The first step isn't Traffic, it's having something to sell in the first place. I feel like anyone who has already made an education product is aware of the need to drive traffic and process sales and all the rest of it but most of us do not even have an idea of what we could sell, never mind a ready-to-go product. I've watched a few of your videos now and they are somewhat motivational in the sense that if you can make millions and I only need about 3K a month to survive, maybe I can somehow survive but I always go away disappointed as I still don't know where to start.
Sorry, the reason i put traffic first is because this video is one of the lessons from my training program that people usually only join when they have an idea for an offer already decided on. After all, if you don’t yet know how you want to help people, then the rest is irrelevant as you can’t build a business without a product. You’re right, the offer, the problem, the solution and thus the product come first. But don’t be perturbed, you will either have a skill, a talent or unique knowledge to share. Or if not, you can develop it first and then teach it later like I did 💪🏼
I mean technically you can validate the idea before the thing even exists with traffic, right? It's like asking if your guest wants a drink. You don't make the drink first.
And how do you know that you will stick to that forever. How to pivot and change into other products in the future?

Hey mate, awesome set up and work studio. I was struggling to believe your testimonies, thinking they was paid for cameo’s since you look around 25. But after reading that Forbes article, I have to say fair play. Love how instead of calling your retirement and buying a nice car and house, your still working towards earning income from UA-cam. Especially when your topics earn the highest CPM on UA-cam. Iv started business’s before and been burnt to the ground after years. It’s a topic no one talks about, the risks of business and the fact it links with male suicide rates. Most UA-camrs make it sound so easy with there “earn £40000 in a month” etc

Great video William thanks for your simplicity and not over completing things. To get good organic traffic even paid I think it's also important to provide some sort of value before hand to get more eyeballs / followers on your page which will lead to sales process, then convert and then help the client get the result, for more efficient conversions because its rare to find people actually providing value these days like yourself! :)

I don't have any money at the moment, and this is a new experience for me. I commented in your other video about my extensive flight and driving schedule I typically have per week for work and how I abruptly stopped, as I felt like a hamster on a wheel, and felt like if I didn't stop, that there would never be any escape for me or time to build my own e-commerce empire, as I was working 70 hours per week.
However, and I'm sure you've already heard this, but you have a genuineness to you that is different from so many "gurus" out there who creates videos surrounded by exotic cars, private jets, hot women, cash laying around etc.
That's going to be your meal ticket more than it has already been for you.
Don't ever lose that.

Really love your content! I’ve taught jewelry making in my retail bead store for over 30 years. I sold over 2 million per year - however I had to close it in 2019 due to an accident - since then I’ve tried teaching online but it hasn’t really worked. my bigger unique talent is on the retail side - but if you think jewelry making is a small niche, wanting to open a bead store would be minuscule next to that - yet I know I possess the magic sauce to do it right. I’m just concerned that it really is too small of a niche to get much interest.
I would agree, way way too small of a niche. It would work, but on a tiny scale. If you want to make real money, you'd need something different 👍
This hinges on how good your solution is, thats where i am at now, trying to come up with that guarantee solutions to a specific problem. I think this is where most people will need help on. Once you got a good product, selling is easy. But most businesses out there have terrible products, something id like to avoid entirely

Making a great product is hardest, which is why I never encourage anyone to make a product first [because you don't know what the market want and need]. There's a whole chapter on this "sell before build" concept in my upcoming book that's due out in May 💪
I love the concept of selling digital products. But I love it even more with zero marketing spend. 😊 All organic traffic and sales are gold.

Don’t get stuck in the weeds man. No need to register an official business until you’ve done the most important thing: Developed an offer, built a product and made some sales. Until then, just be self-employed and get an accountant to file your taxes. When you’ve found product market fit, then scale up and make things official by founding a full on legal company 🙏🏼

Hey buddy. Sure thing. At low-scale, if your ads are written correctly, and your sales process is built correctly, then you'll find yourself spending let's say $500 in a month and making $5,000 back. Approximately speaking, of course, but that's the average ROI for a high-ticket program through a sales process
The ROI will be monstrous at low-scale. Always is when things are built correctly and dialled in. And as you scale, that will naturally come down so you'll have to fight it by bringing up the customer LTV and so on 💪

One of the things this class reminds me is how simple the visuals can be for a quality class. I have gone through a course for course making a few years ago, and my perfectionism keeps telling me, "it should be more." I feel this is me only making it harder for myself to keep myself struggling. There is a tie I am working on breaking with "struggle" being part of my self created identity.

You're 100% right. The "vehicle" as I call it (niche) is critical and dictates the market-size and pricing, too. My advice is to use logic. Whatever your niche is, you'll know how deep and wide it is. Just avoid the limiting belief of "people in my niche are broke", they never are 👍

You never start with a full blown product because you don’t know what the market want and need right off the bat. You “sell before build” then use customer feedback to produce version one thereafter. I explain this in detail in my upcoming book, due out in May 🙌🏼

The course just has to solve a valuable problem for your chosen market i.e. my buddy who sells a stop drinking course helps high-level entrepreneurs to stop drinking, save their marriage, save their relationships, save their business and their health. Immensely valuable. Or my old e-learning company I just sold taught losing traders to stop losing money, stop messing up their relationships, start making money and change their financial lives. Immensely valuable once again. Your program has to have the same affect for your chosen person. They will then exchange their money for your valuable solution and voila, you now have a coaching business 💪

Hey William! Love the videos. They're really providing a lot of value. However, I'm still stuck on what I can teach others/ what value I can share. I'm a fresh graduate from Dubai and would really appreciate some guidance.
You can teach anything that others would pay to learn. I'll give you two examples: Trading financial markets, most people lose money and need help. Therefore, people regularly pay to learn profitable strategies. Not only that but they'll pay thousands of dollars to learn them because of the value they'll get from them i.e. lots of money and freedom and so on. On the other hand, if you're very good at making sandwiches, that's great, but I doubt most people would pay to learn how to make sandwiches. Some might, for a low price. But you can't charge a price that will quickly make you a lot of money. Hope it helps 👍

And you man, happy new year! You need money to trade, there's no way around that unfortunately man. Trading is one of those careers that requires capital. That's just a fact. So if you don't have money, I would stop trading and pursue something more like a cashflow business, like selling info or starting an agency. But you'd need to learn a high-value skill first. Nothing easy, but everything is worth it 🙌

I know this sounds like a cocky answer man and for that I apologise, but the best way to learn something is to just learn something. Decide on a high-value skill or talent that you are excited about learning and teaching, spend six to twelve months in the field, then begin sharing the knowledge with others who are where you initially began 🙏🏼

The basic problem is getting traffic in the first place. It can take months to generate decent traffic.
Incorrect. You can instantly get traffic by running ads. You could have 10,000 views and 500 clicks by the end of tomorrow with the right budget. Or on the organic side: Even just doing something as simple as uploading as uploading a UA-cam video can get you free traffic in an instant. This stuff really isn’t anywhere near as hard or complex as people want to make it out to be 🙏🏼
I have a real estate website business and use SEO optimisation and still do not generate a lot of traffic - this is with 6 months of optimisation. UA-cam takes a long time to generate traffic without a huge budget pushing it up, ask anyone who organically grew their channel and it takes time. Sure, if you chuck 10,000 USD at an advertising campaign maybe you'll generate traffic, but what if you havn't gotten that amount@@willia_mbrown

You're not a loser. Never say that. Your words are powerful. Good on you for trying to make this happen, action is always step one. You don't need money to start an e-learning business (unless you want to run paid ads, but you don't need to). All you need to do is make content to drive traffic, share value, send people into a sales process and then explain how you can help them. From there, get them to book a call with you and allow them access to your program for a fee if they want to work with you. I've worked with clients in the past who have started from zero and had a £4,000 sale within ten days. All you're missing is the knowledge and from there, you can make money and more importantly, help people by sharing your value and knowledge with the world. Best of luck Margaret 💪

Sure thing, happy to help. You'll need to decide on a traffic source. I use UA-cam videos. Then build a sales process. I use ClickFunnels. Then build a product that's unique and valuable for the customer. I use video-lessons and one-to-one coaching to help my clients. Then convert the traffic into sales through either a media asset and/or a sales call. From there, that'll get you to $10K a month and beyond. Then you can scale further if you choose to.
Lots of info is free on UA-cam, but not enough to gain true, lasting success. If everything needed to be successful was free on UA-cam, you would just watch the videos and become a millionaire. The truth is, valuable and well-built and organised educational information is packaged up and sold.
There are valuable bits and bobs on UA-cam, like this video for example, but nothing deep enough or detailed enough to lead to large and sustainable success. Because it's hard to teach someone something in one video alone. That's why coaching programs and courses exist, to do just that 👍

1,000 subs is a great start Jason! £497 is way, way, way too cheap for the value. For such a valuable offer, you're talking £4K to £8K range sold via a high-ticket sales process and most likely paid ads. Then you'd need 2 sales a month to hit beyond £10K. Piece of pie, so easy when things are built correctly. Yes you 100% need an opt-in or you can't re-market, which drives about half of the sales long-term.
