EPIC CACHUMA CRANKBAIT BITE! (over 40 fish!)

Back to Cachuma and the bite is still on FIRE! I use mostly a crank bait and catch over 40 fish. At least half were smallmouth! What an epic bite at this lake.

It was so cool getting to meet you and your Dad at Sanibel last week. The next day we went to blind pass and I caught a 30" Snook.

The way I set the hooks when I’m cranking, is with a sweeping motion of the rod. I’ll either sweep left or right depending which side of my body I have the rod . You did good!!

Sharpen your hooks. When you feel the rod load - hit the fish harder.
