I feel like the leader class should be able to use almost any weapon type. Or something to make it a lil more unique. I main recon but I usually try to be squad lead to get access to rally point so I can setup on a nice long range flank.

Worth noting that a medium powered scope is more than enough for basically anything for recon class. Medium has no glint or need to hold your breath, and is great for counter sniping. The only hard part about medium range scopes is that it’s hard to spot the enemies yourself at longer distances, but it’s still very possible to snipe 1km+ with them.

Yeah I think slow health regen makes complete sense. Medic can immediately get his teammates to full health which would still be very good even with natural regen
As an engineer you should always blast enemy vehicles when you come across them for easy 1800 points, also denys potential spawn locations And of course destroy cover for multi kills on enemy groups
The engineer with tandaem rockets is soo good, you get half the rockets but double damage, doing 87 to apc's and one shotting all light vehicles, and doing 44 to tanks and heavy choppers
Depends on what you want, I honestly thought the heat rounds one shotted small choppers because I’ve blown them up with the heat ones (also heat is pretty op for infantry kills)
Few issues with this list. Engi's can function as armored snipers given they have access to DMR's & medium sights, recons should NEVER use long range sights as glint is outright busted currently & renders through foliage/thin walls
@@StriderPF compared to just spamming the vector or zero recoil M4? Sure, for now. That's likely going to change though. also didn't bring up anything related to the air drone for recon, or the tactics that revolve around it be it for cheesing free multikills or nuking MBTs/IFVs from afar with zero risk
Yes, which is why I favor running/aim down sights speed over armor (with a few exceptions, I use the Assault class for more su1c1dal pushes where I probably won't live long anyway so the extra armor is helpful).
Been basically only playing medic as well, for the same reasons you pointed out. But I have been coming into some ammo issues with the class. It's fine if you're in a larger group, but if you're solo or in a smaller team with no ammo-carriers, then I tend to run out of bullets pretty fast. You can get heavy armor on medic that ups the mags carried, but it unlocks at lvl140
Another plus for support is they can construct fully built structures like hescos and walls. It adds a touch of fortnite, you can also use the hesco walls as support (the super tall hesco).
I think you forget that engineer RPG is a f*ck your cover type of game. If a recon is pillboxing on a rooftop or a lot of enemies are holding point the engineer can much more safely disable their fortifications or cover, as he can run RPG together with C4s. Also worth noting is anti vehicle mines. Grab an engineer squad and head to enemy roads, place them between the broken lines in the middle of the road so if a vehicle comes back for repair or goes out to deploy they just get their vehicles destroyed and you get a lotta points. I think the class benefits a lot playing a more artillery role in partnership with recons, as the Engineer can destroy structures from long range while recons destroy enemies long range.
@StriderPF Sadly yeah but it can be a bit realistic but I wish it temporarily disabled tanks and the driver has to go out fix it. I think this js the reason why Engineer tandem rounds are the only thing a tank fears. Also, Anti Vehicle Drone is just as terrifying as it sounds. Just chase down blackhawks with anti personnel and anti vehicle.
Use a ranger barrel, 4x ACOG scope and l96, one taps from any distance past 900M. Use the zeroing feature and BAM OP. Was running a 2 shot build for sniper and still went 31/6. Sniping is meant for a grind though, takes 10 hours at least to unlock good weapons otherwise yeah extremely poor class when you first start or you have to have godly aim.(I do not have)
@@AchillesofOblivion basically use pageup or pagedown to make your bullet drop exact on a specific hundred number of meters (so at 200 meters, your bullet will hit the center, and pageup means that your bullet will now only hit the center of your crosshair at 300 meters)
FYI any leader of a squad (regardless of class) can spawn a rally beacon, the leader role is a left over remnant from the more Hardcore original vision of the game, will become more relevant again in the later to be released hardcore mode
Honestly imo you do not want a long range scope on the snipers. The medium range scopes gives you plenty of zoom even for long range and you dont give off a glint making it alot harder for other players to find you
Maybe I didn't notice, but you didn't mention that the medic has the largest assortment of weapons in the game - he also has access to submachine guns, assault rifles, personal weapons, and he has a large assortment of explosives. Combined with all his other advantages, this makes him too strong a class, and I don't see a balance here. There's not much point in taking an assault if you have pretty much everything the same, but better (except fast reloads) for a healer.
"You don't have a sniper because your a leader" Well you DO get DMRs as well as ARs. Though honestly WHAT IS THE POINT OF SQUAD LEADER CLASS?! Like....first person in the squad (or you promote someone) is the Squad Leader, so far as i know the Squad Leader class doesn't even MATTER! Maybe when they add Airstrikes it will be "unique". The Squad Leader class is wierd cus its like a MIX of ASSAULT and RECON gadget wise. Assault has "buffs" to weapon handling (the reload speed is definitely noticeable, he does have other buffs too). The Riot Shield is their only Unique gadget, and is the only other class besides Recon to get the Grappling hook. (useful for flanking or scaling buildings or blown up stair wells) Also has a small ammo box if that matters to anyone. Medic can Heal, Bandages faster, Drags people faster, and is "best XP farm" if you are just going around healing everyone. Engineer is pretty your Anti Vehicle/Vehicle repair guy, pretty obvious what he does. (really good if you like to play vehicles as well) He does have Anti Vehicle mines which are unique to him. You can get SOME nice xp from repairing vehicles. You have 3 different RPG Warheads (5 if you count the 2 without the scope) Frag for Anti Infantry (both), HE for light vehicles (both) and transport vehicles, Tandom for Heavy Armor (scoped RPG only). Support Class can build Defenses/Emplacements INSTANTLY, and has the BIG ammo box as unique gadget (cus why run the small one when you have the bigger one?). Recon, your a Sniper lets be real here. The Decoy glint gadget is pretty neat, and you can even get a DRONE (and yes you can put C4 on it) And yeah they REALLY need add a Class perks Picture to the Firing Range tutorial area or SOMETHING cus i bet almost no one knows any of those perks exist. BTW you CAN kill people with the Sledge hammer. (far as i know its "silent" too. Certainly quieter then shooting them. Plus hay its got 3 skins so ITS HAMMER TIME!)
I would love for Support to just... Be better. LMGs just feel weak, and with no "suppressive fire" effect in game (not to be confused with suppressors) there isn't really much point to them besides Ammo Crates and being Tanky AF. Which is a shame because I love just DAKKADAKKADAKKA with the M249. Medic just has so many plusses for it though. Even with my love for the M249 from my Battlefield days, they would have to buff Support and nerf Medic quite a bit to get me to change.
Yeah, they should add big accuracy/recoil buffs for being stationary with those lmgs and also increase their firerate. Support could also be made even more tanky, like I'm not opposed to exo getting a buff to have 100 armor and 45 head armor so he can't get oneshot to the head by any sniper. Support if done right should almost feel like the gunner class in DRG
@@StriderPF I just rewatched the video and you missed it... I'm maining engineer and only found about it recently. It's a throwable unique to the engineer class besides the anti tank mines and rpgs.
Idk why you'd play any class other than Medic, especially classes that share weapon types with it as it is a strictly better version of those classes. The self heal is just too good to not have and absolutely trumps every other utility you could have in other kits.
Leader class kinda sucks imo. You can be a Squad Leader and play another class while keeping the Leader upsides such as placing Spawn Beacons. The actual Leader class has no point, wish it did. Maybe they could allow Leader to have amazing customization. I’d imagine being able to use any weapon, any piece of armor, and maybe an option to use an okay gadget from every class, like Frag RPG, Light Ammo, Drone, Riot Shield, Sledge, and maybe a less crazy Med box that only heals teammates or only heals you. I say okay gadgets cause I don’t want Leader to be OP as hell. Imagine Leader being a high priority class. That would result in a lot of dudes trying to play him which would be frustrating, could cause shit. Super good customization would already be amazing, having meta gadgets might make him broken. You already get to use any class with Leader upsides, so might as well let Leader be the God among class customization and allow you to make almost any combination you want. Sounds cool if it’s balanced well.
Yeah leader should either use any weapon or he like a squad leader in WW2 where he has like an smg only (but can do some cool squad commands and runs REALLY fast)
@@StriderPF Yeah that's what I was thinking. I'd like Leader to be a cool extra class you get access to every now and then, not super meta class that you'd get pissed off when you don't have access to him. Dangerous class to balance, might be the reason he's so bad rn.
Engineer is good class for flanking, you can demolish whole enemy team with your rpg if u get good spot behind them, even from quite far range. Rpg is also good vs snipers and people who are inside buildings.
To sum up my experiences with each class: Leader: practically useless, dont play it unless you have to Assault: jack of all traits, master of none Medic: 50% of the time you are actually helping people and the other 50% are spent basically playing call of duty Engineer: haha explosives go boom Support: a bullet hose that works best in buildings, chokeholds and almost every entry point of said places Recon: more realistic team fortress 2 sniper except he has a drone of death

Been basically only playing medic as well, for the same reasons you pointed out. But I have been coming into some ammo issues with the class. It's fine if you're in a larger group, but if you're solo or in a smaller team with no ammo-carriers, then I tend to run out of bullets pretty fast.
You can get heavy armor on medic that ups the mags carried, but it unlocks at lvl140
unfortunate but thats cool that you can basically prestige your medic
Another plus for support is they can construct fully built structures like hescos and walls. It adds a touch of fortnite, you can also use the hesco walls as support (the super tall hesco).
Yeah you can also fortnite to get up ledges that are too tall with a couple barriers
@@StriderPF i didnt think i would like that aspect but building fobs is pretty fun
I love using the engineer as an anti sniper class, w the rocket launcher, my rockets magnetize to sniper glints.😂
Apparently anti vehicle mines do 7 damage to tanks but other than that yeah engineer good
@StriderPF Sadly yeah but it can be a bit realistic but I wish it temporarily disabled tanks and the driver has to go out fix it. I think this js the reason why Engineer tandem rounds are the only thing a tank fears.
Also, Anti Vehicle Drone is just as terrifying as it sounds. Just chase down blackhawks with anti personnel and anti vehicle.
I use engineer almost always, it's so easy to take out snipers with the scoped HE version and make new pathways for teammates!
i love counter sniping with rpg, also its so satisfying when u get to shoot it at huge group of enemies
@@alexihemmoranta297 exactly!!!
I agree with the clearing paths to an extent but medic c4 does that just fine for me as well
@@StriderPF true dat!! At least as effective!
Use a ranger barrel, 4x ACOG scope and l96, one taps from any distance past 900M. Use the zeroing feature and BAM OP. Was running a 2 shot build for sniper and still went 31/6. Sniping is meant for a grind though, takes 10 hours at least to unlock good weapons otherwise yeah extremely poor class when you first start or you have to have godly aim.(I do not have)
I have 27 hours and still only rank 47, 11.4 hours on recon too...
Yeah the snipers are good but the recon class gadgets and health just kinda sucks
How does zeroing even work
@@AchillesofOblivion basically use pageup or pagedown to make your bullet drop exact on a specific hundred number of meters (so at 200 meters, your bullet will hit the center, and pageup means that your bullet will now only hit the center of your crosshair at 300 meters)
Pretty sure assault gets 20% extra reload speed and ads time
if thats true thats super good
25% reload speed, 20% aiming speed and 20% weapon switching speed
FYI any leader of a squad (regardless of class) can spawn a rally beacon, the leader role is a left over remnant from the more Hardcore original vision of the game, will become more relevant again in the later to be released hardcore mode
Yeah so the class in its current state is actually a 1/5 completely worthless but the character model is cool
I feel like engy would be a lot better if he got some passive buffs to building sandbags and let him repair his own teams vehicles
I only like to use leader when I am on a map with decent wall destruction. I use the pickaxe and a carbine rifle and have a field day.
Medic - Vector.
End of Story
The rpg with the engineer is great for clearing out dug in enemies
True
Bread approves
thank you homie!
Honestly imo you do not want a long range scope on the snipers. The medium range scopes gives you plenty of zoom even for long range and you dont give off a glint making it alot harder for other players to find you
Medic with a few supports is best en mass, but solo, assault is best up close, engie is best mid range (you'll never guess the best sniper class)
That’s true I think medic shouldn’t get access to assault rifles or c4 boom medic is now balanced sorta
I run the m249 SAW as support...god I love that weapon
yeah best lmg maybe im doing a ranking video soon
I wish that the engineer's anti vehicle things were given to assault and the anti cover ones to support
I think anti vehicle mines make sense for engineer because his entire purpose is anti vehicle
You only have to be leader of the squad to use rally, any class can put it down
Yeah so dumb leader actually is terrible
I search battlebit remastered but all that comes up is base battles and battlebit which only has 2 players
its on steam. Might be Battle Bit with a space?
Sniper kamikazi drones is very underrated IMO
I’ve tried them they’re so funny but so inconsistent at getting kills lol
@@StriderPF I think it's about timing and flight skill. But not for highest k/d ua-cam.com/video/wlRsPAI63RU/v-deo.html
The Decoy glint gadget is pretty neat, and you can even get a DRONE (and yes you can put C4 on it)
And yeah they REALLY need add a Class perks Picture to the Firing Range tutorial area or SOMETHING cus i bet almost no one knows any of those perks exist. BTW you CAN kill people with the Sledge hammer. (far as i know its "silent" too. Certainly quieter then shooting them. Plus hay its got 3 skins so ITS HAMMER TIME!)
yeah drone is awesome and leader apparently has like nothing because you can place beacons if your squad leader regardless of class
So you left Phantom Forces? Good Job strider! 😂😂
Not entirely but I’m making battlebit videos too
Secondaries ranked next? Maybe?
I’ll do those soon but secondaries are very goofy in this game
You're talking so fast! It's hard to catch it all in one watch-through, had to replay several portions. Great information though - subbed! :)
Yeah I’ll try to slow down for future videos I talk too fast lol
I would love for Support to just... Be better. LMGs just feel weak, and with no "suppressive fire" effect in game (not to be confused with suppressors) there isn't really much point to them besides Ammo Crates and being Tanky AF. Which is a shame because I love just DAKKADAKKADAKKA with the M249.
Medic just has so many plusses for it though. Even with my love for the M249 from my Battlefield days, they would have to buff Support and nerf Medic quite a bit to get me to change.
yeah theres essentially no reason to run support unless you really like the lmg class
They can also make the repair tool for engis repair armor, which would be another nice buff
The lmgs are the best guns in the game, you can easily ping people from 300 meters with a medium scope
@@greglyhoblit you can do that with an ar too
Haha recon class drone go boom.
I think there should be a heqvy class that can tank and deal alot of damage but is slow
That’s support
that castle crashers music...
You did not mention engineer's exclusive anti tank grenades and he gets 5 instead of 3 regular grenades and they also destroy bricks.
I did later in the video
@@StriderPF I just rewatched the video and you missed it... I'm maining engineer and only found about it recently. It's a throwable unique to the engineer class besides the anti tank mines and rpgs.
You can place a spawn beacon as any member of the team lmao
No as any class as long as your squad leader, so yeah leader class is useless but you have to still be the squad leader
I love support but admittedly moving .01 mph does get rather tiresome when you’re a noob like me lol
Idk why you'd play any class other than Medic, especially classes that share weapon types with it as it is a strictly better version of those classes. The self heal is just too good to not have and absolutely trumps every other utility you could have in other kits.
Medics can’t blow peoples walls apart from across the street…. That’s my only reason 😊
OH I DIDNT NOW U PLAYED BATTLEBIT also r u quitting pf to play battlebit or do u still play it but ur making battlebit content now
Making some battlebit maybe not completely quitting though
just saw that my team was mostly medics and i knew that he was the best class
Yeah literally teams can be like 6 medics one support one recon
Um can you do a comparison between Battlebit and Phantom Forces
idk what id talk about the games are pretty different
But at the same time I agree on the whole don’t make him good thing (because then everyone would just make their own squad and it would ruin the game)
@@StriderPF Yeah that's what I was thinking. I'd like Leader to be a cool extra class you get access to every now and then, not super meta class that you'd get pissed off when you don't have access to him. Dangerous class to balance, might be the reason he's so bad rn.
It’s official: STRIDER IS DONE WITH PHANTOM FORCES
ehhhh do you want me to keep making pf vids or what
@@StriderPF Maybe about op snipers and which one is the best option
Hmmm I feel like I've seen you in my matches before...
this kind of editing is my trigger lol
I use medic with smg guns. I just hate the assault guns too much recoil. Or do I just tap fast with the assault guns?
i think with attachments youll find the m4a1 sg550 aug acr those 556 guns to be very accurate
@@StriderPF hmm. Ok
Medic. Medic is the only class you should play.
Unfortunately at the moment yeah kinda I mean I use only medic
Engineer is good class for flanking, you can demolish whole enemy team with your rpg if u get good spot behind them, even from quite far range. Rpg is also good vs snipers and people who are inside buildings.
yeah not great for people on ledges since it stops the splash from hitting them but great for people in windows
Spotting bonuses for sniper?
can you do a settings video
Soon!
can i know the m4a1 setup?
You should fr just grind battlebit phantom forces ain't gonna get you anywhere and it gets very very boring after so much of playing it
Yeah
medic class also drags faster ‼️
true! drag revive op!
To sum up my experiences with each class:
Leader: practically useless, dont play it unless you have to
Assault: jack of all traits, master of none
Medic: 50% of the time you are actually helping people and the other 50% are spent basically playing call of duty
Engineer: haha explosives go boom
Support: a bullet hose that works best in buildings, chokeholds and almost every entry point of said places
Recon: more realistic team fortress 2 sniper except he has a drone of death
yup
i personally have not played this game yet tho it seems intereasting...
super good
Scout is useless when I can snipe you with my RPG. Bwahaha
Honestly true engineer dmr loadout and rpg is goofy but fun
