I have the same graphics card as Cheeki Breeki and am gaming on a laptop as well (i7-12700H, so a smidge better than his setup). I often feel like as long as it's a laptop I'm playing on, regardless of it being a "gaming" kind of laptop, it's going to be crappy. I've more or less made my peace with it. Still, it's kind of frustrating that games aren't expected to run decently (note: "decently", not even "well" or "brilliantly") nowadays unless you have a 4080 or a 4090. I'm hoping for a performance patch from GSC like everyone else.
nah dude i just got my shit asss potato PC from nasa, they didn't need their super secret RTX 9999 anymore but damn my game runs like crap because potato pc :D
One correction, Frame Generation didn't look disgusting due to you not using the intended upscaler, you can use any and it will be fine so long as you have at the least 60 fps as a baseline before FG. It's why you saw those visual distortions and you've definitely had a ton of input lag added as well. Running it at 55 to about 60 FPS here and FG really smooths things out, it's not perfect but it is perfect playable and enjoyable.
Thanks for the corrections, that's actually good to know! Not sure i'll ever reach the 60fps baseline to fully experience it, but one can hope if we get decent optimizations in the future.
Can confirm this, Framegen "only" works for settings that already deliver at least 60fps and IMPORTANT it will EAT your VRAM. So if your card is already struggling (8gb at 1080p is already almost capped) it will make the game slower/less smooth because of constant RAM swapping.
I'll probably do a full, extensive guide at some point, but after we get a couple optimization patches, right now it's more some bandaids while waiting for them!
This is the only optimization guide, that has actually made a difference for me. Game feels better to play with less stutters, frame drops and vram shortages. NPCs still tank fps though, that's for the devs to fix.
My AMD brothers! Go into adrenaline, and turn on Frame Rate Target Control to fix the mouse input lag!! It still feels a tiny bit sluggish but its so much better. Also, in case that doesn't work on its own, I'm also in Fullscreen with ingame vsync off and enhanced sync turned on in Adrenaline. Good luck Stalkers
@@NoMusicTheory its not about the game its unreal engine 5 killing the game industry cause its a new engine and devs are not really used to it plus its demanding cause of reflection and real time shadows that we players don't even care about :) but yeah more lights and shit lmao
Out of all the guides I've looked up so far, this one was by far the best. My FPS generally stayed between 50-60 and only dipped below that when entering a new area and the first town. That being said, it's far from perfect as I still experience stutters and even when it shows I have 60 FPS, it doesn't feel like I actually do. This is something that others pointed out in their reviews prior to release and I hope the devs can put out some optimization patches ASAP.
The second optimization mod you linked in the description (the one you didn't try) comes highly recommended from many people. I saw people saying the other optimization mods did nothing for them, but that one really helped. Your mileage may vary, obviously. It seemed to give me better performance and frame times overall but slightly worse performance in Zalissya.
FSR upscaler + FSR image gen is what saved my playthrough. It gives such a generous amount of extra FPS that I needed to feel immersed. I went from 45-55 FPS on low quality, to 65-90 on medium quality. It does give some input lag, which is worse the lower your baseline FPS is (FPS before enabling FSR image gen), but I'd rather get used to playing with that than trying to feel immersed in a slideshow.
Privet Cheeki Stalker , Just here to say that Grok and his squad are already (yes now) covering stalker 2 , they got some 'must have' mods (for exemple mutant less spongebullet, mouse input lag etc) to have for quality perf and game balancing. I suppose you already now that, but theyr discord are a gold mine. See you in the zone. (P.S: Having a blast to , but sometimes , even with or without mods i got rare memory leaks, and oooooo'boi , when it's happen , i have to go back at the start menu and reload... no choice.)
Yes I've been using his lower HP mutants mod! So far that's the only thing I found necessary. I'm playing on Stalker difficulty and haven't been bothered by the economy, repair cost, carry weight etc.. I find it pretty much in line with the OG games.
@@CheekiBreekiTv Longer days is imho a must have too. First time in Zalissya when I entered the bar in the afternoon, when exiting after the little cutscene with Zatov it was almost pitch dark outside. Big immersion killer.
The only thing that can save this game is not a patch, its a miracle, never in all my life i saw a game run bad like this, developers have to learn to use unreal engine 5 properly, i swear in the latest 3 years games run worst than potato pc trying to run aaa games in the past like 20 years
My rig is a Ryzen 7800X3D system with RTX 4070 Super and 32 GB DDR5 6000. I'm running it in Epic settings at 1440p and averaging 120-145 fps when walking through the environment. Performance is great for the most part and not a single crash as of 29 hours. I'm very happy, the game is great.
I do not comment videos a lot but this one helped me a lot. I've switched to DLSS, added Steam launch options and enabled NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency and now I have pretty stable ~50-60 FPS on my laptop 4070 with very rare freezes and only in camp. and some ini files changes I've done before that are in this video also.
Thank you! I have a 3050 and after putting the game on DLSS the game looks and preforms better! I don't know how many fps I run at but it feels and looks better than FSR
Frame gen is best when working with a 60fps base on a 120hz VRR display. Native frames may dip into the 40s but it'll still feel smooth. If you can't get anywhere near a consistent 60fps, and are on a 60hz display, it's actually better to cap to 30 and frame gen up to 60, than letting the FPS run unlocked in the 20-60 range because that'll look choppy as hell. Frame delivery consistency is key.
Yeah I’m not usually a fan of frame gen because of the latency but for all the many problems Stalker 2 has right now frame gen works amazing for me in the 40-60 base FPS range on my 2080ti, 1440p high. I get around 80-100 FPS and frame times feel way smoother than without frame gen, not just higher frame rates.
Oh yeah I'm not worried, to be fair before release, looking at the min requirements, I was expecting to run the game at low/30fps (if at all), and I'm actually running medium-low at 40-50fps. It still needs a ton of optimization, but I can't complain. A-life is the biggest bummer so far, but i'll wait for the first few patches to see what happens (and if we need the pitchforks or not).
I’m running a lower end gaming laptop to yours and initially there was no issue it ran smooth at like 30/40FPS which I’m used to, but then all of a sudden I hit a barrier and the game would drop to 5FPS which made it unplayable, I couldn’t even get out of the the first bit with the scanners, I reinstalled the game last night through the xbox pass and managed to get past the first part and into the first town but it was so laggy in the first town like unplayable again, I just don’t understand 😂😂 people are saying memory leaks but a lot of people are still playing the game on a low end machine with no problems, it’s like the Microsoft pass version is super bugged compared to steam.
@@R-C-ONE Yeah I have this issue too in towns, during cinematics sometimes etc...less so with all the optimization but it still happens. Definitely a bug/leak or something. Generally pressing esc to open the main menu and wait 10-15s there solves it.
Thank you so much for your time and effort. Frames have improved a tiny bit, however the changes to the mouse input lag, acc etc is truly a game changer. guns feel so much less clunky.
I have a 3050 laptop. You have a 3060 laptop. Your game still looks super good and you get like 49 fps. Is the 3050 really that bad? Cuz my game looks like mashed potatoes and blurry as hell. Or is it just an optimisation issue. Because as bad as the 3050 might be, my laptop runs most recent games decently. What do you think?
i also have 4gb 3050 and have same issues. 3050 is still great videocard but game requires mode than 6gb vram but most of the 3050 laptops has 4 that's makes the game unplayable. My next goal is change my laptop with 8gb 4060 now but in 3rd world country it's hard as staying alive in the zone without any firearm.
@@MilvuSe yah same here sadly my 4gb card is holding me back the cheaper option for me rn is just get xbox game pass ultimate and play it from the cloud
Yeah from what I read VRAM has a huge impact on how the game performs and the 4GB difference matters a lot, especially in big openworld games. Which settings are you running your game on rn?
Hey man. great video as always. Question? What are you using to capture the frame performance? Especially the frametime and average fps. Thank you. Keep up the videos. Can't wait for a STALKER 2 Ironman run.
My man! Thanks for doing this video. My computer crashes at the complation screen with a BSOD. Been trying every which way to fix but I think it has to deal with the intel Xeon 79 chipset. I will give these tips a shot and see if I can finally play! Thanks again 😊
@ I’ve been looking but to no avail. Pretty much waiting on the patch that is coming. I believe it has something to do with DX 12 on specific chipset but can’t confirm. Try changing to dx11 and see if it can at least boot. If it can, that is good. Then just wait for patches to fix dx12.
@@kris33451 the unfortunate reality is that most games launch in a early access state nowadays, Microsoft stepping in, as good as it was, probably had alot to do with the overall state of the game, It feels like it got gutted for Xbox.
I did the same thing. I made it to the first village and I think I'm gonna chill there for a while and wait for some hot fixes. I might do some side missions or something just for kicks, but I'm not going to advance the main story until I see some improvements.
Good video, gonna try some things you mentioned. I run it capped at 38 fps with Riva, with no upscaling, at 95% render. Game feels very good, its the way I use to run OG Stalker with tons of mods in my old setup.
I actually wanted to try different settings with no upscaling to see the results but convinced myself it would be a waste of time. Care to share your settings in more details? I'm curious now!
@@CheekiBreekiTv mostly same settings as you, since my setup is a bit weak (r5 3600, 6650xt, 32gb ddr4 and HDD install). I capped at 38 because was a number I could achieve. No FG, no upscaler. Gonna fire it up right now and check in detail what setting Im using. I love you content, big fan

thanks so much for the config info. I couldn't believe the amount of input lag i was feeling, totally unplayable with frame gen even with 7900xtx,, felt like controlling a drunk character with sea sickness on a boat. this totally fixed it and made this game playable!!
Idk what's going on with FSR frame gen on your end, for me it works perfectly. The only sign I can find is toggling crouch next to a railing which leaves a heavy "ghosting" effect behind the object. Other than that I couldn't tell whether it was ON or OFF. Really the only actual issue is input lag which is unfortunately a drawback of frame gen
Good tips and did that input lag script fix some time ago, its really a good one. One another thing many people miss to do is go to Nvidia control panel, select shader cache size and select 10gb or 100gb (10gb should be enough for most people). This will drastically shorten your time caching shaders when the game starts and also improves the whole game (removing stutters etc) how it runs after this change :)
That's why I waiting for new gen of cards to upgrade my 1070 and get nice expirience from this title. Thank you, you do good for all of the people by this!
Im a 9900k and 2080ti (cutting edge 2019) and FSR has fixed the game for me so thanks. On balanced im getting a little lag but totally fine to deal with and 80-90fps in populated zones with everything set to epic.
Currently using an rtx 2060 with an i7-10700f with the correct optimization the game runs at about 112 fps for a while (about 40 minutes) before randomly dropping to 16 fps and refusing to go higher ive tried tons of fixes is there anything i can do to fix this?
My game works smooth when i load it , but after like 2-3 mins it starts lagging like crazy. After some time it again reutrns to normal and cycle continues. Anyone have a solution for this ?
my personnal problem is gpu usage which is always under 90 % (an RTX 3070ti with an i7 10700k) in my case lowering graphics doesn't change fps and stuttering issues...
dude, erm how do I say this, the second mod you have in the description is the one you want, installing it instantly removed all the input lag and almost doubled my framerate im running a desktop 3060 and I get the same frames as you with FSR FG off without the mod with the mod its in the 60s 70-s and with FSR FG its in the 90s to 120s, framegen for me isnt crazy with the framegen artifacts and I find your brain gets used to the weirdness of dark areas it kinda all melds together after a few hours and your eyes fix it automatically for you kinda like with motion blur in films
For some odd reason, if I lock my fps in in game settings to 30fps and enable the framegen i will get 60fps ingame (except for menu and pda or buying in trader etc.) And for some odd reason i dont get input lag which is weird. Execpt (again) if i got fps drop due to traversing a new area. RX6600 user here. Not sure if will work on Nvidia gpu's.
Good afternoon guys, a question: having an I7 8700 3.70GHZ + ram 32 corsaire vengeance DDR4 3200 MHZ + Nvidia 1080 TI Asus Rog 11 GB + Maiboard Rog Maximus. Can I play it? Thanks for any answers. If you want to be neighborhood friends you could also explain to me how to set the game to the best of my computer's capabilities. Thank you very much. Sorry for my English.
I use TSR, because FSR produce a lot of ghosting and noice. Though TSR has some weird visual bug. It's hard to explain but when you look closely, you can see a weird weapon outline near the crosshair (middle screen). Dont know how to explain it properly.
Hoping for the best! Stalker 2 should be done installing in a few hours.. I have a 1060 3GB so I am certainly gonna have some struggles with it. The minimum requirements show a 1060 6GB...
Getting good results on my 2070 Super with DLSS set to balanced and frame gen on. The game still stutters when entering camps, but it's pretty smooth out in the open world.
I'm so glad I upgraded my PC before playing this. Without frame generation turned on using DLSS performance, settings on High, I'm getting on average 70 fps. With frame generation on, bumps that up to over 120-140. Ryzen 9700x, 64GB RAM, 3080. The 3080 is the only part brought over from the old build.
Based on the builds I've seen others use, even with 40 series and still running into low fps, yours having a whopping 64gb ram seems to be the variable. Maybe RAM is really the bottleneck and not totally gpu despite what most might assume.
i don't use a laptop and i have no issues but i still want to say that if there was a standard for helping out people with settings, this would be the example for a lot of UA-camrs. thanks!
For us AMD boys framegen looks personally absolutely fine if you dont mind few artifacts here and there. If your option is to play on 40-50 fps without frame gen then i dont know what to say. I would rather go with framegen with slight input lag and enjoy on average 70-80 fps
Just looking for a solution for my crappy laptop with RTX 4060 :D I have huge latency which makes game very lagy and nothing helped so far. I know Stalker 2 can run much better because my desktop is performing perfectly smooth (R5 5600+RX7800XT). But I can't get below 60ms latency in Nvidia overlay. For instance, new Indiana Jones game is running well almost without any latency.
These are basically all the same changes people recommend for Tarkov and I can tell you they won't give you much improvement, not even in Nvidia control panel. It's mostly all placebo.
I have a 3070Ti and 32gb ram and I have to run the game with everything on low to get 40fps and still have a slow lagy mouse, I try improvment mod and other stuff and nothing change
The only issue I have is the temporary lag and stutters at hub areas and some POIs. Other than that, I was able to get a mostly stable 60 FPS just by running at 1280 x 720 with frame gen, TSR performance (mainly to have consistant AO shadows which TAA and the other upscalers messes up), 80 resolution scale, and have everything but textures set to low (could run actually run some settings between med-high but I just want to make sure I don't stress my system). The game still looks good despite the settings which only makes me question why the need for hi-fi graphics if you don't see too much of a practical diffirence except shadows, reflections, and foliage along with worst FPS even if you ran a supercomputer from the sound of things.
Are we gonna talk about why exactly the mouse smoothing and acceleration is not adjustable in game but is enabled by default even though every single bit of info I've seen on the game says it's awful, even my own experience? On a PC? Guess they got shellshock from the war.
both of the frame generation settings make your mouse movement feel like youre fighting against an elastic band to get your aim to go where you want. this game also struggles on higher end harware as well. got a 4060 and ryzen 9 and if i go above medium settings i get 30fps LOL. i tried both mods you mentioned before you made this video and neither seem to do anything for steam version. steam version seems to not read 'engine.ini' AT ALL !!!
so i have a 4060 gpu, amd ryzen 5 5600 6-core processor, 24gb of ram, and enough storage, and im on windows 11, and i put the game to the lowest settings with a performance mod and i get around 5 to 8 fps
I'm on Amd with a 6700xt and frame gen doesn't do that effect with frames but the input lag it's a bit too unbearable also i'm using Xess on UltraQualityPlus and it's alright with 50 fps average but 25-30 dips in major PoI. I want to point out though that using AFMF on the amd drivers (frame gen outiside the game) crashed and corrupted my drivers so i had to reinstall them, refrain from using.
I've got 3070ti but still had to switch to TSR cause only it gave me smooth frames and no lighting artifacts. With DLSS i got random bright spots shimmer on environament. With FSR i get similar shimmer but on edges of environment. And only TSR got me image that was stable and without any flicker.
THANK YOU, this game is holding most of my hard drive hostage and I haven’t been able to even run the opening scene well, let alone the game 😭 if this works I’ll post my specs and results! ✌🏼
So thanks bro work for me i have too modified engine. + STEAM Launcher Option ecc finally i got up 70/100 fps stable and my setup is Gaming Laptop with rtx 3050 4gVram 32gb Ram intel i5 11th run very quiet now Thanks again. ❤
If you have a good graphics card that can run the game, like a 4080, you should use DLAA + framgen plus the settings he shows in the video, maybe just up the texture quality. When your base framerate is between 50-70 the artifacting is not notice when new frames are generated.
I got a laptop with a 3080, tried to run it with your settings to see if i can finally get stable 60s but no, it actually runs worse than the medium/high settings i used to run. I love Stalker but omg i pray for performance updates this is so sad
Framegen works wonders, but only if you already have high fps (like above 60 at least). I have a 3080 and i tried high settings with framegen and the game felt and looked like sh*t. Lowered the settings until i found out the best combo for around 70-80 fps with dlss, then i turned on framegen and not only it doesn't look crap but also input lag is not that bad. You can still notice some weird behavior - mainly in the reflections or narrow distant objects, but i'd rather have that than lower framerate
stuck with 5 collar from a side quest that cant give me option to deliver them... think now is more of a waitting game than actualy play the game... sad.
i have a strong amd card and native with only framegen does it for me. Everything on high (textures on epic) and native 1440p gets me 60 fps. when framegen has a lot of base fps to work with and a lot of detail (no detail lost by upscaling) it works really well
Cap your fps in game, in your gpu drivers or with rivatuner. You can also look for and turn off framegen (I think it's on by default) and you should be at 60 again. (Capping fps at 60 and adding FG results in 120, as it should)
my performance became worse idk why i use rtx 3060 ti and my fps went right into the mid 30s even high 20s idk what to do tbh. Im just waiting for the devs to fix the game
bro I get you don't like fsr 3 frame gen, I weigh things on a scale and the upsides are so much better i go from 49 to 90 and cant even tell the different barely besides knowing its just ever so slightly blurry which I have to really squint to see that. that isn't worth giving up near double frames. I get its your personal opinion though :)
I have a kinda beefy pc (playing on 4k because i dont have a 1080p monitor) (3080TI, 32 gb ram and so on.. pc is 2y old now) and im playing on mid-high and textures on epic settings. Game runs fine on dlss balanced, get about 60-50 fps (without frame generation) in open world and ofc dumps on me in settelments. But funny thing is whenever i go to a complex of apartements or any other open world location with bulidngs or an abandoned village game runs smooth, so basically game still needs some fixes and optimization. With frame generation i get about 90-70 fps in open world and ofc whenever im entering a settlement i get fps dumps to 45 fps (just for a sec) then it kinda lingers in around 65 fps to 55 fps range, depends on the settlement. Also a funny thing to mention i did put all my settings on epic and used dlss quality with frame generation and it played fine but there was quite a bit of input lagg, same problems with settlements with same fps dips, also its not healthy for the graphic card to push it like that so best play it safe for now and use safe settings configuration. Also im thinking about getting a 1080p monitor so i can set higher settings but im not sure if its worth it..
I tweaked some settings on my 1650 laptop and the best for me was everything on low except AA being epic, FSR quality and with vsync on at 900p or 1080p. It gives nearly 30 to 35 fps (sometimes drops to 27s but its alright) which i clipped to 30. If it always runs like that it is i mean, playable. But after some time FPS drops to like one digit frames and turns into a slideshow until i reboot the game. i was suspecting of thermal throttle and tweaked my machine but after i saw some people with way higher rigs than me has the same problem, i think it has to be something with the optimization. I will wait for patches, hope it gets rid of that and at least makes it playable.
3:00 You have the patience of a monk to record all of these and suffer thru endless *compiling shaders*. I'm also on a 3060 mobile and I recommend framegen but you need to edit a couple things: 1) have nvidia reflex on (in-game) 2) vsync to fast, low latency mode to on or ultra, power management to maximum performance (nvidia settings). With this you should not get input lag. I also recommend Ultimate Engine Tweaks (Nexus Mods). In settings, hair always to low and global illuminatino is a big resource hog so the lower the better.
I'm taking a break from this game until the performance gets patched a bit. I have the 11th most powerful GPU that exists, and it still runs at 55fps at best with the settings up, even with DLSS Quality.
Using my i5-9600k and 3060, i run it at mostly medium, there are times it runs at 60fps no problem. But then lows to 45 or 27 at points when where is no graphical changes. The game wants to run well its just not optimised. I think the devs did this so they could release on time but had to increase the launch requirements like so. I know this example isnt the same but my system runs metro exodus on ultra RTX 1440p smoothly and its still one of the most stunning graphics ive ever seen.
Either metro exodus is the best optimized game in the world (I wouldn't know, haven't played it) or you got the luckiest silicone lottery 3060 ever. I have a 3060 12gb model with 5800x3d, 32gb ram, and there hasn't been a single game that does well with 1440p, much less with RTX AND ULTRA SETTINGS? Alright, I'm starting to think that most people simply don't know what good actually is, maybe it's true that MOST people (80%/20% rule) just don't see any improvement from 30ish-60ish fps, after that any performance improvement is lost on them. And then the 'lucky' few of us can benefit from higher refresh/fps counts... or unlucky because most games releasing now are releasing half-baked, so we only suffer from laggy, low fps experiences.
@K.S-w5s METRO has always been highly optimised (funny how Its a version of XRay engine). I remember playing Metro redux on a GT 720 and a pentium, and it ran amazing on high settings. Exodus is probably the best use if RTX to date and runs well, it even ran ultra on a 2060 I had before, but with the updated graphics last year it dipped but the 3060 handles it.

Still, it's kind of frustrating that games aren't expected to run decently (note: "decently", not even "well" or "brilliantly") nowadays unless you have a 4080 or a 4090. I'm hoping for a performance patch from GSC like everyone else.
A 3060 mobile?
nah dude i just got my shit asss potato PC from nasa, they didn't need their super secret RTX 9999 anymore but damn my game runs like crap because potato pc :D
I have a 2050 haven't been able to get it to work laptop
The input lag fix is insane. Absolute game changer thank you Cheeki
@CheekiBreekiTv That's my hope too, I'm excited to see the patches and free content roadmap they mentioned. Stalkers are eating good. :D
Can confirm this, Framegen "only" works for settings that already deliver at least 60fps and IMPORTANT it will EAT your VRAM. So if your card is already struggling (8gb at 1080p is already almost capped) it will make the game slower/less smooth because of constant RAM swapping.
@@rhodan74 damn thanks, cus I notice it Stutter's and high latency
Yeah, thats a shame because the ones who actually need it are those who cant run the game at 60fps to begin with.
Thank you! Were hoping you'd upload an optimization guide like you did with GAMMA
I'll probably do a full, extensive guide at some point, but after we get a couple optimization patches, right now it's more some bandaids while waiting for them!
@@CheekiBreekiTv thank you these optimization won't be left ignored
@@CheekiBreekiTv your gamma optimization guide carried me for years; you are the legend. Your laptop isn’t crapy
This is the only optimization guide, that has actually made a difference for me. Game feels better to play with less stutters, frame drops and vram shortages. NPCs still tank fps though, that's for the devs to fix.
Dude ı literally saw 5 fps in zalissya 80-90fps in open free roam areas
My AMD brothers! Go into adrenaline, and turn on Frame Rate Target Control to fix the mouse input lag!! It still feels a tiny bit sluggish but its so much better. Also, in case that doesn't work on its own, I'm also in Fullscreen with ingame vsync off and enhanced sync turned on in Adrenaline. Good luck Stalkers

I updated my mod "Optimization Essentials" to version 2, it has massive gains and is now stable. Its great for performance
The mouse fixes and launch commands made the game playable... thanks Mr. Breeki! :)
Thank you for this went from between 20-30fps to 30-40fps with your help so thank you stalker! 👍🏼
much like the zone the perfomance of this game functions in strange and unknowable ways
Anyone notice once you go into a cutscene, your fps drops like...30 frames?
I don't get 30 frames to begin with
Remember hotfixes are coming soon, CSG devs are working as fast as they can ❤
Oh yeah I'm not worried, to be fair before release, looking at the min requirements, I was expecting to run the game at low/30fps (if at all), and I'm actually running medium-low at 40-50fps.

My next goal is change my laptop with 8gb 4060 now but in 3rd world country it's hard as staying alive in the zone without any firearm.

thanks so much for the config info.
This will drastically shorten your time caching shaders when the game starts and also improves the whole game (removing stutters etc) how it runs after this change :)

dude, erm how do I say this, the second mod you have in the description is the one you want, installing it instantly removed all the input lag and almost doubled my framerate im running a desktop 3060 and I get the same frames as you with FSR FG off without the mod with the mod its in the 60s 70-s and with FSR FG its in the 90s to 120s, framegen for me isnt crazy with the framegen artifacts and I find your brain gets used to the weirdness of dark areas it kinda all melds together after a few hours and your eyes fix it automatically for you kinda like with motion blur in films
For some odd reason, if I lock my fps in in game settings to 30fps and enable the framegen i will get 60fps ingame (except for menu and pda or buying in trader etc.)
And for some odd reason i dont get input lag which is weird.

I think your ram makes the big difference

Cheeki, where did you get viper with drum mag?:o
I have found a drum mag for Viper in one of the stashes (quest reward) in Lesser Zone.
If you have problems with widescreen stuttering, try playing on 1920x1080 with 16 by 10 aspect ratio
Im plsying on a 16gb ram ryzen 5 rtx 3060 6gig laptop is this considered as a low end pc ?
so i have a 4060 gpu, amd ryzen 5 5600 6-core processor, 24gb of ram, and enough storage, and im on windows 11, and i put the game to the lowest settings with a performance mod and i get around 5 to 8 fps

If you have a good graphics card that can run the game, like a 4080, you should use DLAA + framgen plus the settings he shows in the video, maybe just up the texture quality. When your base framerate is between 50-70 the artifacting is not notice when new frames are generated.
FSR with frame gen made a massive frame rate improvement on my AMD system. I don't know if you Nvidia bois will see the same thing though.
I gave up. All of my settings are off and low and 1080p and im still 7fps max. Guess its time for a new computer?
Your last sentence is my sentence.Just that and Im happy
stuck with 5 collar from a side quest that cant give me option to deliver them... think now is more of a waitting game than actualy play the game... sad.
Ok, i need to try this input lag fix!
i have a strong amd card and native with only framegen does it for me. Everything on high (textures on epic) and native 1440p gets me 60 fps. when framegen has a lot of base fps to work with and a lot of detail (no detail lost by upscaling) it works really well
My gpu is always at 120 fps how do I lower it?
Great, great, just great, you are my hero. Sadly I am on AMD GPU, but still, keep up the good work, tahnk you
How much RAM does it use in high graphics?
Next can you tell me how to make it so bloodsuckers aren’t spawning every 15 seconds.
Finding it hard to bind keys
I'm taking a break from this game until the performance gets patched a bit. I have the 11th most powerful GPU that exists, and it still runs at 55fps at best with the settings up, even with DLSS Quality.
I've been running native 1440p with XeSS TAA on my 3080 and it's been okay.
