If I was going to pick one up I'd definitely go with the Mafex as face likeness is plenty close enough for me & it's the best overall value otherwise imo. The SHF face shape looks a bit too wide imo. Great review & your spot-on with the pros & cons of each imo.
this is one of my favorite comparative videos in YT.you made possible to see in one video, 3 compannies was made a Thor Endgame. Its very very informative
I think the marvel legends and the mafex one are better then the figure arts so I would go for either of them but the best in the three would be mafex but if u want something cheaper and also on par with details of the mafex the marvel legends figure is for u
Like you mentioned, the things I think the SHF does better is the likeness and the chain mail armor. Everything else I think Mafex does better. Good comparison!
Hi I enjoy your content a lot but I think that you may want to change the scale section. Most 1/12 figures are actually not 1/2, there's what I call US 6" and Japan 6". Basically, brands like shf likes to be more accurate to the 1/12 scale with their figure being smaller while most figures from marvel legends, mafex and mezco actually size their figures up even back in 2000s with hasbro. So I think that sticking to the 1/12 scale actually will hurt the scale of these figures and how they look compared to the majority of the 1/12 figures we have. Just a thought, great review still.
Thanks Dennis for that thought...! Just a quick question, so you are saying that Japanese brand like SHF will be more accurate to 1/12 scale while other brands like Marvel Legends, Mezco and even Mafex (also Japanese brand) will be less accurate to 1/12 scale and they tend to be bigger?
@@DCSG81 That's the general, there are exceptions here and then because not every figure is scaled correctly. Most marvel legends are much bigger than shf and brands may not always match becaus of this reason.
1/12 scale is 1/12 scale. Either the manufacturers are in compliance with the scale or not. For recent (past 2 years) releases Mafex is most accurate to 1/12 scale for their releases, SHF is hit & miss while Marvel Legends & Mezco are mostly larger than 1/12 scale.

Yeah I think Mafex one is more well rounded in overall.

Can’t wait for the Mafex Iron Man 85 to complete the big three!
Me too!
Mafex took their time. But they look like they will make it 3 in a row for the best in their scale.
Bro can you bend the strombreaker of mafex and shfigurats plz reply
Yes very nice video 😊
Does the Endgame Thor’s head fit on the Infinity War Thor?
You can check it out in my upcoming head swapping video.
Mafex Looks Like Infinity War but some major difference
Why is that?
@@DCSG81 It Doesn't Look That Much Fat
I prefer ML, bcs thor should be taller one, in big 3 team
Mafex and ml chain armour is more accurate
How so?
But I Have To Say, Mjolnir Is More Screen Accurate In S.H Figuarts
Why?
@@DCSG81 what why ?, It is Screen Accurate
marvel legends wins this one

Mafex is fine with the 1/12. Mezco and marvel legends are a no

MAFEX Endgame Thor Is So Much Better Than S.H. Figuarts
Mafex WINS! Flawless victory 🤣✌👍
Hahahaha.. not entirely flawless though...
@@DCSG81 then, FATALITY
I disagree with the likeness shf face & hair just don’t look right, it’s a lil likeness to Chris but that face can’t compare to the Mafex
