    Glad you struggled with these because these thin BOT molds almost drove me crazy and I’ve been making baits for 6 years now. I now pour a couple colors then put the griddle on at 200 degrees for a short time to get the best results-thanks for the other tips you showed!

      Yeah I had some trouble, I did a more recent video on these as well you should check out. Definitely had better luck this time.

    I just got two 4.5 Bot worms molds in on 12/14/2022. I poured a run of black grape and worm Brown real quick I like it so far.

      It really is a great mold! I love that they are deeper than most molds in that style. Now we just need some longer sized worms, I bet that's coming soon.

    I've been thinking about getting this one to keep on the bench to pour excess plastic when I am injecting. Good video man thanks.

    Great video thanks for telling us about mistakes that's the way we learn. Very nice looking worms. When you get a chance to use them let us know how well they work. You and your family have great holidays. Be blessed.

      Thanks man! Amazon, cheap ones for dusting plastic, some from Dip your car for mixing with plastics but the Amazon stuff works just as good.

    have you tried baitplastics plastisol? its been a week already and still havent made up my mind between them and deadonplastics. your the first i asked. i been on forums and look like both is good then people bash on both products lol. im on the move to make mostly crappie/ trout plastics. i got the bait molds in mind but not plastisols. help me out ill get the one you recommend

      I have used enough of both to have opinions on both, lol. I like dead on plastic for it seems to have less air bubbles introduced into the plastic when you add color and flake but dop needs to be mixed extremely well or the plastic doesn't feel right. Bait plastics gets alot of bubbles when introducing additives and tends to yellow if you over cook it a little bit. I still use both but mostly bait plastics at the moment.

      @@B8N_Tackle oh ok .yea its gonna be my first time messing with these stuff. for BP do you recommend the 242 Medium/Low Odor/Ultra Clear or the 142 Super Soft/Low Odor/Ultra Clear. also which should i go for in the DOP. im going to be making like little bobby garland style baits and those tiny look alike grubs with bunch of lil tickling arms and tails lol and tubes. i want them soft and wiggly but tough like zman plastics. trying make them asap for some crappies and trouts here in california valley.

      @B8N_Tackle  2 роки тому +2

      @@BillaBong1 I would use 242 or 262 bait plastics, dop I would use black label craw/tube or swimbait plastic.
