Today my friend Anni and I are helping a single mom. Her home wasn’t the dirtiest I have ever seen but it was large. And seeing the kids room almost broke my heart. As much as I love seeing the extremely bad homes full of garbage transform, this was refreshing to just see a house that was cluttered return to order. Obviously some basic cleaning needed too, but a very different experience to watch. So glad you could help this mom who is over burdened .
Basic cleaning? This place was gross not as bad as her other videos but comments like these have me wondering what y'all's homes look like if you consider this level as just basic 😂
@@ALB6969 I was acknowledging that the house wasn’t just cluttered it required cleaning too. Considering how she usually has to declog a sink and scrape off loads of build up, this was more basic: wiping and dusting all surfaces. Shoot she usually has to excavate the floor from garbage and some of that debris has bonded to the floor.
Your such an amazing person helping others for free! Your work is amazing. I personally don't understand how homes can get so bad if you just clean as you go each day... but I know a lot of these people are o erwhelmed, unwell etc. Your a cleaning Angel!
@@ALB6969 Am always amazed at how people think it's ok to come home, dump coat and shoes on floor, eat in front of the TV, dump plates etc. etc. Just dump and never put anything away. This is not normal, this is being lazy sluts.
A bulletin board for this mom to hang the kids art work or calendar for special dates to remember would be really nice. ❤😊
there's something so refreshing about how you never film the residents or try to get their reactions on camera. It shows that you're really in it to help people and not just for views or content

@xXluluchanelXx I have seen all of Auri's videos. Most of the residents do admit it is their mess, and one resident has allowed herself to be filmed without her face in it.

I am a mum to 5 also and I clean every day and my house still gets pretty messy very fast. When I have been sick and not tidying up you would be surprised how fast it can get on top of you. Thanks for helping this family ❤️
Im mom of 2, (1 who doesn’t even live here), and yes, I clean daily and it still gets messy!!! It’s amazing just how much cleaning you actually have to do to just live cleanly. When I get sick, I still drag my arse to clean cuz I know what will be waiting for me when I’m well, and I don’t want to deal with it 😂....cleaning is so underestimated and cleaners are undervalued, whether it’s the mom or a professional. It’s important and CONSTANT 🥴

It’s hard when you work and hard if you’re a SAHM and you’re right it’s a CONSTANT struggle and if I’m constantly cleaning redoing and organizing I feel guilty that I haven’t dedicated all my free time to my child and if I sit around and play and do things with him all day I feel guilty I let the house “go” spending almost every day off cleaning isn’t fun not to mention cooking and preparing food and a messy or cluttered home is so stressful and then sometimes you do all the things and everything is still a mess and there’s never enough time so many don’t understand the struggle
If I get sick it looks worse than this house 😳

Feels good to watch a "normal" house cleaning, it shows that yes it can get a little out of hands sometimes but you can always fix it and make it shine again!
This was a huge help to Olivia and her 5 children! But I think it's also a huge help to many watching. This was a more relatable, "things have just gotten out of hand" kind of cleanup. Lots of just picking up and putting away, clearing out and some deep cleaning of surfaces that were really neglected. It looked like she kept she had kept it clean, then hit a rough patch and couldn't really clean, so she just glossed over it with the intention of getting to it later. But she kept glossing over it until it started to build up. But it didn't get too terrible. And there are LOTS of people in that position and they just need to know where and how to start to get it shipped into shape again.
You have encourged in to push pass my depression by cleaning and rearranging my apartment. It's a slow progress but I'm doing it.

Your love of cleaning has taken the fear and guilt out of my cleaning. I now feel excited to clean up an area, instead of weighed down by guilt and self hate for it being that way.
Any idiot can ridicule or belittle, most do, but taking a positive approach to any problem in the first and best step in solving it.

If the mum is reading this comment, please know this home is a reflection of how well you do, not to make the tenants of the other homes feel bad but this place was nothing compared to what she's cleaned before, most without children so be proud this was a mess but it wasn't a state and if I had 5 kids as a single mum my house would probably look like that too, and probably a lot more mum's out there too would admit that too !!! ❤
and I hope that she has neighbors or whoever who will call the juveniles if that mess will happen again. children should not live in such disaster with such a mother

My favorite room to clean is my bathroom. It’s small so it doesn’t take long. I like to mop and it’s the only space inside I can mop as my other floors are wood. Plus I love the smell of the cleaners I use in the bathroom. A clean fresh bathroom makes me very happy.

Had me in tears to think of that mom with five children. Luckily she has a beautiful living space. In that respect, she is fortunate. Many people live in environments that are uninhabitable.
A mother of 5… it doesn’t take a lot to lose control of the household I think. She just didn’t know where to start anymore ❤ luckily she can start fresh now 🥰🌹 and hopefully she has people around her to keep her on track. If she were my friend or neighbor i’d help ❤

Oh god, poor Olivia. I can't imagine the stress. My heart goes out to her. But this is such a bright, pretty apartment and I'm so glad mum & kids get to enjoy it now and play with their cute toys ❤️❤️
It is surprising how quickly things can get to the stage where they are overwhelming, even if you have no children at all, or just furry children. This mother must have wept with joy when she came home - and a gift voucher too must be the icing on the cake! Great job, Aurikatariina!
I have both, 3 kids, 2 cats and a dog, if i don't clean twice a day, my house will look worse than this in a week

So yes, that's what I meant, you were correct. I take it you find that particularly annoying?! Don't let that spoil your day, will you? That would be like me getting annoyed because of your "the one and only" handle! There are so many other things really worth getting annoyed about, like children having to go to bed at night hungry because their parents cannot afford to buy them food.

A few years back I was a single mom who worked full time and was finishing my degree at night. Yeah, I totally lost control of my house! Finally I moved to another state and I was able to get the house in order to sell, but it was hard! Best wishes to all of you out there struggling to keep their lives in order. Don’t lose faith!

My house is so much cleaner, thanks to you, Auri !! I have learned how to clean better using some of your techniques. 1. A scrub brush is a necessity !! 2. Dish soap cleans way more than just dishes !! 3. Wipe and fold !! And so much more !🙂💛

Love love love the ones with kids so much! Everyone needs help sometimes but kids are the ones living in it with the least control to do anything about it. They need the help more than any of us adults. They shouldn't live like that, and to be clear, not judging the adults in the home, but just saying it's the kids that REALLY get helped by helping the adult in their lives because then the adult can start to feel better and have more energy to make the kids lives better too.
Beautiful transformation! I loved the kids' room. My favorite room to clean is the bathroom. Having a clean bathroom just makes me feel healthy and clean! I also like cleaning floors because then they feel nice and smooth under your feet.
Five kids, my gosh, this lady is my hero! I have one kid and there are days I get overwhelmed. Best of wishes to her and the kiddos.

I also sometimes wrap a thin towel around a butter knife or scraper to get along those gaps between the stove and the counter! :)

Although it's a tiny home for a mom and 5 kids, I loved that the house wasn't all drawn at the walls, table, couch.. and I also loved the presence of plants everywhere. :)

I'd like to see 30-40 minute videos more often as I love watching the deep cleaning of a whole house instead of one or two rooms.

The kitchen is my favorite. For me it’s the biggest pay off, stainless steel, stone countertops etc. always looks so nice. Plus I have beautiful artwork and it’s the heart of our home. It’s also cozy me time space in the morning.

When I wasn't quite so physically disabled, I used to do this for moms with children. It's a huge relief to come home to a tidy home!

Hello Auri, I have a tip for freezing. You fold a kitchen towel lengthwise 2x and wet it. Use hot water and squeeze it out. Then sprinkle ginger powder on it as wide as your back. Wrap it around yourself, ginger side on your back, just pull up your shirt a bit and place it on your kidney area. Then lie on the sofa with a folded towel underneath you and stay there for 1h. It gets hot! Afterwards just wipe or wash the powder residue off your skin. Best results if you can just go to sleep afterwards. Do it once per week, and never when you have a kidney or bladder infection, since that is already hot. It cured my blue frozen toes for good and I am a lot less frosty since I do it. Now I rarely need this treatment. - thank you for bringing hope to the world and greetings from Luxembourg 🇱🇺
