For those still looking for the right switch I think 'SMD 4x4x1.5mm Micro Switch Push Button' is what you desire. No guarantee until someone will confirm that this is the right one.
Actually, I ordered 'SMD 5x5x1.5mm Micro Switch Push Button' on the bay of ee and those fit prfectly. Honestly though, just buy an entire key fob for £14 and put the old key end with the new buttons end, then pair it to the car as per other videos on UA-cam. Top tip: WD40 your ignition key first and go 1-2-1-2-1-2-1-2 pretty quickly when pairing, not slowly and deliberately. Quickly.
Sorry, but I tried this and you'll need VERY steady hands and a fine-point soldering iron. Just buy a new key fob on eeebaaay, 433MHz for Europe, other freq for USA.
Thanx for the information and perfect presentations..
Where did you buy the switches exactly
Very well done
[thank, you for you're helpful video] 🙏

No commentary - and no proof that this DIY home fix will actually work ?
Hello, where can I buy these switches please ?
I would also like to know where to buy those switches
In most cases you don't even have to replace the buttons, just heat the pins up with a soldering iron, the solder often cracks because of the age
what if i just buy a new board and put it in will it work?
You have to programm the new board, bether change just the switches :)
Yes it will . However It will need programming
You could buy a new board then swap out the 10 pin chip if your car does not have a way to manually program the remote yourself.
Can buy them on ebay or amazon.
