Thanks for watching! See you at the track!
I just started my first season of go kart racing, bought a old used one that was beat up, paint scratched, frame falling apart. And we welded it back up, redid some of the frame, got a new paint job, a new motor, tires, rims, and this race coming up is our first race with everything new. We have been gradually working up to everything new, and here we are. Excited for this next race. And that is one good looking go kart.
That's awesome! Best of luck and thanks for watching!
Kart racing has a lot of try hards in north Carolina
BubbaSends same with indiana, it's a racing state
Lmao, Joseph says” time to show these chumps how to do it “ and he loops it twice, haha great family fun
Happy birthday to your dad. I did kart racing for several years, I got a back injury from a flat kart due to a low speed repair head on collision, if I was or putting kids in kart racing I’d do champ carts. On those your belted in like your in you LM. My injury was caused by my lower body going forward and my upper body remained still. On a side note Saturday I went over to East Lincoln to hang out in the pits and visit plus watch the races, the track announcer was riding by in a golf cart and stopped by and recognized your Hunt the Front shirt, in fact said “ you have one of those Johnthan Joiner shirts” so you have more than one fan up here in NC. Keep up the good work.
You should make the track bigger and get more karts then when you aren't racing you can race karts
Uu
I GUESS IT WOULD BE HARD FOR THESE PEOPLE TO UNDERSTAND WHAT IT'S LIKE TO NOT HAVE ANY PLACE TO WORK ON A CAR , CYCLE OR KART. IMAGINE TRYING TO DO ENGINE OR AMATEUR BODY WORK ON A VINTAGE AUTO IN AN APARTMENT COMPLEX ; YOU MAY GET KICKED OUT OF YOUR APARTMENT. SO, YOU LOOK FOR SOMEPLACE TO WORK IN A BIG PARKING LOT . YOU WON'T HAVE ANY REAL ELECTRICITY, AND THE POLICE MIGHT IMPOUND YOUR CAR. IT'S IMMPOSSIBLE TO EVEN FIND A PLACE TO RIDE A GO- KART WHERE YOU WON'T HAVE SOMEONE CALL THE POLICE ON YOU. IN THEORY, A PERSON COULD SIMPLY ASK AROUND TO SEE IF A FRIEND OR RELATIVE WOULD HELP WITH SOME GARAGE SPACE, OR JUST A PARKING SPACE WITH NO SHELTER . BUT OTHER PEOPLE DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW PRECIOUS THESE THINGS CAN BE. I LOOK AT MECHANICS AS ART, AND EVEN THOUGH MANY PEOPLE AREN'T ," GREAT IN THAT ART, INCLUDING ME " ; IMAGINE NOT EVEN BEING ABLE TO PARTICIPATE AT ALL.

Widen that track and call your buddies. We have a “circuit “ of back yard race tracks that have 20 or so show up to on weekends. It’s a blast racing with your friends, cooking out, and having some cold beers to end the day. 🤪😉😎
Or cold beer before the race for added difficulty
@@haydenwilliams2771 how bout whiskey then chase it with beer then race
There was a guy at my local track that got drunk and crashed ALOT.One night he ran thru a wooden fence and hit a tree that was about 50 yards away, still full throttle when they got to him and no it wasn't stuck, they finnally kicked him out over that
VINCE MCBRAYER yeah, shoulda mentioned that the drinking is for after the racin. Lol any drinking and driving is never good
sure does need widing. and needs to be a bit longer i think. no time for the cart to open up in speed. make that bad boy about 30 feet wide and 80 foot long.
91 sounds good.. Speed don't always win races..great video
Happy Birthday to your Father........Yes show the Go Kart Racing and kart stuff I think that would be awesome...Mash Your GAS and go REAL FAST......
If you have any questions about the set up all you have to do is call ultra max and tell them your kart and what it is doing.. You don’t want to be sliding it’s costing you so much time. If you buy some prep like “goat pee” or black bite it will help a lot. And please change the gear
You all need to get one. Get Daddy one too.
We race those on the off season out in California with all our family, and friends. It started the same way . One car and a home made track. Now we get up to 20 at one time. We run heats, a B main and A Main.
If y'all need any go kart setup or tire prep tips just hit me up, I'd be glad to help
It would cool showing some cart stuff too. 56 + 10 = 66. BINGO!! Tell y'alls dad Happy Birthday. God bless you all.
I am 12 years old and I race that same engine at Callahan speedway I recommend vega red for tires but you will definitely need to treat them I also am very much in love with prowler karts. I won a race last weekend my best time on a fith mile track was 15.43. Hope to see you at the track.
Hey I used to race gokarts. I have one tip that will make you a lot faster. When your racing and your going around a corner hold the gas wide open and drag the break. That will make it to we’re you will still have the motor wound up for going down the straight
I ran a few kart series back in the day. It's a hell of a ride.
Keep this track series going and keep making the track larger. This is where the real family fun is. THANKS
Would love to see more stuff with the go-kart family stuff more go karts racing out there may be a longer track
This is the way family is supposed to act. You guys are some good folk. I wish I could make 4 or 5 laps in one a them dirt cars. Man that looks so fun.
Work on the track and get some more competition involved. Great fun, keep us informed!👍
A Pensacola boy watching this from Japan makes me homesick. Yall look like you are having a great time!
Happy Belated Birthday to Bossman, Johnathon has me rolling looking at them tires tho haha
What time should i be over this weekend? You guys are having to much fun
I started out racing karts.. then raced sprints for 15 years.. then went to winged outlaw karts and got my kids karts like this one yall have. Love ur content. Vlog very much how I do my content.
Yay Joshua is here!
Pop.
He gonna do it!
GOOOOOOOO birthday boy!! awwwww....Yall havin fun with that thing. Awesome!
An awesome go-kart number would be number one that way you'll be first place all the time praise the Lord that would be be awesome to see go-kart racing on this channel as well we love y'all thank you all for the great videos
I live up in Yulee and we race at a sprint track in Jax, will have to ride up to Callahan to catch him running one time. Cool to stumble upon this video
Also you want a inch and a half stagger across the front and a inch and a quarter across the back
Levi Bender for that I would go to atleast 2 in the rear.
I’ve ran modlites, stock cars, modifieds and karts. Most fun I had was in karts racing with my son. Started my daughter in quarter midgets this year. Get that boy in a kart!
hell get everyone in the family a go kart and race at your own track.
That's what we do at my cousin's place. Fully banked track nearly twice as big and wider area to run.
Happy Birthday to your pops!! Another year older and deeper in debt...lol nah Twins? Heck I thought y'all all were twins lol ya all look alike to me. Hope the family is doing well my friend. Race on...
Needs waterd to get the smooth layer
No it’s just to wet and they don’t have the right gearing setup.
I am enjoying the late model videos, us Hoosiers are die hard sprint car fans, Brian Clauson was the Dale Earnhardt of dirt up here. Love the go kart, we also have a ton of kart tracks around the mid west part of Indiana.
Daddy the "Barefoot Racer", I love it!
Give Pops a hour of track time so he knock some of the rust us old timers seem to collect and he will give you young pups a race . This was awesome to watch.
Hey guys i race karts up in the nort east and if you guys ever have any questions on setup or tiers or how anything works let me know happy to help
JCMTV I have a question. I’m looking to get a used kart for the autocross here at my university but almost everyone around here is selling dirt track karts. Can these be converted to be used on pavement? I know they have different sized tires but what if I put the same size all around? Is the offset too much?
Raced dirt karts for awhile, very fun if you get tires right, gonna be a long day if you miss. A hooked up kart will not slide at all, should be stuck to track. Happy birthday pops
Happy happy birthday pops I hope your dad has a totally awesome day I'm sure you guys will make it a good day for him Lord willing we'll see your dad on race day have a great one with your brother :-) peace
man grew up racin those carts miss those days!! cant wait to see videos of yalls boys out there tearin it up!! and make him #90 56+24+10
Y’all should check out Pensacola Dirt track. Robby Mclendon promotes and run cart races at his facility.
The more racing the better! I think it would be cool for some videos on how to get started in kart racing, maybe show us how you progress into kart racing and so on. But really the more the better, anything dirt sounds good to me!
Those engines are $99.00 at Harbor Freight.
That's the 212 I think they've got the 420 and it's upgraded on their kart
Happy birthday Pops!!! Can’t wait to see more kart stuff. Thats how I got my start back years ago. I love anything dirt track. You know it maybe a little different in some ways but those karts have about all the adjustability of a late model except for shock wise. You can adjust the front end for toe & caster & camber. You can even shim the hub out for offset in the front. The rear axle can slide either direction for offset. The bearing blocks on the axle should have adjustments also to be able to add more weight to the rear wheel on either side. Also moving lead around on the kart will make drastic changes just like a late model or a modified. You guys will figure all this out too just like your cars. But theirs all kinds of ways to set those karts up too. I haven’t been in a kart in many many years but they’re a blast, but expensive as well. Your Brother will be back in late model before long. That’s how it gets started back but when you’re a dirt track racer you’ll always be a dirt track racer. Love what you all do, watching from Eastern Ky.
God that's a dream of mine to have mini track in my back yard lol
The Michigan Joker with a POND in the middle!
The Michigan Joker I have one and it's awesome I definitely suggest getting one
Mine to

That's cool! My son and I raced karts for a while! Not cheap! We ran 5hp flathead motors
WE had stock classes! HE ran light, medium and heavy classes
Loved it
#29 ...great job with the channel you guys are a blast!
This was cool to see how big the gap is of yalls knowledge of karts compared to cars. I think this has been my favorite video so far.
The karts debut was on your daddies birthday use that for a number
I race go karts now it’s a whole lot of fun if u stick with it
I raced them and its fun to race to bad u didnt live in Wisconsin bc ik how to race them
Boogedy boogedy boys lets go dirt track racing in go karts !!!! Hell yeah that’s American. Love it
You have to prep the tires and you run the bottom not the cushion
They won’t get anywhere with a track that’s not compact. The dirt will just fall apart
I think adding Go Kart videos to the channel would be a great idea. Would love to see the #31 on that kart!
This was your 41st video on the channel. Make a 42nd video revealing the karts #. Then the kart can be #42 (24 backwards).
Happy late birthday to pop pop! This was a great video and this it would be great to see this on the off season or when y'all not racing! Best channel right here!
Yes I wood like to see go karts on Channel hey brother to put number 4!!! On the go kart
I raced go karts for years very fun times but go kart racing is a tire game. If you don't have the correct prep in them you will be off pace. We bought new tires(maxxis) every week and cut over half the rubber off be even bolting them on the kart. You probably gonna want to get a tach and I'm sure you already have is scales. I ran 64% cross and 53 left side but I ran phantom chassis on a 1/4 mile flat track and that was a couple years ago so I'm sure it's changed since then. I would love to see karts on this channel. Keep up the good work
Im FROM indonesia Wow! i like your gokart
they are wicked fun and can be very affordable if you know how to turn a wrench!! great vid! i love all your guys and a big shout out to Dirt Daddy for raising such great sons!!! Also want to say to Jessie, "i believe you got what it takes. just believe in yourself and you will be okay!!! all of you have such beautiful wives and new babies! What a magical time you are living! i hope it never ever ends!!!❤❤❤
Seems like 11 is the number the kart wants.
It's only a matter of time before I see that thing ripping down south airport. We used to ride in the subdivision before all the houses started going up

Tell your dad he still looks fast enough to race with you and Joseph
Ol Man joiner gonna put the whoopin on ya your never to old for a good ole but whoopin
Hey man I'm a pro go-kart driver and I race those karts on a bigger track
😂
You want to open up your line and stay in the gas longer. Go into the corner higher and get the car to the roll off the bottom faster.
Catch up with ol Billy Roberson him and abunch of old racers done. Went to kart racing.
This looks fun, kids and I will have a blast!
He going to run predator class? I would buy a clone motor way faster have more options for different classes that predator motor from northern tools Is just one something to thing about
big country I also agree. Clone motors are the way to go.
Happy Birthday to your Dad. Carts - don't know anything about 'em; they will move though (80+). Track a lil dry, think y'all mighta got those times down a bit with a lil dampness and some grooves in those tires ........ I'd say they're already work out --- ain't no tread on 'em....... LOL ........ Good stuff Jonathan. Totally enjoyable.
Get yourself a Alonso rotax 125 senior and go to a real track
Happy birthday to your dad .loved the new cart racing .you have to much fun lol
I raced go karts for five years. That’s just a predator motor. You can buy them at harbor freight. If you guys want some really fun you’ll need to get an unrestricted flat head motor or and unrestricted animal motor.
This is becoming one of my favorite channels. Keep it up and thanks!!
Very nice! I loved every minute of this.
Been running karts and late models my whole life!
I love it!
You guys are just having too much fun! Number 32
GOOD OLD BOYS HAVE SUM FUN,. LOVE IT
First off Happy Birthday! Second...this is as good as it gets. Last minute track build and just good family fun. This channel keeps getting better and better. There was talks of a kart track being built here at senoia but I’m not sure what happened with that. Again good stuff i look forward to your videos.
Enjoy watching your videos I've watched each and every one of them I am a dirt track Go Kart Racer from South Carolina in been in an and around it for 20 years the biggest tip I can give you is Tires Tires Tires you're going to have to use chemicals in your tires thanks again for all the videos
I ran karts and let me tell you it’s a lot of fun. Plus if you’re running open class here in Pennsylvania you go up near 70-100 depending on motor and who’s the builder. Love your videos keep it up brother
Awesome track at Callahan fairly new track as well and I’ve got aunt and uncle down in yulee.
Awesome more family means more fun and fellowship.
They have actually kart stands for those and they also make electric ones that go up and down with just a remote
All that space and just an oval? Make it exciting! Add some long sweepers, chicanes, hairpins 😊
Great video 😊
Well it’s hunt the front so gotta be number 1!
There’s an oil drain plug also on the front of the motor so you won’t have to tip it, but cover more kart stuff!!! #20 is the number I’ve always gone by, but I am considering using 722 for my son that passed 4 years ago 07-22-15
I put the same engine on a 1969 Humbug go kart. You can purchase those direct from Harbor Freight... Needless to say, IT WAS FAST! LOL
Happy Birthday POP! Hope you had a great day!
Race that Lighting McQueen in the background!
the most fun I have seen in a long time. Happy Birthday Daddy
Good luck with the kart. My daughter got a cage kart to race this year. I'm working on getting me a kart to race. Would love to see more on the channel
Hey bud wish your dad a happy birthday from me. Both my sons raced karts for several seasons in VA. It’s a lot easier to go from no cage to a cage rather than the other way around. Have fun guys and stay safe great video.
I race those on a weekly basis! So much fun and there is way more to it than people think! I started a page on FB for my program and if there is anyone who is just starting or wants to learn about these, they can message me there! I'm more than happy to help!
I see a lot of potential for kart racing there. Much lower gearing is needed obviously along with some decent tires. Motor is probably okay with some lower gearing. Don't need a two stroke bomb for this. The track has got to be a bit bigger with a little better oval shape to it. Not sure the kiddies are big enough yet, but soon. Stopwatch racing is fine; keeps everyone healthy. Think of the parties you can have out there. I'd love to do that.
How soon before Joinerville Speedway gets widened out a bit and maybe even some banking in the corners??? Awesome video!!! Your dad looked to be the smoothest out of all four of you. You're definitely going to need more go karts!
Y'all should build a couple more carts and race them ✌✌✌ love the video👊👊👊
Happy Birthday Pops. Yes yes yes. Would be awesome to see more carts.
Happy Birthday Pops! That was a fun video! Here in Pa, to be fast you had to set the kart up so it did all the work and all I had to do was turn the steering wheel a 1/4” or so back and forth.
We run 206 at ncmp in Indiana. It's a great stock motor and a great window into racing. Cheap, stock and some contact (more than the tag/Yamaha open wheel) but it gives a great deal for close close racing.
In this class it's usually protocol to have the championship engine for sell at market price so no one considers tweaking anything.
