Whats amazing is he was a very heavy smoker all the way up will he died and his voice never changed, like George Harrison said he would stand completely still like a statue and this unbelievable operatic voice would come out of him.
He had his own style and he was talented enough to write the songs that he sang, and no one else can sing them the way that he could. Linda Ronstadt did a really good job on 'BLUE BAYOU' and I love the way that K D Lang did 'CRYING' with him.
Roy will be singing with all the very best Elvis ,George ,Tom petty and all the greatest of all times these people will never be forgotten the music will live for ever .can not think of any one that doesn’t know Roy or Elvis they was. 1yr between elvis and Roy.both these guys was taken far too soon and they went the same way heart failed it was heart breaking when they both passed I will always love Roy and elvis both legends.💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔

He was just a very quiet and shy man. But yet again he suffered quite of few tragedies in his lifetime which left him very upset.
