Thanks Anthony another great and timely video as was thinking about having a few beers and chocolate at Christmas. I’m also part way through your excellent body weight muscle book. You’re very inspiring and useful advice. Thank you
My main goals are to go beyond 3 pull ups without a break. After reading your book I hope in time to get to 8 in a row first and build up to 12 in a row. Thanks again your videos inspire me.
Your first point is definitely not encompassing all the people who are worried about gaining weight. I’m underweight but have gained a lot, and am scared of getting out of control and getting fat. Xmas is often stressful as there is so much focus on food. I hope this year I can just relax a bit and enjoy it.
@ I have had help thanks man. I’ve been hospitalised a few times over the years with it and have now just reached the bottom of the healthy bmi range, doing much better. But still fearful of losing control or gaining too much. My point here was that when he says the first reason people are scared of gaining weight at Xmas is cos they’re already carrying extra pounds is actually not accurate. Because often the people most scared of gaining fat are not overweight at all
@micah1754 100000%. I was 5'11 and down to 143 lbs, which is technically normal weight, but I was so severely malnourished that I had a 55 ng/dl total testosterone when the normal level is 300+. I also had oral thrush due to a compromised immune system, was always freezing cold, etc. I have since gained over 60 lbs and until being about 195-200lbs had a well-defined visible 6 pack. The key is to gain a slow and steady man. Because of how your mind works, you won't lose control, trust me. I would still say I struggle with food just in a different way now. It's a lifelong journey to overcome this shit, but I am 100% healthier now than I was simply from gaining some weight. I know it may sound scary, as it did to me, but I promise it's not worth suffering forever. Merry Christmas, my man, and I hope you enjoy the holidays with your loved ones.

What's your favorite holiday treat? Mine’s definitely melomakarona, a traditional Greek cookie I just love devouring!

Underweight and scared of getting fat? I've been there when I had an ED and that sounds like an ED man. Please seek help if you need it.
