I have a couple of neighbors that are selling their homes in California, and one is moving to Cabo San Lucas and the other to GDL= Guadalajara, Mexico. I have a co-worker who retired and moved to GDL. I went to visit him back in the fall. GDL is so Beautiful. The homes are absolutely beautiful and modern. I give my props to the building designers and pool designers. The weather is like Los Angeles, California and so much Greenery. I loved it. It has grown so much since the last time I had been there in 1980 when I was 20 years old. I went with a couple of Buddies of mine which are no longer living. Miss them so much! Now I am 67, Boy how time fly's.

Have you factored-in the strong Pesos exchange rate? as of today, it’s new high 1USD:16.7MX$,
when you’re showing those numbers in US Dollars, look more like for 2 years ago, when 1USD was able to get 20 Pesos, but nowadays, expenses in Mexico pesos to US Dollar has increased at least 30% comparing last year

To the narrator, accents in Spanish indicate the syllable stressed. In Spanish, the default stress is the second to last syllable. An accent indicates when another syllable should be stressed. With the name Cristobal, since there is no accent indicating otherwise, the stress falls on the “to” pronounced “toe” , as the second to last syllable.

Puerto Vallarta has earned the honor of being the most expensive city in all of Mexico! This is based on the cost of housing, food and and other amenities! Local natives have had to flee their city because they can no longer afford to live in Puerto Vallarta! Stupid buyers and greedy real estate sales people have pushed housing prices up higher than much of the US! Quite sad! And beaches are only so so! Otherwise an OK place to live.

There is not a corner of Mexico where drug traffickers are not present. Gone are the years of the all-powerful drug cartels, which divided up large territories like pieces of cake and agreed to truces when mounting death tolls started to hurt business. More people are being killed than ever. And in some states, neither the presence of the Mexican army nor local authorities have been able to stop it.
In Mexico, there are at least 150 organized crime gangs, according to the latest criminal map presented by a group of researchers from Mexico’s prestigious Center for Economic Research and Teaching (CIDE). This is a huge rise from 2006, when the number of drug gangs could be counted on the fingers of one hand.

    Pllase stop this!
These places wont be any more "affordable" by your standards, than anywhere else, after you keep creating videos about them to make money. As soon as people with too much money "discover" a place, its doomed!! 🤬
You're ruining them, and stressing the kind local citizens who need tourist money. 🤨
I can tell you that, for years, Mexico really WAS affordable, but we visited and went home. We didnt try to take over!
    And....what's an "Ex-pat"?
Is that an immigrant trying to sound 'cool'? 😂
    I said it.

Better health care, natural and cultural offer.

@@mexicanodecorazon1697 You are correct the last time I went to Mexico last fall. I have seen Asians, Middle Easterners, and Canadians they bought homes in Mexico. Mexico makes plenty of money just on tourism alone. The tourist is from everywhere in the World. In Guadalajara=GDL they have Walmart, Costco, Amazon, Apple, and other Great Companies. It has changed so much compared to the last time I came in 1980. Very Modern now and it has always been Beautiful.
