Namjoon struggling dealing with fame and all its trappings, trying not to lose sight of himself while the whole world watches his every move.
The fireworks/wild flower/flower work lyric actually came from his post back in 2017 titled 불꽃놀이the Korean title of "Wild Flower," which rhymes with (firework). He said, "Perhaps in our lives we need wild flowers [ 들꽃; deulkkot]-rather than flames [불꽃; bulkkot] or cherry blossoms [ 벚꽃; beotkkot]- in bloom, tranquilly."
It's flower work because wildflowers are like fire works, they spread through the field just like how fireworks spread through the sky except Namjoon is saying he wants to live as a calm wildflower rather than a flashy quickly disappearing firework. So instead of living like fire flowers that is brilliant but would quickly disappear, namjoon would like to live more like wildflowers that are calm and tranquil. He used 불꽃 wordplay in prev work too
Him wanting a life like a tranquil wild flower instead of a flashy firework that is quick to burn out. He always paints such a personal and powerful image.
i think it’s far more than just a feel good song if you dig much deeper to the lyrics, this is how Namjoon’s and not RM’s deep raw feelings right now, remember what he said at the last Festa Dinner that after Dynamite that he doesnt know who they are anymore, it’s not him anymore and he wants to go back to making not just feel good music for everyone, he wants to do music he thinks is the the real HIM even if people might like it or not, just how i see it..
I can't stop listening to this masterpiece 💜 Everything is perfect about this song the lyrics, Rm's rap, Youjeen vocal, RM visuals, etc.
Namjoon said that Wild Flower is so precious to him and that is why it is the album title track. Listening to it and watching his interviews make me realised how much more struggles he have been facing - been a center of the storm, navigating success with so many people readily welcome your fall and at the same time trying your hardest to be true to yourself. For me wild flower is that heart wrenching song where RM pour his confession/struggles into a song. Also, RM specifically said he want youjee powerful voice to signify the intensity of his feeling. I am glad that at the end he decided to be a wildflower, that continue to bloom freely for a long time. Let’s stream indigo and show him we are here with him. 💙

Personally, I love Youjeen on the song. She added different levels of emotion to it, so I think RM made a good choice. People said the same thing when Suran was featured on Suga's song "So Far Away" , but her voice was made for that song. Of course BTS vocal line could fit any song, but I think the point of doing solo projects is creating without the other members. Just 100% RM and his ideas/choices. I love it.
Yes, he is the leader of BTS, genius, greatest songwriter, best person ever, best person before he was an artist for me, I consider him my inspiration and my favorite person in this world.
this song is so sad. its like ITS LIT, then its IS HE OKAY. then its ITS BEAUTIFUL. he wants to be a flower work not a fire work and in the sky among the stars, not a firework that goes up and dissappears and burns. a flower field (where he ends) is a field taht goes on forever.

I thought the same thing cause I was devastated hearing joon's words especially after knowing his struggles the past few years.
This is what I expected from R.M. This is a masterful piece. He does a great job in expressing his deepest feelings.

this is NOT a happy song. at least not from the lyrical/thematic standpoint.
it's a clear representation of all the pent-up feelings that Namjoon has been dealing with for a while.
it's bittersweet, and melancholic, an ode to his 20s.
RM wrote a diary to convey his innermost, dark, deep thoughts.
Fireworks and traditional fireworks are real. There are two teams working in each job.
1. The one of the great Reason why I Admire him So Much & also why he is my all tym BIAS is is great lyrics & worldplay (though all are unique in their own way, I Love them All).
2. He is Amazing, Beautiful, Smart, genuine, Kindest & honest person I Know.
3. RM has dedicated all his life achievements, work, his feelings & emotions of his worth 20s in this ALBUM. This album which took him 4 years to make, is so pure & beautiful with great lyricism by him. It contains 10 tracks.
4. This MV is such beautiful imagery with great visuals, fireworks, & ofcourse YOUJEEN's flawless vocals. Their voices blend so well...
Also this album is great as he collabed with many artists & provided his (also theirs) great work in the field..

Rm Wildflower, its like he doesn't like to be fireworks that goes up above like stars that is Burn and gone, he wants to be like a wild Flower that spreads and stay on the ground....makes sense as always RM is genius on worldpay.

idk... kinda wish u guys would go deeper into the lyrics and understand it more carefully... namjoon asked for attention to the lyrics... the meaning isn't something surface like 'inspiraton, obstacles, or i'll be back'. honestly, i thought u guys would care about the meaning more. kind of disappointed with this reaction, not gonna lie... could i suggest rewatching music videos twice to unpack the lyrics deeper in future? the key of BTS music is in their deep lyrics and layered nuances.

I totally agree another version with Jimin will be so great! But it seems so clear that they want to broaden their horizons and share their success with others such as their music colleagues and inspirations…they empower others unlike other celebrities in that they work with other musicians instead of just saying you can do it they say let’s do this together! I thought I was the only one who could see Jimin singing Youjeen's verses. That being said, Youjeen has a fabulous voice which reminds me of Katy Perry's. As for the MV and Namjoon delivery, it ripped me a new soul. This song is a masterpiece.

Maybe true that this song brings you a good vibe but I don't know.. For me, it's beautifully sad. As RM bias, me listening to this song like, - we always know that sooner or later we have to say goodbye to someone we truly love but we had been avoiding to start the conversation about break up for a while then..dang! in that bright beautiful sunny day, our loved one suddenly brought the topic, was being real n vulnerable about the relationship and we just listened to them holding our tears - kind of feeling.

@@padmasonowal4497 I agree both Youjeen and Jimin have great vocals, that said neither of them have a similar sound to each other like most people are making them out to be in this video’s comment section. Youjeen is the lead🧑🎤for a rock band 🎸called Cherry🍒Fillter and while Jimin does have a high range it still is very different to Youjeen’s voice as her range is high and powerful therefore giving it a distinct sound to her voice.
Remember all the BTS members have taken a break as a group for various reasons one of them being their mandatory military service that they all have to complete at some point and time which will take 2 years for each of them. So because of that the members have decided to do their own solo work for the time being.
So again this is a personal individual song and album💿for RM so I doubt he or any of the members would want a member of the group to feature in their music unless it’s meant to be that way. Them having the time to be soloist’s is the time for them to do things on their own without people referring to them as BTS.
