Edmonton is a measuring stick in the nhl. Teams bring there best and it shows. Now you can see why the goalie is the most important position in hockey. Skinner has been really good and let’s not forget, it’s only his 3rd yr in the nhl.

Still can't watch or listen to games while I wait for surgery.
So the Blues scored on their only PP (the Ekholm Interference penalty in the 3rd) and the Oilers were 1 for 3 on the PP. Oilers outshot the Blues 38 to 22, were outhit by the Blues 28 to 13, won a LOT fewer faceoffs (17 to 30), had slightly more giveaways (18 to 16), same number of takeaways, and 1 fewer blocked shot (13 to 14). Connor Brown got the game winning goal. McDavid was involved in all 3 goals for the Oilers. Leon for 2 of the 3. Bouch for 2 of the 3 as well. Kapanen played in his 500th NHL game (he had one shot and 2 hits on the night and played 8:36 seconds).
Had to go to 3 sites too gather the information here. Sportsnet didn't have 3 stars. NHL.COM did. I also use NST for some data.

Officiating just cannot miss that boarding penalty, it was clear a hit on the number and intend to injure Hyman. Schenn is angry and refs let him run around and obviously trying to end someone's career. a total garbage
It was extra special that Holloway and Broberg were on the ice when they scored the overtime winner.

The cherry on top of this one, was that Brown ripped it past none other than, Philip "The Pylon" Broberg.
Best shift early in the third was Skinner, Drai and Connor with Skinner recovering the puck a few times and we never seen the combo again. Skinner has been playing a complete 200 ft game for a couple of weeks now I don’t know what more he could do in the coaches eyes he deserves a extended look in the top 6. The trade deadline is coming up quickly now we need to know what he can do given a chance in the top 6.
Yeah Draisaitl might’ve got a penalty but how many times have we got screwed over lately. What goes around comes around 🥊
Why is it so hard for people to accept the fact that they need a better goalie? Better goaltending coach, NHL-ready goalie (Skinner is NOT one), whatever... just better goaltending. They don't need better finishers, I mean you have THE two best offensive players in the world. The answer is in better goaltending...

Good win but why are certain players on this team playing 20 minutes a night and players like Noah only get 7 minutes we lost Dylan and Broberg if knob doesn’t smarten up we will lose Noah too smarten up knob
Very boring game to watch, no excitement. Skinner got lucky in goal, could have been much worse. I think lots of guys are sick and playing, they look slow. Why isn't Savoie playing?
