I mean, generally what's the point of breaking out of the confines of creation when you're chaining yourself to another being. Maybe you can explain, for me so far it doesn't make that much sense.
There are different paths but entering into a pact with a demon is much more of Faust approach to power than Solomonic. Some just want the power at any cost.
Your own intuition is your guide here. It all comes down to yourself as the cause point of your existence alined with the higher force. Without the proper foundation, with further knowledge and initiation, you're not gonna get 100 percent. See this as confirmation of your own intuition. You are right. The purpose is the same as in the old times. Your comment would be amusing if it was correct. However the books by ixaxaar are extremely powerful and useful books for practioners, not to mention beautifully made, hence the outside of print prices. Nobody would pay high prices for books that were made by by drugged up heavy metal rockers as you put it. Lol. It sounds like you are pissed off that you can't afford the book otherwise you wouldn't be watching a review on it lol

The one thing in vedic astrology which has me perplexed is the idea of a imaginary planet which im associated with being ketu. I have been trying to find a answer to how this came about.

I only mention the dangers because at night I came across this video and watched it right before sleep.. Additionally many of those entities and their seals look (at first glance at least) identical to those in other High Magick grimoires, namely Goetia and Arbatel De Magia Veterum.
A lot of newer (last 200 years) used those older systems of magic to start their own workings. The influence will remain to some extent. Best part of ones personal work is branching off and treading new territory.
