I will never understand how this song was left off The Best of Donnie Iris - The Millennium Collection. They didn't have to cut out any another song - just should have thrown this one on.
Also, Donnie's music is just underrated 80s rock. Now the 50s rockabilly tinge makes sense now I know because he was from that era originally! "10th Street" is another amazing song from this album
👍👍👍 DVE Rocks!!! I was in the Army from 83 to 86, every time I came home on leave it didn't feel like home until I heard a Donnie Iris song on WDVE, but when I did I knew I was back.
Interesting observation .... either way, Todd and Donnie were a huge part of the musical landscape in NE Ohio/Western PA! Had no idea growing up that these guys weren't a big deal everywhere else in the US. (Same thing with MSB - they were as big as Journey)
My older brother put this song on a mixtape for me back in the day. Loved to rock out to it. Fun stuff! Still love it!
absolutely love this from a very underrated artist
DVE Rocks!!!
@@dukecraig2402 Pants N' Nat with the Iris triplets.

Jag!!!
Another classic from a guy who should be known the world over

This is priceless!
I can't believe how many sub-Top 40 songs this guy had on the charts in the 1980's.
81 years old and he's still touring!!!
Donnie Iris and his Cruisers were a badass set of musicians. Shame they did not get the fame they deserved.
He’s so fun and underrated
Absolute Legend Here In Northeast Ohio.!!!
Remember seeing him opening for michael stanley xmas 83 at the colusieum. He was great.

He was a member of The Jaggerz and wrote the song "The Rapper". It went to #2 on the Billboard Chart in 1970.
my father played the boxing manager in this

Donnie was born in 1943 holy fuck he's 42 here? Looked like he was 27 or 28
“I like girls & Rock’n’Roll”!!🎸👯♀️🎹👙
No.91 in 1985.
What??? 95?? Should have been at least a top 20 hit.
record company were horrible promoters
Though it sounds more a like Todd Rundgren/Utopia song (hence the chorus), than a Donnie Iris one.
