I went on it today. Hadn’t been on a roller coaster in over 15 years! I clinched my husband so tight 😂😂he sent a text to all the kids and said how I screamed bloody murder 😂😂. This damn ride stressed me out 😂😂😂
I just went the other day and I was gripping that seat for dear life I didn’t even scream because I was so concentrated trying not to pass out😭

This ride is so much scarier and real life than it is on video I can 100% assure you. If you do not like giant drops and scary rides, I do not recommend lol. And it goes 45 mph.

I JUST LEFT UNIVERSAL ABOUT TWO DAYS AGO AND THIS RIDE WAS SO FUN- I WENT ON THERE TWICE. The *drops (how did I put drips?) absolutely killed me though. (Mainly because it was raining and this was one of the couple rides that were open, but still! I also went to the one in Florida 😁)

Second day/ date I was seeing this guy, I went to the universe and ride the mummy ride...
I got so scared I was hugging the guy I was seeing arm and I had a panic attack when the ride ended.
I never knew I had a panic attack and my panic was giggling. I was giggling shaking uncontrollably.
He did comfort and cared for me, we been dating for 4 months going to be 5

Went on this for the first time and my eyes were closed the whole time cuz I thought it was gonna be way worse. When the ride was over, and it was actually fun, I was sad I didn’t open my eyes. Glad I can see now the fun I missed!

Went on this ride once not knowing what to expect lol I already hate rides that are fast so it caught me off guard haha but very fun.

I just recently went to universal,and I’m a kid so when I went on that ride my eyes were closed the WHOLE time and it was so scary😭😭
I went like three days after Christmas, girl it was my first “roller coaster” ever and I didn’t expect it to go so fast so yeah lol, my eyes were glued shut the whole time and I was screaming and crying lol. It was really scary😭

I love this ride! Absolutely stunning and it's a fantastic launch! Premier nailed this making this my #2 at the park. Although my #1 will obviously change when Drift becomes a reality.

I rode this ride five years ago in the summer of 2019 during a trip to Los Angeles and boy O boy it was my favorite part of my time at Universal Studios down there.
Partly of course because I love mummies obviously and I just loved how visceral and scary it was as such.
This ride was quick. The part when it started going backwards I was never prepared for. 🤭
already prone to fainting on rollercoasters and this one left me blacked out for a MINUTE- had some palpitations on the way out def might ride again 😂😂
If they are going to close this ride down, I will be mad. This is like the pirates ride in disneyland, we should protest if they take this down. This was my first ride in universal studios. I love this ride, they can take any other ride except this one and Jurassic World
Same. The mummy was also the 1st ride I ever went on at Universal Studios. I agree with you on taking any other ride other than the mummy and Jurassic World. The drop for Jurassic World is insane. They also cannot take down Nintendo World

My wife can't feel her legs and uses a wheelchair. So, the first time we rode this, just before the coaster goes backwards, she asked me why everyone was screaming. If you know, you know.

went on this at least ten times in a row when i was like ten. my mum was drinking with a guy in the nearby Irish Pub and he gave me his FastPass, it was a slow day i suppose. ran through the empty line and didn't have to wait whatsoever

the first time i took this ride was in 2011 with 34 yo... Was awesome! The past weekend, in saturday 29th 2024, with 46 yo i took this ride for 2nd time, and mi head and back almost exploited! It is as fast as fun!

I got tricked on this ride. I thought it was just something like a documentary or something like that, but then it started going up and I Was so scared

Was just there on the 29th of October.. The mummy was the only fun ride there and the Jurassic park one and the Simpsons and Hogwarts area… the rest of the park was a huge disappointment…
But the mummy didn’t disappoint the launch on that ride is so legit I wasn’t expecting to be pulled back from my seat …
Yeah went to the park for the first time on the 27th, first time at an amusement park in general. Only came out really liking The mummy, Jurassic park, and the transformers one. Don’t understand how people wait in line for almost an hour just for 5 minute rides.
@@LUXKIO yeah I definitely won’t be returning back to universal they need more big boy rides … Even DisneyLand has more coasters and rides and attractions then universal, I was just stunned by how much of a waste it was , not to mention the park “closed at 5:30 for horror nights” I was visiting from Bakersfield and I felt like it was such a rush for everyone in the park and I seen it in everyone’s eyes … And the wait times certainly didn’t help .. 45 plus just to get on any ride … I luckily had bought a “Express ticket” at Simpsons I rode the first time and waited 35 minutes on express… I came back to ride again because I had legit ridden every ride at this point and it was 4:30 , the guy at Simpsons express line , said once I came back after hours of not being on it said “I can only use express once for the line” I leave the Simpsons and go back to Jurassic park again because I wanted more for my money and I try my express ticket again even tho I had already used it and she didn’t say anything and lest me through… I was just disgusted by the whole situation at Simpsons, … But regardless the park is a money pit and I’m glad I learned my lesson “ don’t go to universal” lol …
Oh and Nintendo ride was extremely horrible, 1hr 30 wait in line for a ride that stalls in the beginning clicking buttons , and the line in the “hat room” we’re you grab Mario’s hat , man what a joke… Legit people crowding on top of your back , kids that aren’t watched legit almost pushing you down that stairs … Was a horrible experience all around … I went back in 2010 when I was 10 but boy I didn’t remember it being this bad but sheesh 🙄….
