On March 12, 2020, all BYU Choir performances were canceled due to COVID-19. In the months following, past and present members of the BYU Men’s Chorus assembled online to create this virtual choir. “You’ll Never Walk Alone,” from the musical Carousel by Rogers and Hammerstein, is a song of hope, love, and unity. It lifted our spirits as we sang it during some very dark days, and we hope that it will lift yours as we embrace this new year with hope of brighter days ahead.

SPECIAL THANKS
Rosalind Hall, Alexander Woods, CJ Madsen, Ben Fales, Zach Griffin, Kyle Andrews, Nick Spinder, and especially to the 400 BYU Men’s Chorus Alumnus who participated in this worldwide collaboration! We couldn’t have done this without you!
Being able to play piano for the BYU Men's Chorus for several years was something I will always treasure. I am so grateful for Rosalind Hall, the previous Men's Chorus director, for her commitment to excellence and her dedication to teaching her men to be excellent, too. So grateful for this reminder that we have heaven's help in every trial we face.
I'm so glad to have participated! Thanks to everyone but special thanks to Rosalind Hall for an amazing legacy and to Mack Wilberg who taught me more about singing than anyone.
Make the world call for peace no war you'll never walk alone let the whole world sing 2022!
Gentlemen, that was SPECTACULAR! Thank you for being the light in the darkness!
Very good to hear this. Two days ago my brother's house burned due to a wood stove and chimney fire. The house is badly damaged. It was my parents farmhouse. I grew up in it. And the fire has devastated me. Hearing this song sung like this brings me closure and helps me recover. Thank you to all who sung. You touched my heart in ways you dont know. ❤💕💗💜💜❤
Perry, God bless you and your family during such difficult trials. I cannot imagine what you and your family are going through. May Heavenly Father continue to bless you as you continue to heal from such a devastating loss. With much aloha, Hapaki
Just so you know Sir captain Tom sang this I think
I hope your family are ok since we are all a family
Didn't realize there was so many Liverpool fans at BYU
They're alumni.
As a Men's Chorus Alum and a Tottenham fan, this was my first thought too....
🤭🤭🤭
Go Reds!
Yes, the singers and violinist were absolutely wonderful, but let's add kudos for the pianist, CJ Madsen! He truly accompanied the rest on their musical journey to somewhere sublime.
@Rick Kau, Thank you so much for your kind compliment! I have played for the Men's Chorus for several years and loved every moment of it! It truly is an ensemble of angels.
@@cjmadsen3343 You play with so much feeling and help draw out this beautiful feeling from this 'ensemble of angels'! Kudos to you, the incredible violinist and the marvelous conductors of this beautiful choir! God bless you for sharing your talents!

One of Rogers & Hammerstein’s modern Hymns.

I am so grateful to you for the joy and peace you bring to my heart every time I hear you sing and watch your performance videos. This was more than worth waiting! Much love and gratitude for you! Hugs, Mom E
Thanks BYU Men's Chorus Alumni! This was healing balm for me. I'm really impressed with your voices, with the pianist and with the violinist!
Superb in every way.
That was so gorgeous. Wow. Your pianist was marvelous, so emotively inspired. And, your violinist was equally stellar. All three elements- the men's choir, pianist, and violinist- came straight out of heaven. Thank you for sharing this gift with us!!
What a blessing it was to sing with the Men's Chorus. Thanks to Sister Hall and CJ and everyone who put that together.
That's pretty bold of that one guy wearing a Chelsea shirt... lol
To feel that we are walking with the Lord Christ before us.
I've waited a long time for this
This does my heart good! Thank you all who worked so much to make this happen. What a tribute. What a memory. What a privilege!
Thank all of who had a part in this. It is so encouraging.
I really need this song right now. How beautiful ❤️. I lost my two daughters and grandchildren to covid-19 💔😢. I've been so 💔😢 heated
Amazing job on the production of this virtual choir. So many variables mixed perfectly into one ensemble - it sounds like you are all singing together! Well done to the choir and to the mix engineers/mastering engineers who did such a fantastic job on this.
Fabulous! My favorite choir!
So beautiful! So grateful to have been a part of the Men's Chorus! (Also, it's fun to see some of those with audiophile headphones in there :P)
What I needed to hear at this particular time in my life. Thank you for the wonderful words of encouragement.
It's so pretty. Great job with one of my favorites. Thank you!
Such an amazing video! And such a powerful reminder that each choir alumni is part of a brotherhood of love, care, and musical excellence! Zach Griffin, Troy Sales, and Kyle Andrews, you are each absolute geniuses and amazingly devoted volunteers to have put together a video that I can only imagine took dozens if not hundreds of hours of labor. Thank you so much!!
Amen! I echo the same sentiments.
To CJ and all involved, this was amazing! Thanks for sharing your talents in such a powerful way! Watching this video for 4 minutes was more than musical enjoyment, it was a motivating invitation to move forward with increased faith!
YNWA!!! Liverpool brought me here
What an amazing experience to be united with 'one' heart and 'one' voice in sharing this message to the world with my Men's Chorus Brothers again; despite the challenges facing us in 2020 and now. Thank you Rosalind Hall for this gift!
Wow....big guy sitting here all tearing up......🥺🥺😥 Spectacular!

I especially needed this tonight as the Reds are in a seriously down moment right now.! Come on Liverpool! Thank you BYU men!
amazing!!! This is one of my all time favorites. Looking forward to more from these guys!
Beautiful rendition. This song was the theme song of the Gleemen, my high school's chorus some 60 years ago at Waterford Kettering in Michigan. One of the legacies of the Covid 19 pandemic era is the wonderful music generated by all of the virtual chorus's around the world.
This is so wonderful and so heartwarming! I love it! 😍👍👌 Greetings from Germany!😃 ✌
Gorgeous! I sang this song in my high school theater production of Carousel and it has always remained a favorite. Such stirring (and timely) words. Well done BYU Men's chorus!
Wow. Got me emotional. I was lucky enough to be the pianist for BYU Men’s Chorus for a year and it has been an incredible expérience with them and sister Hall. Brings back amazing memories!
Oh my. Beautiful.
I've been waiting for this and it was worth the wait. What a beautiful accomplishment on the part of everyone involved.

This was absolutely wonderful, particularly considering all the hours that each of the participants spent in creating the legacy of Vocal Point. Thank you for that....and for this. It makes my heart soar!
This was beautiful. Emotional.
It is just amazing the technology that went into making this beautiful video. Sometime do it with the pipe organ too. thanks.

I always listen to your recording particularly “You’ll never Walk Alone”. This recording is “par beyond excellence”.
God Bless you All in your music ministry.
I can't stop watching and listening! Thank you everyone who worked on this!
Yes! finally here! great work everyone! Being in Men's and ConcertC with Mack was amazing, simply so fulfilling. I don't know how others of you had it, but I don't know that i've ever heard such an explosion of applause, girly screaming, manly yeah'ing, etc as after the final song we did in our 92-93 Men's Concerts - literally a wave that blew us away. Nothin' like girls appreciating us boys ;-).
And now it was great to be a little part of Rosalind's legacy too.
Go CJ!!!
Q lindo!!! Deus seja louvado!
Lindo de mais. Emocionante!
Great sound virtual choir!
Greatly sung with very good blend. I sing in the 140 voice North Shore Choral Society and the Unitarian Church Choir (35 voices but 6 virtual productions so far) north of Chicago.
From FAll 1981 with RAph Woodbury. Thanks gentlemen. Great job.
