To enhance our long-term investment mix, my partner and I are introducing a range of stocks and ETFs. We've committed $220k initially, with a particular emphasis on inflation-protected bonds and businesses demonstrating robust cash flows. I see potential for enduring growth in the current market, yet I'm also keen to explore strategies for generating short-term gains.
I agree, having a brokerage advisor for investing is genius! Amidst the financial crisis in 2008, I was really having investing nightmare prior touching base with a advisor. In a nutshell, i've accrued over $2m with the help of my advisor from an initial $350k investment.

One of the better responses to the Bitcoin question. Rarely does someone who doesn't understand something in markets say as much, typically it will just be criticism.
I'm all in on the Russell 2000 and some S&P 600. I think there's a very high probability of a huge catch-up move in small caps this year (or maybe next)
So he believes a 75 bps rate cut will give a boost to small caps after they experienced a 500 bps rate hike? Makes no sense and he forgets the fact that 40% of the companies in the R2000 are zombies on the brink of going under. They won't be saved. R2000 will go back to the 1600-1700 range and probably lower if we get a big correction.
R2 has always had a significant proportion of "zombies". It's not so much the amount of cuts so much as the Fed finally admitting it's time to start a rate cutting cycle, which we are probably past. It will cause a huge sentiment change. You can also buy the S&P 600, which filters out unprofitable companies
Costco said inflation is over from their perspective but of course they're only talking about goods they buy not really services and stuff like housing. It seems to me the inflation in services, housing, and energy will remain a tough issue.
When a cat dies, it's turds in the litter box also have a fixed number & become rare... doesn't make them automatically valuable with ZERO use case, (aside from fertilizer).
You can try that, but you will miss out on a lot of gains. By the time the Fed gets to a point where they are comfy with cutting rates, small caps will already be worth far more than they are now, because the increased odds of a Fed rate cut will be priced in to the stocks. Only if the Fed totally surprised the market would this work. What you want is to buy small caps when a rate cut looks really unlikely, like if it looks like inflation is re-accelerating.
This guy is smart I really liked him. I dont touch bitcoin as well even if it goes to 150k I dont care I wouldnt touch it. Also small caps will fly as well as FED starts to cut rates it's an obvious move.
I get what he's saying about bitcoin. Any "brand" of bitcoin maybe scarce but, anyone can create a bitcoin. Like the game monopoly could actually create their own bitcoin if they have the resources for it.

While the current market offers short-term profit potential, it's crucial to note that executing such a strategy requires expertise and skill.

Anyone knows how high the small cap could fly yet?😅
it would ne nice to know which small-caps is he talking about, which are about to fly? I hope they don't fly like Boeing!
Hahaha😂😂😂😂
Wait until the fed actually cuts rates. Then buy small caps.

"buy the news"?
so many people yet to capitulate on bitcoin lmao
Giving rich people all this risk free income is inflationary. Cutting rates would actually lower inflation
Compounded interest on money market accounts is great for intelligent people who save & live below their means.
They never discuss what effect the highest credit card debt in history means. Eventually, you gotta pay the bill.
Gold price is basically inversely correlated to central bank credibility in controlling inflation
I could see them raise 1-2% over the next few years, and hold there to the end of the decade. What some may desire may not be what is required.
I don't see the fed raising the rates but it's what they should do.

Clueless
Yes they will fly but they crash as easily too.
The S&P 600 has gone nowhere, literally ZERO in the last 3 years, it's about time!!

anybody can create dollars. There's tons of dollars for sale on amazon. Monopoly created dollars. Does any of that impact the value of US Dollars?

Are you sure you are an investor?
Rich people stay rich by acting poor, while poor people stay poor by acting rich.
Maybe poor people should start doing rich people stuff.

No one does except the ones mining them.
