If you'd like to purchase the upgraded fuel lines, you can do so by reaching out to Rivera Moe. You can find him on several of the 10th Gen Honda Accord Facebook groups... tell him you heard about his fuel lines from The Lemon Factor! LLC
my guy doing some good work on the accord for awhile. still kept my accord original for the most part but will do 1️⃣ or 2️⃣ light upgrade. MY GUY CHAD 😎 😎 😎
I hope they sent you the hose for free. These guys should have known ethanol doesn't mix well with rubber lines. I am in the process of building my own kit with racetronix. Maybe one day I will make the 50 mile trip and say hi. Keep up the good work.
Unfortunately they did not 🤷♂️. They’re solution was to sell a proper FPTE long hose for ~$100, while not offering a fix for the short fuel hose. Then, later on offering a brand new version of the kit that utilizes the OEM fuel lines 🫤
Flex fuel has risks that people don't research. Besides the fuel lines disintegrating and breaking up potentially ruining fuel pumps, it also causes the low pressure fuel pump basket filter to also fall apart and cause issues. Besides upgraded fuel lines, you need an upgraded basket filter that needs to be cleaned every 30K miles as well as an optional small extra in line filter as well. It's a horrible idea to just install the flex fuel kit and call it a day. It would be be an awesome cheap power upgrade on my Type R but I'm not sure I want the eventual extra headaches involved
Most newer cars are capable of running a small percentage of ethanol as there are many gas stations that sell gas with up to a certain percentage - in my area, regular 91 octane usually has 10-12% ethanol. With that said, you should be fine running a gallon or so of E85 mixed with regular gasoline 👍
@buya_pr It is my understanding that the newest PRL Flex Fuel kit (Wi-Fi version) does not replace any fuel lines, as it utilizes the OEM fuel hoses, and as such this would not be an issue.
The only reason a PRL short hose doesn’t exist is because they dropped the ball with the design of it. With the older PRL FF kits that have a potted controller in an aluminum housing (just like yours) the 90 degree short hose would cause interference the metal fitting so there was no physical way to get it hooked up. That 90 degree short hose only worked with the really old FF kits that have a plastic cased controller with a KTuner logo on it. I brought this up to them immediately after buying the hose kit and they removed the short hose from their website. No refund nothing, but let me keep the hose which was useless to begin with..
Lmao. I shared and SHOWED this damage in a video over a year ago. Crazy how ya’ll have to feel the bs before you learn… Exactly why I don’t cater to the Accord community anymore.
Ethanol is hygroscopic, corrosive, and oxidizes quicker than standard pump gas. In engines that have issues with oil diluted with fuel, seems like a poor choice.

😁👍
I agree with you 100% this is BS from PRL.
Thank you for putting this video together. I have not gone Flex Fuel yet on my 10th Gen Accord 2.0t but this is good to know for when I do.
I’m glad to hear that you found the video helpful 👍😁
I was bashed for being against PRL in the groups. I 100% happily do NOT have a single PRL item on my 10th gen accord!!! ❤️❤️
We appreciate you watching out for us!!!
Although many are aware of this issue, there are still plenty who are not - and I certainly don’t want them to learn the hard way 🫤

Nice video. Can you put a link where you got that line?
He goes by Rivera Moe on the Honda Accord Facebook groups 👍
Do you think there will be a problem with any factory hoses if you don’t have a flex fuel kit but are using a gallon of E85 with each tank fill up?

Anything specific you’d like to see?
@@TheLemonFactor your older vids basically covered all mods and more for the 10th Gen, hard to say 😄
So whoever has the V2 Flex kit doesn’t have to worry about changing any hose?
??
It's the same hoses.

@@TheLemonFactorso the stock lines can handle it ?
