  • This is my montage of the Queen Nefertari Exhibit presented at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City Missouri . Exhibitions at the museum have a fee but the rest of the museum is free. It is a rather impressive collection. I was only able to see a portion of it. I have some other posts of the museum on my channel so please check it out. I am in no way affiliated with the museum. Check out the museum's site here:
    www.nelson-atkins.org/
What I liked about this exhibition was it was not all just Egyptian funeral art. They had some workman's tools like paint brushes and pigments. For me the best objects were the wooden hammers and chisels. I swear I own chisels which look exactly like the ones on display just not as worn out. The objects also were not all "royal" with items found in tombs of working class Egyptians.
Yes that is not a typo in the title. The name of the exhibit is Nefertari, as there was a Queen Nefertari. Queen Nefertiti was also a known monarch but is more widely known. The exhibit gives information on both.

Egyptian is in north Africa not in black Africa ! The north African DNA is Berber (indigen of north africa)
      ua-cam.com/video/rf9PUUAr58o/v-deo.html
Rames III was mixed probably with a Pharaon and a black slave. The son of the prince Harry is mixed and you have probably DNA on common with him, but it doesn't mean that the English are black. The son of a Medicis prince was mixed with a black servant it doesn't mean that the Italian where black !
Wikipedia : The Egyptian language is a northern Afro-Asiatic language closely related to the Berber and Semitic languages.[108] It has the longest known history of any language having been written from c. 3200 BC to the Middle Ages and remaining as a spoken language for longer. The phases of ancient Egyptian are Old Egyptian, Middle Egyptian (Classical Egyptian), Late Egyptian, Demotic and Coptic.[109] Egyptian writings do not show dialect differences before Coptic, but it was probably spoken in regional dialects around Memphis and later Thebes.[110]

@chatonmignon8724 it is good to hear from someone who actually knows something instead of just wanting to promote propaganda. What some people won't accept is that their ancestors were slaves and made slaves by their own kind. It's much nicer to think that they lived in a utopia and the evil outsiders came along and messed everything up.

It's because of the historical western orientation of patriarchal linguistics that she is now called "Queen"...
