Did you know that Bowser once trapped all of Yoshi’s Island into a storybook, a storybook that has its own stars, even if we scale Eggman to a star cluster feat, Bowser can do the same, not to mention that Bowser did this when he was a baby!
The way Death Battle has decided to handle this matchup has me thinking this might be an almost 40 minute episode (with a standard length animation) just so that they can justify whoever they think wins to a somewhat sufficient degree.
@@ramzisalim2592 He's not immune but he can negate it's effects since metal objects can't be turned and turning back from metal Bowser means he can change his infected body back to normal.
@@ramzisalim2592 Bowser could quite literally just burn it all away by summoning lava bubbles, giant lava snakes or just lava itself. And Bowser basically has his own version of the metal virus which gets overlooked and thats Fury Bowser. Fury Bowser corrupted the entire Cat Lake dimension to attack Mario by just using his presence alone.

I feeling this might be a Draw Matchup with the fact they give both characters everything. Just thinking each basically have way to make themselves invincible for periods of times (Star Rod, Star Man, Chaos Energy, Phase distortion, more) both have ways of messing with reality and time (stop watch/retry watch, time eater, dark magic, more) and both can have potential infinite wish power (Archie Chaos forms and Dream Stone). I think both destroy reality and themselves may be likely, if there is a winner I would barely give it to Bowser, Eggman have less defences outside his Tech and have came back to life after death with his dark magic.
I hate to be the bringer of bad news but Eggman isn't getting anything related to the Archie comics since it's not canon to the games and is it's own continuity. Death Battle is only allowing all their games along with any other canon material so Bowser gets access to Paper Mario and Eggman gets the IDW comics.
@@david_cool427YTdint they just used a none cannon game feat to nerf Djorno in the last death battle?? And the fact they used a none cannon feat from a movie to deku to try and amp him up??? They have used none cannon stuff in the passed. Heck Archie has always been none cannon and they still used it. 😅
@@LoonyYunie3582 They used Archie for Sonic in the past against Mario but removed it for the rematch cuz it wasn't fair to use it as it was not canon. Also this battle between the Koopster and Eggster is different as they've made it clear this time what and won't be used, at least that's what I've heard.

Well, it could be something that someone on Bowser’s side would at least try. In a war scenario, it would make sense for Kamek to try to steal an item that Eggman could have. Between the Boos and Magikoopas, at least of them will think to look for/steal items. Especially if Eggman begins to use said items.
My money on Eggman. His intelligence along with The Phantom Ruby, Metal Virus, Metal Sonic and Sage is imo the winning combination. Boo might be the biggest obstacle but once that’s taken care of, it’s A likely victory for Eggman.
Here's the thing with this matchup though, that makes it a huge stomp in Eggman's favour imo: Time Eater could drain the existence of the Chaos Emeralds, which are said to grant wishes and contain limitless power. You know, exactly like the Dream Stone. Once Eggman pulls out Time Eater, there's nothing stopping him from just removing the Dream Stone's existence, and Bowser doesn't have anything for that. As for the Pure Hearts, they've been shown to be damaged by being dragged into the Void, where time-space doesn't exist. This is exactly what Time Eater does. Time Eater is so busted that it can just remove all of Bowser's wincons from existence, and then Bowser himself. Not to mention, Eggman isn't dumb. He won't use the Phantom Ruby until the time is right, and certainly not when Bowser could destroy it. And yes, the Phantom Ruby creates illusions, but those illusions are as real as the beholder perceives them to be. As long as Bowser doesn't know which Time Eater is real, then Eggman could just create countless Time Eaters that would erase Bowser's existence before he could even understand what is happening. Combine that with his army having trump cards like Metal being able to take all of Bowser's and his army's best hax, and Sage in Supreme scaling to The End, who is way stronger than anything Bowser has. I think people are underestimating just how much of a stomp this is in Eggman's favour.
The pure hearts can be brought back though, and can only be used once until love us used to bring them back. Bowser only needs to use them once correctly on the time eater and it should be nullified. Having both the star rod and Dreamstone + the pure hearts would be a big defeat for Eggman.
@DjDeadpig Mario needed help repairing the damaged one he found, and again, Bowser doesn't have a way to restore them. And with the intelligence gap heavily in Eggman's favour, Eggman will use the Time Eater correctly to get around the Pure Hearts, not the other way around.
@@epiccarrot88 well does Eggman even get prep on the hearts? And Super Dimentio was unable to nullify the power of the hearts since they were already used at first. Also since Bowser was able to tank the destruction of the Samur kingdom, let’s say all the pure hearts were united then in the Samur kingdom and Bowser had used them or absorbed them or whatever. They’d likely be mostly unaffected due to Bowser’s own durability.

By that logic, Tails should also be immune to butterfly effects, as he met and interacted with his past self in Generations. Still had his existence removed. Sure, not exactly Time Eater level, but during Generations he could keep up with Sonic (who defeated Perfect Chaos in base) and defeated Metal Overlord as he was in Heroes, who was so much stronger than Perfect Chaos that a single stronger Super form couldn't damage it and needed three to attack it at the same time. Perfect Chaos is universal-multiversal, putting base Shadow on around that level, meaning yes, the Phantom Ruby does not appear to have a cap on the power level of the illusions it creates. Not to mention it could create Metal Sonic, who Omega stated was still a challenge to Sonic in Shadow Gens. So half the enemies Infinite created were actually ridiculously strong Also, Shadow defeated his doppelgangers so easily because he knew it was fake. The illusions created by the Phantom Ruby are as real as the perceiver perceives them to be. If you think you're dealing with a real enemy, it becomes real. If you find yourself created by the Ruby, and know what the Ruby does, you know it will be fake, and thus it will be much weaker
