This is my first figure review video, hope you enjoy it. I have included some stop motion clips and you can see the full movement and gimmicks instead of my hands blocking the figure most of the time.
Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans was one of my favorite Gundam series of all time. I was hoping that Bandai would have release a Gundam Barbatos Lupus Rex figure in their Metal Build line but instead we got it from their Metal Robot Spirits line instead. At first, I was not really interested as it is smaller in scale and the details are not as good as compared to the Metal Build figure. But I was intrigued when I found out that this Barbatos figure will have the highest amount of die-cast parts in the history of all Metal Robot Spirits releases and the eye effect parts just look awesome.
When I received the figure, I was quite happy with the overall quality. The paint applications, articulations and accessories are all up to standard. Bandai really did a great job here. I could get some nice poses easily and this figure really brings out the feral and beastly feel of Gundam Barbatos Lupus Rex. Overall, I feel that this is a decent figure by Bandai and I would totally recommend it to all Gundam IBO series or Barbatos fans. My only complaint is the loose joints on this figure, which makes it hard to support the heavy mace sometimes. Otherwise this would have been the best small scale Barbatos Lupus Rex figure in the current market.

@@hotsauce8780 Thank you! Yup was thinking whether I should get Vidar and Bael, but seeing the joints on Barbatos getting loose over time..I am not so sure now haha
@@CIsToys Metal Joints often need maintenance over time unfortunately, but at least they don't snap lol. I just ordered the metal build Crossbone X2
I'm probably going to snag Bael just because Mgillis.
@@hotsauce8780 I guess the issue lies in the thin waist design of the ibo gundams, hope bandai can somehow reinforce the waist joint on Vidar and Bael.
I have the crossbones X1 but I skipped out on the X2. I want the X1 full cloth so bad though but it's too much for my wallet right now haha.

@@CIsToys how big or tall is this? I bought tamashii Barbatos lupus and it was really small I returned it, was wondering since the lupus Rex is more expensive it’d be bigger
About 1/144 both are same size
