I have enjoyed your video on the Lake Chapala area very much. I think this was a very good comparison. We are planning on moving to the area in June. We definitely are focused on Chapala but I have been following your videos on Jamay and it seems very appealing. We will be in the Lake Chapala area in late April to see the various out lying communities. To get a feel of them per se.

I would love to see a video about expats who live in Chapala and how they are able to navigate with less English speakers. I'm learning Spanish, but it's no where near operational yet! Sounds good! This video will show you a Home that meet your your needs. It's actually our home but it is two bedroom that 1700 ft.² has a view of the lake backyard garden and a pool. Our home is not for sale and it's not for rent but it gives you an idea the cost of the home would be somewhere around $350,000 in a gated community.

I forgot to put in the rent fully furnished would be between $1500 a month to $1800 a month.

Jerry --- Amelia and JP (from Ecuador) just visited Chapala recently & did a video that - revealed - a US expat who said he lived in Chapala easily for just under$1000 / month - & - ate out most of the time ! --?-- Perhaps less common (?) but apparently - doable ?
I think it is possible to live in Chapala for $1000 a month for a single person I have interviewed five different people that have been doing it in different parts of Mexico on $300-$700 a month.

Their cost of living videos are accurate. They have been in touch with and interviewed the health care and medical specialists I need to make informed decisions. For not only me but my older brother who is older and may come down as soon as he needs assisted living or nursing care He ( and Lori ) have many years covering immigration, Social Security, places to live And much more.
