of course fender puts out this new Player II series with the rosewood and rolled boards *after* I just bought a CME player jazzmaster lmao. I'm not like a super stickler against pao ferro...but the rosewood with rolled edges sounds so nice haha
So roll the boards its super easy, you can use 400 grit sandpaper, or a nail file, or razorblade. I buy them mexican fenders to mod. I got a 96 its completely modded. But it sounds good.
It’s pretty crazy at how often l disagree with Mr Mythos 😂 but l do enjoy this show and try to never miss a comedic episode of the “l don’t like it but that’s just me show”. But it always comes across in a Seinfeld not so serious manner 😂
I just subscribed but maybe I should second guess my decision because jazzmasters and jags are my main guitars and I LOVE the trem system on them... just gotta know how to set them up and they are stable and wonderful! Just kidding though... I will give you a another chance.... but tread lightly on the offset trash talk!
The "FREE HAT" title just makes me think about that episode of South Park, can't remember exactly which, but Cartman was technically correct as folks really like free shit so it does attract attention rather effectively!
Fender colour choices always confuse me. Like why is there no rosewood board on the black strat. That is just as iconic a look as the maple neck. Is that just a way of forcing someone who wants that to buy a more expensive guitar? But I think even the American Pro II doesn’t nt offer black rosewood board strats. Thats a scam imo
The Jazzmaster and Jaguar trem plate are wrong…. They are too close to the saddles. Also, I have a jazzmaster with wide range Lollars and the rhythm circuit makes that pickup sound like a PAF in the neck. My custom shop Jazzmaster has a neck pickup that is warm enough, so the rhythm circuit just muddies the sound - it’s only useful in a super bright amp. Waiting for Mike from Puisheen to tear it apart!
Fender Tiers for the uninitiated: Squire Bullet - The salesperson just showed me how to play an E chord Squire Affinity - I've been playing acoustic for a while, but I would like to be louder Squire CV - I like the vintage look but refuse to pay Vintera money for a Mexican Fender Squire Paranormal - I wanna look unique on stage Squire Contemporary - I need high gain, but I've got low dollars and Ibanez is too pointy. Player - I want it to say Fender on the Headstock Vintera - I want it to say Fender on the 70s headstock Player Plus - no idea why this exists Made in Japan - Gimme an Aerodyne American Performer - I really like matte finishes American Professional - I just want a sunburst Strat made in the greatest country on God's green earth. Paranormal- I'm really, really committed to looking unique on stage. American Vintage - Gimme a 7.25" radius fretboard or give me death Ultra - I hate 60 cycle hum and I'm willing to spend any amount of money to make it go away Ultra Luxe - Custom Shops just look like beat up old guitars, can you give me something that says "I've got money to burn"? Custom Shop - I want a new guitar, but not too new Too many options?
When i watched WWF id always have tacobell while jumping on my parents bed doing wrestling moves. Wrestling makes me crave tacobell now. Also so do the pedal pushers
The irony of calling out Taco Bell for it not being free if you have to buy something, but then the hat is only free if I buy a pedal 😂 …I bought the oracle 🤦♂️
No lefty offsets, only 3 color choices for the strats and Teles now instead of the old 5, and complete discontinuation of left handed basses. It’s insulting
How are they gonna justify the price difference to the Am Pro II now when then Player II now has rounded fretboard edges, as well as their "cold rolled" steel block? I know labor is more expensive in the US, but come on, those were their unique selling points, plus the sculpted neck heel, which is the only real differentiator now..
Can't believe how good your intro track sounds on my phone .
That’s the demo song I wrote for the fates chorus pedal! Banger
@@MythosPedals really popped out was getting a cup of t and I ran back to my phone nice one cheers.
Jazzmaster rythm circuit with a fuzz pedal is magic!
They're all vintage car colors!
Coral Red - Porsche 911, Hialeah Yellow - AMC Javelin, Birch Green - VW Beetle, and Aquatone Blue - Ford F100

I’m very opinionated lol I just think we should more open and willing to say what we like and don’t like. It’s never personal…well most of the time 😁
@@MythosPedals 100% We need to argue/disagree and shake hands at the end. We are better when we allow different opinions in our lives.
About time they brought back rosewood. I really didn’t like the look of Pau Ferro
is there a reason you guys don’t put this in the podcast feed? is it just cuz of all the visual stuff?
This is just the livestream not technically a pedal pushers

Don’t see any hats on their site??
You have to buy a pedal and put the hat in your cart. The website will make the hat free.
How do you get the free hat?
If you buy a Pedal on mythos pedals.com this weekend only and add a hat to your shopping cart. The website will discount the hat for you.
love this podcast but the noise gate is a bit too agressive
