  • This circuit is a simple Clap Switch using a NE555 and two BC547 NPN Transistors in a timer configuration, able of driving a light bulb up to 230 volts!
Principle of operation: Noise is received by the microphone capsule, the circuit with NE555 comes into action driving the relay (5/6 volt relay only).. At this point the relay closes the contact and powers the 230 Volt bulb.
    Components:
    - 1x Microphone
    - 1x NE555 IC (no NE556 or TLC555)
    - 2x BC547 NPN Transistors (or equivalent)
    - 2x LED 5mm (any colors)
    - 1x 2Ω Resistor
    - 1x 330Ω Resistor
    - 1x 470Ω Resistor
    - 2x 1KΩ Resistors
    - 1x 3,8KΩ Resistor
    - 1x 47KΩ Resistor
    - 1x 100uF at 25 volt Electrolytic Capacitor
    - 2x 100nF Capacitors
    - 1x 1N4007 Diode
    - 1x 5/6 Volt Relay

Interessanti le sezioni di protezione con i diodi, e il filtro in ingresso con il condensatore.
Invece non sono riuscito a trovare il resistore da 2ohm sul diodo. A causa dell'illiminazione leggevo 22 o 220 ohm...

Grazie Luigi! Quel resistore da 2 ohm serve a limitare leggermente la corrente al relè, io preferisco metterlo anche se si può farne a meno :)
      Grazie per il commento!
