-made one in my car for every day, but then throw my bigger one in for road trips.

    Moleskin:
You can also adhere it to the back of your shoes to avoid the formation of blisters to begin with.
Note where your heel rubs against the shoe-back and cut some Moleskin larger than that area plus another 1/2inch or more at the top. Center the Moleskin where your heel contacts the shoe-back but high enough to loop over the shoe-back's top edge; this not only holds the Moleskin in place but also ensures Moleskin over that shoe-back top edge, where blisters are most likely to start.
    Potential Shoe Problem:
If you are packing leather shoes that may cause blisters, especially if they are new shoes, take them to a shoe repair place to get them stretched. Most blisters come from shoes that are too tight; too loose can sometimes cause blisters, but adhering Moleskin will take care of that. Stretching shoes are especially important if you plan to wear socks, which will only make them tighter.
    Bandaids:
My preference is Flexible Fabric, a few in all size varieties.
I find Flexible Fabric to stick better and longer, plus you can cut them if necessary to conform to your need. Cutting small ones from the narrow end to just before the pad (both ends) makes them better to cover a fingertip cut. And if you run out of small bandaids, you can cut a larger one into multiple smaller ones.
I also carry a few Tegaderm bandages. These adhere to the skin, leaving a clear bubble over the wound. It protects aganst infectious contact while also being waterproof.
    Neosporin:
Use a contact lens case to contain all the antiseptic ointment you are likely to need; also good for antifungal cream. This reduces the weight and volume of these products and makes them easy to identify in your First Aid kit. And yes, the contact lens case still goes in the Liquids Bag.
    Pain Relievers & Supplements:
Amazon sells a nice sectioned pillbox, with labels for most of the brand name items you might carry.
The pillbox opens clamshell-style, with 5 lidded-cells for what you pack. Mine has on the right: aspirin (for headaches), ibuprofen (for muscle aches), naproxen (same as Aleve, for migraines), echinacea (for immunity boost). The left side has my supplements.
You really only have to pack what you'll need during actual travel; if you need more, you can buy it at your destination.
    Digestive Issues:
Two well-known remedies for heartburn and nausea are ginger and mint.
I take along Ginger Chews and individual-portion mint candies (I use Mento, but Certs does just as well).
    First Aid Kit Bag:
Best to store all these things (after TSA) at the least in a ziplock inside a ziplock, to handle potential leaks; just push out the extra air as much as possible.
I usually keep a portion of each item in my purse, fanny pack, or crossbody sling, in case I need them during travel.
Amazon has a silicone zippered makeup brush bag that's fairly small and adjust to any small space in your luggage. I find it makes a PERFECT mini First Aid Bag.

Yeah this makes me want to bring a first aid pack. I only bring allergy pills and ibuprofen but I should bring more. Thank you so much!

I used to not carry much, but after two times getting stuck with no Dramamine and then no cold medicine, I changed my ways, lol 😊
