I went to Bedrock city a few months after Pauly Shore went there with MTV when I was in 5th grade. It was a totally unexpected thing since I had no idea it was in Arizona and my family happened to be doing a road trip to the Grand Canyon. Nice to see it's still there in some form.
I liked seeing Bearizona, Raptor Ranch, the Southwestern Burger, the Grand Canyon, & the safe arrival to your hotel room in Vegas!.
His animal talking voice is legendary I swear it makes my day every time

Go to the Grand Canyon during June for the "Star Party." They have constellation tours and telescopes. It's amazing!

I went to Bedrock in the late 80’s along with The Grand Canyon. It was really fun back then. The Grand Canyon was incredible. I really hope you get to see it better next time. Nice trip down memory lane for me!

I’m glad you didn’t try to scale the canyon in your Crocs.😆 I traveled right past the Grand Canyon with a group years ago, and no one wanted to stop to see it. I was so mad. It’s still on my list.

My wife and I went to the Grand Canyon on our honeymoon last year and it was snowing. We didn't even know it could snow. Thank goodness visibility wasn't terrible. We passed that Flinstones place and I literally said "this is a place the youtubers I watch would go to." Adam the Woo was then there within a month and now you lol

Thanks for visiting the Grand Canyon and I wish that you had a better view. I was there a couple years ago and I loved it.
Bedrock City reminds me so much of the Smurf village section of Carowinds in the early 90s, back when the park had its Hanna-Barbera rights. Not as detailed as Bedrock, but definitely had the same vibe.
I can imagine a little kid getting stuck in the snake tunnel crying and a poor parent having to crawl though the backside to help them out 😂
That was what went through my mind.
It's cool that they kept the Bedrock City figures!
Loved Bearizona especially the beaver waddling away. He had swagger. You can tell a kind and gentle man by the way he talks to the animals. I’ve been loving this choose your destination road trip. Sorry to see it come to an end but I’m sure we will see you finding fun and quirky stuff on your way back home.

Never knew there was snow in Arizona in winter. That might make it just the state for me to live in! Very nice with flat lands, an occasional hill or mountain and a lot of emptyness!
i know the trip is not over yet, but i just like to tell you Jacob it has been an awesome ride. So much to see and enjoy, so much new stuff to learn and such wonderful company. Thank you for organizing and doing this, it must have been hard work.

Great video! Bearizona was fantastic! The Raptor Ranch was cool, especially since they kept Bedrock. It looked they did a lot of work on it! Grand Canyon, well it would always be cool to be there, but third time is going to be you charm!!!!

This was amazing. Loved the Bedrock City especially because I used to watch The Flintstones as a child and made me feel nostalgic. Also that restaurant burger looked divine 🍔😍 thanks again for another wonderful adventure! 💖✨
As a kid we went to Fred's village and the GC. We hit a day in the Summer when it was raining and fog covered too. Saw very little.

Those grates are cattle guards. They work with any hooked animal.
The reason for locking the car doors is that bears can learn to open car doors (demonstrated on a Mythbusters episode). I used to live in that area. Grand Canyon is definitely best seen in warm weather.
So...we saw Smoky and Yogi and Teddy...and Jacob, the most adorable cuddly teddy bear. Thank you for making me laugh.
I was at the Madrid Zoo today and there were quite a lot of animals outside for being in the 40’s. They even did a dolphin show (about 50% educational, 50% entertainment). There were still some empty pens and the capuchins weren’t on their island but in guest view, but I think it’s still a pretty good winter zoo in terms of what’s on offer

Hi Jacob I have a racoon that visits my tree and Eats a lot of Everything! Gingerbread cookies seem to be his favorite WE call him Rocky He has his own picnic table that fits in the tree ! My husband built it! Rocky shares the table with birds I wish I could send you his picture ! He will take food from your hand! He's never been aggressive to anyone

I loved the Grand Canyon in the winter.
And-smart to stay out of that snake!! As youths, we were frolicking there. Chased each other into the snake (four of us, ages 10-13) and encountered some time of scary critter!! (Scorpion? Lizard? Who cares!!) We backed out of there faster than you can imagine.

I remember going to a Bedrock Theme Park in Canada when I was about 9.
I was in Williams Arizona area and the Grand Canyon in Spring 2019--never heard about that Bearizona attraction! Darn it! Thanks for the video.
It is amazing place we had a tremendous view. Try April when I went.
When you check into a hotel, always make sure the toilet flushes before you unpack! Nothing is more annoying than a malfunctioning toilet in the middle of the night. Speaking from experience.

Such a shame that the various Flintstones Bedrock City parks have become relics of the past. They were a big part of my childhood.
So most of the time, if you move those items for sale, they auto-bill you like it said on the sign. Did you have a few surprises on the hotel bill? lol

Been here quite a few times, when we go up north to camp we love to stop by. We’d always try to makeup bearizona type names for other places haha. Example: “aardvarkansa” lol

That's some bad luck trying to see the Grand Canyon--not once, but twice that has happened, now.
No camera will ever capture the grandeur of the Grand Canyon- you have to see it in person! Love Arizona! Hoofed animals fear cattle grids .

A camera doesn't catch it but weirdly I believe it's even hard for my brain to comprehend. It's just so awesome it doesn't seem real.

Just hit up the canyon on your way back to North Carolina. Forecasts are showing clear skies for the next few days there.
Yes my suggestion is not to go to the Canyon in the winter time. The view is absolutely amazing. There are several more view points. Also, a plane crash happened there as well and the Hopi tower is a must see if they re open it.
I had never even HEARD of this place. We HAVE to try it next time we drive on I-40 to Vegas (from Albuquerque)!

Love bears! I was privileged to hold a raccoon when he was young and also when he was older. He would grab hold and sniff your hair, ears, and stick his "fingers"in your ears! It was so much fun! The owners were taxidermist 🤪.
They also had 3 post squirrels.
