I own the S24+ and the S24U and while as a long time Galaxy Note user i got the Ultra for it's boxy form factor and a flat screen (finally), the slightly smaller and more rounded S24+ is such a fresh breath of air. It's an amazing phone and the fact that Samsung finally brought back the 12GB of Ram option as well as a QHD+ display on the plus model makes this phone an excellent option compared to the pricier Ultra models.
So would you say. In short terms, the 24+ is a worthy upgrade. Looking to upgrade phones for my parents, and i doubt they will notice the difference in camara quality between the 24+ and the Ultra. Added note they are upgrading from a S8+ so anything at this point would be a massive upgrade lol
I blame Samsung for a bad marketing approach regarding the S24 series. The Ultra is shown as the only one to buy. The Plus is expensive and the public does not know why. The Plus should be the center of the marketing. Then the Ultra should appear in ads showing exactly what are its strong points to justify the extra cost. Thanks for videos like this to correct and inform!
I have been using S24+ Exynos for almost a month and I am enjoying it, surprisingly without any issues. Getting 7hr+ SOT with a QHD+ display. Hope it gets better with more updates.
That's great to hear. Luckily in U.S, we get the Snapdragon version and I am enjoying mine so far. It's a beast in terms of performance and battery life. I do notice my S24+ does get warm with light usage but it's doesn't happen most of the time. I hope Samsung keeps improving the S24 lineup.
Snapdragon snobs out here pretending any alternative is totally unusable 🤡 get a grip, none of you will use the phone so specifically that you'll be able to tell the difference anyway!
I feel like plus camera specs should be better that way it can be different from the regular and can at least compete with the Ultra. I love the s24 ultra but if the plus had better camera specs similar to the Ultra I would've went with that.
Another fantastic video! I absolutely love your channel!! You speak very fluently and clearly. You don't BS around the nonsense just to make your video better, but you hit the mark on every important feature that needs to be discussed. 👏 my man for another fantastic video of the S24+. Right now, I'm still using the S22U, which I still like very much.bi was just very curious about the outcome of the S24U or + version + AI how Samsung planned on pulling it off. Thanks again, and I can't wait for your next video.
Just go for the s23, its proven to be a beast !🎉 it got software updates untill 2027! Save up some money and pick up the s25 (ten months away) resell your s23😊
the thing is that the ultra will stop being "special", but yes, a 200mpx is a good feature, you can get that from a xiaomi for half the price of a s24+
@@AppleReviews no actually, but the redmi note 13 pro already has a 200mpx photo, and its like 400 USD maybe? Of course the rest of the features like wide camera, video stabilization, night photo is not like a Samsung
The only reason i went with the Ultra yet again this year is the camera system. The S24 and + use embarrassingly outdated sensors. For the price, that's absolutely unjustified. I prefer the + over the Ultra in almost every way. Especially this year. But the camera system...
I think that is 100% right. I traded my s22 with exynos for the 23U, when it came out.....never looked back....is samsung a total cheapskate in this regard?
Honestly, the ultra is a gimmick n shouldn't exist. The cameras on it should be on the plus size. The s pen is the stupidest part of it, nobody uses it as intended lol it doesn't make u a better creator or anything in that aspect, samsung just sucker's u all into paying more for the same shit the smaller n plus sizes. 😅😅
Exynos makes this phone a complete no no. I wouldn't recommend this phone to anyone. I will rather buy Samsung S23 plus because at least it has Snapdragon chipset in it. It might look and sound great now but with time, you will definitely regret it.
phone has been out for a month and here you are claiming nonsense stuff. I have the exynos and it does not get hot, gets me a day and a half worth of battery and it's extremely fast with zero hiccups. don't listen to this guy. does it suck that it's a slightly inferior chip than sdgen3 on us market? yeah. is it this big of a deal? hell no.
@@utkua.8474 you said it yourself. "Slightly inferior chip". Who should buy a phone that has an inferior chip for the same price being bought elsewhere with a proper chipset like the Snapdragon for galaxy? Speak for yourself bruh and use your exynos. We want better products that is actually worth our hard earned money.
@@utkua.8474It is well documented that Exynos 2400 is battery draining screen dimming and at least loses 20 percent more battery than snapdragon. You could've played some netflix HDR video to show the real quality of screen in QHD
This Exynos is great, well done samsung
Exynos makes this choice difficult
Agreed....in uk this is horrible....my memory of the S22 with exynos was NOT good
@@DrMoorehenthe Snapdragon version of that phone was worse

Exynos had some serious issues over the years. But in my experience, this years 2400 is really good.
Honnest and good review, the exynos it's perfect ! Thx 🤪
Thank you for making this video
They should bring back the curve screen for the plus and rename it Pro
Don't mind that idea!
The heck with curves screens, so unpractal

s24+ has wqhd+ and 12 GB of RAM

The plus should have a macro camera
Absolutely agree it should have macro capabilities but not a dedicated macro camera
Love it. 👍

i have one with the exynos and iam regretting not getting the ultra the exynos just makes a good phone bad

The Exynos S24+ is a great phone. In performance tests and benchmarks it is holding up really well
It would be nice if Samsung designed there own phone instead of a copy of garbage I phone. It's not big enough
S24+ très très bien mieux que le s24u
He lost me the moment he mentioned exynos. I've seen the numbers myself and I don't care. Snapdragon or bust.
Why you so scared of a tiny smartphone processor bro
Lol as if you'll be able to tell the difference
Really hope that was his daughter
Of course it is
It's a really good phone but at a $1000 the cameras are weak being they haven't been updated in three years .
The phone thankfully is more than it's camera system.
But i do agree they should've updated the hardware this year to be a little more capable

Hard disagree but take your opinion.
The Ultra is the most popular variant of the S series for a reason.
