Pretty sure there are problems with getting the actors together for the shoots, but a later release with the full ideas would be great
Best theory I have read so far: Ralph actually IS Quicksilver from the X-Men universe that somehow got transported to the MCU earth and is the person in Federal Protection that Jimmy was coming to see in the first episode, thus him having powers that Agatha probably couldn't recreate and so she enslaved him as he was too big a threat to her plans. Plus, Ralph Bohner is exactly the kind of name the more juvenile Quicksilver would like
That’s what my theory is, too! They never addressed who the person in “witness protection” was. Was it someone who actually was in witness protection? Or was that just a cover for if they had someone in the town. Like what are the odds that the the person who just happens to look like X-Man Quicksilver lives next door to the place that vision bought?

Can Agatha give people powers, like superspeed? I think she can only control the people, which makes me think this is the X-men Quicksilver.
Jimmy saw Ralph on screen in the show and didn't say anything or bat an eye.
That would have been an overcomplicated plotline thrown into an already complex story. This would've resulted in an additional 20 min. that added nothing to the plot, unfortunately.
I really wanted Evan Peters to fully return as his version of Quicksilver. I’m still holding out hope.

But there aren’t any time manipulating characters in the MCU I don’t think yet. So no he’d have to be late 60s which means they won’t bring QS back.

He acts how a normal person would in this situation, not wanting to kill, scared of this new world, not wanting to (at first at least) risk his life but still did after he knows he has to
He's one of my fav characters, actually better than Iron man, he has been through the same thing sort of because he lost his ability to control his hands and that was his whole life so he had to start all over, that was one of the most emotional and real things I've ever seen on a movie.

I feel like they missed a huge opportunity with Evan Peters character. It's frustrating because he plays a fantastic Quicksilver.
I have an illusion that he's the real Quicksilver from another universe and he was on Westview while Wanda was making the Hex and that's why he got the new name of Ralph Bohner and another personality, but Agata before saw his super speed and planned everything we saw.
After Wanda remove the Hex we don't see Evan Peters again.
It's just a theory that I want to make it real.

I really hope this was just a tease, that he will make a cameo as actual Quicksilver for at least a few seconds, in Multiverse of Madness.
Why? It is unlikely they will incorporate the Fox movies at all because where do you draw the line on which characters to bring over and which ones to ignore? McAvoy and Fassbender would be great to bring in, and obviously the Deadpool Universe... but the rest of the current iteration of X-Men are pretty meh. Hugh Jackman says he is done with Wolverine, so that character is likely to be re-cast anyway. Might as well make a clean break.
All of those characters/actors got pretty good runs even if not all of the movies turned out amazing. OG X-Men, X2, First Class, Days of Future Past, and Logan were all pretty excellent. Even the lesser movies had some good scenes.

And when I said to have him as a cameo, I didn't mean I would want all the X-Men in the scene, or properly set up a crossover for the future. Just a small nod to those movies would be a nice gesture. I imagine Doctor Strange hoping through different realities, running away/chasing a creature through the multiverse, and one of those universes just happenes to be the X-Men universe, with Evan Peters making a small cameo. Similar to the Ezra Miller cameo from the CW Crisis on Infinite Earths, if you're familiar with those shows.

Vision was made from the remnants of the mind stone inside Wanda. Then white Vision is his corporeal form.

I love the fact that they stuck to only dealing with Wanda processing her grief. Having endured a 'heart cry' of that magnitude, I understand her pain. She just unintentionally physically manifested her process. I for one just want to hug her and reassure her that she's not alone and she is loved.

I think they’ll come to their senses on Evan Peters and turn “Ralph Bohner” into a double fake-out so they can legitimately bring him back into the MCU as Quicksilver. If they bring back Quicksilver (which I doubt they do), it will likely be a version played Aaron Taylor-Johnson. The Fox universe is unlikely to ever be tied in to the MCU. Eventually Tommy/Speed will be revived and he will be the new fast MCU superhero.

He was quite obnoxious while he was alive, but within one film and in the space of his few scenes he managed to become relatable and redeem himself (and die, cause that's what Joss Whedon does best), so all we and Wanda have left of him is memories. And I hate it when directors try to mess with my memories of past characters.

It’s like what happen with supernatural. Covid happened and then everyone had to rewrite everything so that it would make sense. Agatha literally states in the show, that the Hex Wanda puts up is made up of a bunch of difficult, potent spells that she could SENSE. It would make a lot of sense for Dr. Strange to sense her power as well, considering she even name dropped him by saying ‘Wanda, your power even surpasses the Sorcerer Supreme.’ This show is literally a precursor or Epilogue to Doctor Strange 2: Multiverse of Madness.

The writers in this show thought they were being far more clever than they actually were. That’s a problem that needs to be avoided going forward.
The object is not to subvert your audience’s expectations so much that they don’t like the show.

I mean, she mentally enslaved and tortured a bunch of families including children out of grief, and didn't immediately stop when she came to her senses about what she'd been doing. I personally left the series wondering if you can even call her a hero at all anymore

Honestly, comparing her to the Winter Soldier is really interesting. On the one hand, Wanda's actions are easier to fix. She enslaved an entire town for about two weeks. The Winter Soldier assassinated many, many people.
On the other hand, no one was controlling Wanda. Her active were the result of her emotions, a crime of passion. The Winter Soldier was brainwashed into killing people.
Looking at that, I'd argue Wanda is more of a villian than the Winter Soldier. Taking out your emotions on innocent bystanders might be understandable, but that doesn't make it right. Likewise, while killing people is wrong, it ultimately isn't the weapon's fault. And it is shown that Bucky was stripped of his free will and made into a weapon. We didn't blame Hawkeye for what he did when controlled by Loki.
If Disney ever does shorts in the MCU, I'd love them to do one of the Westview residents coping. It's hard enough when someone breaks into your home. What is it like after someone breaks into your mind?
i really dont like the winter soldier character, I like bucky but not the whole winter soldier thing, this whole wandavision series really helped in giving wanda more depth and and hypes up dr strange 2, about falcon and WS series i hope its not boring coz compared to the wandavision and loki they are the least interesting, wandavision episodes like sitcoms and romance and magic, loki goes through time and commits war crimes, falcon and WS, staring contest, i mean wtf. I really hope falcon and Ws is not boring.

At this point I feel like there's no point in hoping for cool multiverse stuff. They misled everyone on Spiderman and on this show. I won't be surprised if they do it again in Spiderman 3. Or in Dr strange 2. It gets really disappointing when you hope for something cool only to be let down.

There was a payoff if you change perspective. Quicksilver wasn't payed off on the show because he wasn't the loose end - Ralph was. The show actually used the Chekov's gun model with Ralph, and if you look back through the episodes, Evan Peters was always meeting every mark of that:
1) he was mentioned in the first act (episodes 1, 2, and 3)
2) he was seen in the second act (episodes 5 and 6)
3) he was used in the third act (episodes 7 and 9) - when the "gun" is a person and not an object, "used" could be interpreted to mean "take action," but in this case he actually was used and (in the deleted scene) also took action
So they did pay off his character, only he wasn't who everyone thought he was

Why is everyone blaming the fans for being disappointed? They knew what they were doing with this show; all of the easter eggs, the references, Dottie essentially being Arcana, literally using Quicksilver from the X men series, as Quicksilver? They used these easter eggs to their advantage to sustain interest in the show. Can't blame the fans for being disappointed.
Disappointment is one thing, and degrading someone's work is what most of the people are mad about, I have seen so many fans,literally criticizing the show just because the finale was not according to them, in my opinion let's be happy that we got so much of the fan service , and one thing should not be ruining stuff.

I think we should just appreciate him while he was here. We never thought quicksilver would return in some way shape or form but not only the character came back but as Evan peters which we would think is too impossible that he would pop up for a second at least. Remember he was supposed to be in 1 episode. Sometimes I feel like the only grateful one here when it comes to the mcu. If you had told me about phase 1 of the mcu before it came out I would’ve never never actually believed you and most likely it could’ve stopped at phase 1 and more movies would’ve never came out and even then I also would’nt believe that it would’ve been good

God, the writers really did downplay everything. Evan Peters such a great indication of the X-Men just turns into a Bohner guy and everything was building up to just a ‘meh’ ending. No payoffs at all. Pretty disappointed.
Payoffs were pretty big really.
-There is a new quite powerful witch, Agatha, who is currently trapped via mind-control but is likely to be brought back in a future movie.
-There is a new version of Vision with similar powers and now the same memories, but no emotions as provided by the Mind Stone.
-Wanda has leveled up considerably (when she was already among the most powerful characters) and she is now messing with the Darkhold and trying to restore her children which couldn't survive outside of her Hex. You know she is going to accidentally unleash something terrible in the next Dr. Strange movie.
-Monica Rambeau now how unique powers she has yet to fully grasp and is being called up to SWORD
There will be plenty of time for Marvel to explore multiverses, this series and Far from Home just teased the possibilities.

Really annoyed by hearing about all the red herrings. They dropped the ball on so many threads due to their unwillingness to finish the show. Hearing all this about a removed episode makes a lot of sense. The whole series feels like one writer/director did the first 8 episodes then got fired and they had to quick redo the last episode to make it work, can anyone say Justice League?

@@nerevarchthn6860 It was written. We're not sure how much of it got filmed, or if what did get filmed was consistent with the other scenes. A few deleted scenes with maybe an alternate scene/ending might be possible, as with happens with many films/shows. But a full-on extended cut might not be.

I did like the series finale, but I think most people, including myself, would want to have the unfinished, bad looking special effects opposed to a rushed story. For example, there are many scenes in The Clone Wars that aren’t finished that many people love.
It does seem strange to me that Dr. Strange didn’t do anything about what Scarlet Witch was doing, I mean, she took over a town, and he knew when Loki came to earth (Thor3) in like three minutes.
Also, how the hell did SWORD even get Vision’s body, it was in Wakanda, and they’re pretty hardcore about their boarder security lol

Rule #1 of storytelling is, don't waste the viewer/reader's time. If a gun is shown in act 1, in act 2, it MUST be fired. If something is included in the story, it must have a reason for being there.
Well, red herrings do have a reason for being there, even if the reason is misdirection. And if you want to talk about bad writing, then telling a mystery story without engaging in any misdirection at all would be a great example of bad writing.
I like the series, was it perfect no, it had some let downs but over all as a whole it was kool. If those delete scenes would've been added and a Dr Strange taking notice to the magical activity as an after credit scene would've blew things out the water

@@fmrodr no they don't. Bringing everyone back to life that dies doesn't do anyone any favors. If there are real stakes, then the movies have a lot more weight. Ironman's death wouldn't have meant anything if we knew he was just going to be brought back 10 minutes later. Only people that were snapped could be unsnapped. Characters that were restored, Gamora and Vision, are fundamentally changed. Gamora is a past version of Gamora how had never met Peter and has no romantic feelings for him. Vision is an android that now has Vision's memories, but doesn't have the emotions that the Mind Stone gave him. Perhaps Wanda will be able to restore those with her Mind Stone related powers, but who knows. The comics are the comics, the movies/shows are the movies/shows. Think of each as the own multiverse. Things will be similar in each, but not exactly the same. You can always read the comics again if you prefer those stories. The movies don't take away from those, they add a different layer to them.
I think the “red herring” story writing was lazy writing. They could have not written those parts and written an actual good thriller... it was a good show but little things like Dotty and Ralph Bohner bothered me with the story.

They didn't delayed WandaVision, they actually moved up earlier, it was suppose to start streaming in march for the big lead up to doc strange 2 which was originally suppose to be release in may of this year.

They filmed everything right before the pandemic started...and then when they got into editing, they were in a real bind. Travel restrictions, inability to film additional scenes, etc.

Let’s chalk this as due to the Pandemic, understandably WandaVision was an extremely creative and entertaining series with peaks and disappointments based on the top-tier superb job “well done” Marvel usually delivers.

Random thought... Ralph Bohner: That sounds more like a name from a sitcom, and that being said, WHY would his house be the only one not transformed by the Hex with all his stuff still there?? Sure Agatha lived there, but the Hex still changed the environment for her too. Maybe, just maybe it is the X Men Quicksilver and he came through during a dimensional rift and is who the FBI was protecting??
That is the biggest question about the Ralph Bohner reveal really... the hex was still up when he gets revealed, so why wouldn't his info/identity been affected by the hex? Agatha comes to the hex late as well, so wouldn't Ralph Bohner logically be the hex identity he was already given, that is then overwritten when Agatha puts the necklace on, not his real identity? (Although that would be a lot of layers of mind control going on)
Ralph Bohner seems like a name that xmen Quicksilver would say, it fits his personality to just crack a joke and give a fake name, maybe im just hoping Evan wasnt just wasted for a joke

Multiverse of Madness could do it, if they go to some other universe where he's still alive (and preferably, this would also be one where Wanda isn't, so then he'd have no reason to stay in his reality when there's another reality where his sister's still alive, and he has nephews that need saving)

Yeah, ...I’m really feeling confident about Disney’s/Marvel’s ability to produce these D+ shows. So far I was expecting “blow your mind”. But all we got was “burst your bubble”.
Would had been interesting if Dotty's character was found to be cornered by Senior Scratchy in the basement as Dotty was trying to get the Darkhold before Agatha used it in the roof. Anya(BTVS) had a fear of bunnies since in hell dimensions, WereBunnies are like the rabbit in MontyPython's Holy Grail movie. That scene would had been a great easter egg before Monica&Ralph shows up in the basement.
I thought that was really stupid with Monica Rambo, with always being on Wanda's side and last things saying how they'll never know what you gave up for them... and it's like, you're both villains then, because she basically kidnapped 100s of ppl knowingly, and tortured them unknowingly.
I felt like they should have bent over backwards to get Doctor Strange into the show. I like red herrings in shows but with a large part of the show not included (the Señor scratchy thing), and Dotty, and Quick Silver. And they didn’t realize people would theorize about the engineer. It just felt like too many red herrings. Adding some big Cameo would have been nice.
Apparently they didn't add Dr. Strange in because originally his movie would be in a month after WandaVision. Too bad the pandemic screwed it up

@@xfga4531 maybe your right, but this guy has a surprising amount of knowledge and is able to interpret what will happen to such a great degree that I must admit it is hard to keep trying to say “this is just a theory it’s not definite” when almost all of his theories turn out true. Also I like learning about the little Easter eggs and He always mixes that stuff with theories so it is kind of unavoidable.
