LOL Donna's theme is so different than the other companions music. You have Rose and Martha's theme which are rather solemn but beautiful. Then you have Donna's which is bubbly and hyper. lol I guess it fits though.

Listening to this after watching "Journey's End." She was one of the finest companions in all 50 years. Easily in my Top 3, including the Classic Series. I loved her and I will never get over her.

Happy, somewhat sassy. confident, full, with an underlying theme that gives hope and strength, which is exactly what the Doctor needed after all his tough times. Donna and the Tenth Doctor had the best relationship (besides Rose and Ten/Nine's) in my opinion.

Don't even get me started about the 'Ponds' and that includes River Song. ;)

I think we have... Bill, she reminds me of Donna AND Ace just a friend that the Doctor is travelling with, no romance or any of that bs, just a fun companion out to have some fun adventure! Bill is quickly becoming one of my favourites up there with Ace and Donna but that's just my opinion :P
Donna was E-P-I-C. I just loved it that the Doctor finally got himself a mate, just a good mate. Donna was funny and sarcastic but also the kindest person ever. And I loved it how she was so clueless all the time and so insecure about herself because that's how I would be if I was the Doctor's companion. WHY DOES BAD THINGS HAPPEN TO GOOD PEOPLE?
i feel that if she was more long term, she would have made a bigger impact than any other companion, but i like her whimsy and lack of love interest. FINALLY! a proper mate.!
This is Perfect...Its sooo...Donna!!! Fun sarcastic sassy funny independent & a strong vibe to it w a kick of great power and smarts...even though she was only human she still didnt take no for an answer...she made it so the Doctor and her were equals and became best friends & soulmates as they became closer and closer...they would have and still would travel the universe in time and space forever together!!!! I want them back...The Doctor and Donna!!! I Miss them so much!!! Xoxoxo
Donna has to be in every list of top companions. I like her for the fact that they had more of a friend/sibling relationship because she wasn't afraid to speak her mind or put the Doctor in his place. She also showed the Doctor that she was more intelligent than she was given credit for. Donna needs more love because she was so brilliant, the fact that she could be loud and obnoxious and funny, yet at the same time so soft spoken and gentle and caring :)
She was insecure because of how her mother treated her as well though, she made Donna feel worthless. I loved how, with the help of The Doctor, she became a really important, confident person... even if it was only for a moment. :(

And her development was awesome as well. Yes it would've annoyed me if she fell for the Doctor, because it would've contradicted her character on many levels, but she was far much more than that. Donna was exactly what he needed. The Doctor was still down from Rose. It was there all through Martha's era. And then she left, as well, and if he didn't have someone to kick him in the pants every once in a while he would have becoming an annoying mopey sad-sack. We -all- needed the comedy. The show had taken such a sad turn. It needed to be about madcap running around and going the wrong way and flaily enthusiasm again. We were all emotionally exhausted. And I just LOVE Donna's sass. Love it.
I usually don't have favorite actresses-even though I acknowledge many who get by on volumes of talent and not their looks-but after watching "Runaway Bride" I fell in love with Catherine Tate. She is AWESOME.
Amy actually reminded me of her. I guess the writer probably liked how well received but short-lived Donna was going to be so they just made sure that Doctor's next companion has a good sense of humor like her.
I love this theme! Donna is a tango, and that's perfect for her. There are lots of little question-and-answer phrases like her little comebacks. I wonder if Murray Gold had Catherine Tate in mind when he wrote the music.
Haha. This is the music they played during that silent part where the Doctor and Donna were looking at each other through a window and Donna was trying to mime what had happened and that lady said, "Are we interrupting you?" That's my favorite scene!
